Has anyone else ever experience this? ## Stomach cramps is a side effect of this RX but its a less common side effect. I have a few stomach cramps but I find that it goes away if you snack on something before and right after you take it. It works for me when I have cramps. Hi I'm on 118 mg of methadone and I was just prescribed 100 mg of doxycycline. Since I've started taking this combination I have been experiencing withdrawal symptoms. About 30 minutes after I take my antibiotic I start getting leg cramps, sneezed and about a hour after i take it I'm on the toilet with the diarrhea. Hello. I have a question about the source of gelatin that is in this particular capsule (NDC 53489-0119). I have recently been dealing with a uti issue. I was prescribed doxycycline for a week and got better. By the end of the week I'm not going to go into details but I'm pretty sure I reinforced myself and started to get the feeling of the UTI symptoms again. So I found a supposed to be trusted pharmacy delivery service from Canada. They didn't have any research on them being a bad or unreliable source from the FDA or anything so figured it was ok. It even explains on there how to take your prescription, like times, etc. and what the side effects were and what not. So I filled a prescription for the 200 mg of doxycycline they said they had in stock. It came in today and it's labeled in a package from a company called Combitic Global Caplet Pvt. Ltd. Based out of India. I lo...

Hi everyone. Near the end of September, I started a 14 day course of Doxycyclin (the specific brand name was Cyclidox). 100mg twice a day, with lots of water, an hour before meals, as instructed. During the course I experienced severe bloating, trapped gas, abdominal cramps, abdominal pain, and belching (burping). The probiotics I was taking didn't seem to make any difference. I knew that any of the Tetracycline antibiotics, and especially Doxycycline, could have gastro side effects, and I stuck with the pills, after contacting my GP who prescribed them. I finished the course, and after three weeks, my digestive system still hadn't normalized. My GP then put me on a 10 day course of Nexium (a proton pump inhibitor) in case I had an ulcer. I took one 40mg tablet per day, as instr...

I have a sore breast with clogged duct. I am going to take the antibiotic Doxycycline. I am still breast feeding a 12 month old. There shouldn't be any problems, right? ## Did your doc prescribe it? If you’re breast-feeding, you need to make sure that the drug you’re taking won’t get to your baby via your breast milk. ## Short term use is not considered problematic, according to FDA information, but long-term use may be a concern, since it can be excreted in breast milk. Please give advice on what more can I use to bring back my menstruation iv been trying to conceive n its difficult. ## Hello Shima! How are you? Has there been any change? How old are you? It really depends on why you haven't experienced a period in so long. If it is due to menopause, then there isn't really anything you can do to change that. However, it could be due to several other medical conditions, and resolving such an issue will require getting the relevant condition under control, if so. Are you on any other medications?
