Minocycline, sold under the brand name Minocin among others, is a tetracycline antibiotic medication used to treat a number of bacterial infections such as pneumonia.[2][5] It is generally less preferred than the tetracycline doxycycline.[2][5] It is also used for the treatment of acne and rheumatoid arthritis.[5][6] It is taken by mouth or applied to the skin.[2][6]...
