From their site product information, they list it as containing Doxycycline, which is an antbiotic, used to treat various types of infections.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.

Yes. The doxip 100 I received is a plain orange caplet with no markings. The labels are clear enough but is there any way to be sure that this Doxip 100 really is doxycylin? Thank you.

Betsy Says:

Does "containing" doxycycline mean that the dosage is what is posted? Also, I found their website and the listing but want to know if anyone really knows -- for instance the manufacturer -- how much is in it. Thank you.

amanda Says:

i took the doxip for a few days and although nothing awful happened to me, i felt a little sick and dizzy after taking it. I am not sure that it is a counterfeit drug but it is almost certainly not made to the same stringent regulations that western european medicine is and I wouldn't bother trying it unless you are extremely desperate (as I was and still am!)

I have been on the doxip-100 for 5 days now. I ordered it because I could not get my private doctor or 2 VA doctors to prescribe an antibiotic for a skin infection, a possible relapse of lymes disease and I wanted to eliminate bacteria and or parasites as potential causes of an IBS problem I have had for years

I can say that what I think was an out break of painful arthiritis caused either by Lymes or an infected sebaceous cyst seems to be clearing up, the skin infection I have seems to be clearing up. I use the word "seems" because I am not sure at this point that it the relief I feel is not psychosomatic.

I felt a little quesy after taking the first pill but since then I have not noticed any negative side effects.

I will update as time goes on

i too bought this same medication. the pharmacy was in canada but the pills shipped from india. says Combitic Global on the bubble pack and they are little unmarked orange tablets. they were falsely advertised as the blue ones the doc prescribed. i can't find any REAL info on these pills and i'm wondering why that is. there should be definitive info on the net but there isn't this seems fishy to me. i spent 68$ on 180. i hate to trash them all. have you experienced negative side effects and if you've been using them for a time, can you say they are actually working for sure? thank you in advance.

Betsy Says:

Personally, I just won't take any medication that is not identifiable. That's why I threw the unmarked orange pills in the trash. Better $68 now than unwarranted illness from the pills.

They surely should be marked with something -- either the manufacturer or the actual seller.

On it for a week and I have been on it before for the same thing. It is definitely working just the same except this one doesn't give me the esophagus issues like the capsules did. Looked like legitimate packaging so I said why not.

doxsick Says:

This is my second day taking these DOXIP-100 doxycycline hyclate tablets. I took two 100mg pills yesterday on an empty stomach with no adverse side effects, but today after taking two on an empty stomach, I threw up after about half an hour. I was seeking information on the pills because a lot of medicine causes nausea on an empty stomach but certain brands of Doxycycline are not supposed to be taken with food. I was hoping to find information on it but can't seem to :/ I will continue taking the pills for the rest of my dosing period because at this point I am fairly desperate and am at greater risk if I don't get treated at all. Even legit doxycycline has nausea and vomiting listed as side effects though, so idk if this is a sign of a real pill or a fake. I will report back, if anyone has any information on this DOXIP-100 PLEASE respond!

investigator Says:

Hello everyone, I just recieved an order of Doxip. I too became a bit nervous of the orange pill. Here is the limited research i did.

Doxycycline Hyclate is a yellow crystalline. snap open a pill - it's yellow inside. I really can't imagine someone would fake a colour when probably 99% of people just swallow the pill. how many look into the pharmacology and then open up a pill? not enough to warrant paying for dye is my guess.

I trawled through the FDA website for all warning notices on pharma manufacturers - combit wasn't in there at all - there were however enough warnings for lots of other. I did find some approval notices for combit (for what i don't know, the list wasn't full of much info, just ID codes)

I've had doxycycline 3 times before (prescribed through doctor) and each time i always had a bad sunlight reaction. i am starting this tonight, so i will post back if i get the same (expected) reaction.

Doxycycline is exceptionally cheap to produce. I believe that these pills do contain doxy (again, a guess). I believe the main concern you should have is the production process. Are there significant impurities?

After battling prostatitis for a number of years I've had a lot of antibiotics and never with any have I been nasueous or sick. the posts here of people vominiting make me suspect these pills may have impurities. If I vomit that's a good enough sign for me personally these pills have impurities. will post back...
