Can you use Clindamycin if you have asthma and copd?

I have lung problems and had tuberculosis when I was younger. I am now 66, have COPD and am very chemically sensitive. The dentist put me on clindamycin for an abscessed tooth. A lot of medications shut my lungs down and my oxygen drops. Should I take this medication? ## Is your dentist aware that you have had, and do have, such health issues? Are you on any other medications? The FDA warns that is carries the risk of causing side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. However, overall, it would be far more dangerous to let an infection like this rage out of control, than it is to try the medication. Have you taken it, yet?

I am on lisinopril and my dr put me on bactrim for 3 days and I feel more tired than usual. Is this something I should be concerned about? ## Drowsiness can be a normal side effect of both of these medications, and it can be more severe, when you are taking more than one that may cause it, according to the FDA. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and diarrhea. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are these the only medications you are currently taking?

I have had bad pain in the upper part of my leg and my hip since I got the rocephin shot. My leg got so sore about 2 hours after the shot, that I could barly walk on it. Now it hurts constantly and it catches and shots pain at where I sit down and stand up. I can hardly walk on my leg. I am wondering is this suppose to happen after this shot. I didn't have this before. ## Soreness, swelling, pain, and redness are possible side effects of getting a Rocephin shot. When exactly did you get the shot? Was it earlier today? Either way, if the pain persists or worsens i would highly recommend that you notify your doctor. Individuals with allergies to antibiotics may also be adversely affected. I would say monitor how you feel, and don't wait too long to place a phone call. Please post ...

Im trying to conceive and my doctor gave me anaerobyl, Doxytet and ovral, is dat can help me? ## Hello, Thesh! How are you? Anaerobyl and Doxytet are antibiotics, they are only effective at treating or preventing bacterial infections. Their typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Ovral is actually an oral contraceptive that's used to prevent pregnancy. Its typical side effects, as listed by the U.S. FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and PMS-like symptoms. That said, no, none of these will help you get pregnant. Are you sure the doctor understood that you want to become pregnant? ## I had miscarriage so I'm trying again bt nou I cnt fall pregnant again is something wrong wth me lm 28

Can iosol iodine be taken with amox/pot clav 875 125 mg that I am taking 2xs a day if taken 2 hours after or before? ## I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between them, but you should double check this information to be certain. Learn more Augmentin details here. As an antibiotic, the Augmentin may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I have 8 pills of Amox/pot 875 mg from April 2009 and have a current UTI. I am wondering if I could use these pills since I ran out of my 250 mg Cipro. ## How long does it take to notice less pain from the time you start taking it for ear infection?

Taking 2 Antibiotics On Different Days

I took Ampicillin last night and I was wondering if I can take Clindamycin today? I have a sore throat and cough. ## Has your doctor instructed you to take them? It really depends on what has caused your illness. Antibiotics will only help with bacterial infections, but they will not help with a viral infection. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

I took the Esclam Kit (esomeprazole/clarithromycin/amoxicillin) 1 month ago and this is the end of the second month and I still have not received my periods. Could it be a side effect? ## No, that is not normal, while the NIH warns that it has been known to delay periods, for a few days, it should not take several months for you to experience once. Other typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
