Is there any chance that I can be pregnant or get pregnant rather? ## I have been on nur-isterate from the 28th of May 2014 to October 2016. Pentrexyl (ampicilina) 500 mg

sore throat ## May I drink alcohol and take pentrexyl ampicilina? ## Well this is not a drug approved for use in the US, but I am assuming from the word 'ampicilina' that it is an Ampicillin based antibiotic. So first, let me start by saying that it is NEVER a good idea to mix alcohol and drugs of any type. The alcohol can cause serious problems in conjunction with the drugs and it can also aggravate side effects. In some cases, it can also negate the effect of the drugs, or amplify the effects of the alcohol. In the case of Ampicillin alcohol can block the intended effects of the drug, so you do not get the needed dosage from your medication, which can lead to further complications of whatever condition you are taking the antibiotic for. In addition, alcohol also has a synergis...

Aristocilin ampicillina 500 mg. (mexican)

I'm taking it for a urinary tract infection.. How often should it be taken? And can these cause problems if over the expiration date? (AP13 Ju 10 - Jun 16.) Thank you. ## Hi Kt, In my experience, antibiotic dosing regimens are typically determined by the severity and type of infection you're dealing with; so I would encourage you to discussion this with your doctor or pharmacist before moving forward. However, whenever I've been prescribed ampicillin or amoxicillin (500 mg), it's dosing was recommended to me at intervals of every 8 hours - or three times daily. Concerning the expiration date, I personally wouldn't take expired antibiotics (unless it's only been a few months max), but do know that the dates listed are generally "arbitrary" and do not actua...

As long as you are taking them under your doctor's supervision during the pregnancy you and your unborn child should be okay, especially if your doctor has decided to prescribe the medication knowing that you are pregnant. Hope this helps! ## I am 4 months pregnant and am experiencing vaginal dryness. Is it possible to regain my normal level of moisture? Am constantly dry. ## @Fortunate, check with your doctor, but that could be due to hormonal changes which accompany your pregnancy, and there may n...

I have a tooth infection and 2 bottles of ampicilina 500mg (I am not allergic to penicillin). Will this help my tooth infection? Can a person become immune to this drug? I have taken it before and it did not seem to help much. ## Did it get rid of your infection before? Pentrexyl for toothache

I have a bad toothache and it's making my head and ear hurt can I take pentrexyl ## Hello, Ray! How are you? I'm sorry about the tooth ache. Pentrexyl contains Ampicillin, which is an antibiotic, so it can be used to treat dental infections. The FDA classifies it as an antibiotic and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, you need to check with your dentist to make sure that its due to an infection, because taking it, if you don't have one could result in your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. And, if you do have a dental infection, an antibiotic will not resolve whatever underlying issue caused the infection, such as a deep dental cary. That will still need to be corrected, or the infe...

Antibiotics and Infections

I've been having a sore throat for the past few days. The symptoms got worse every day. I started to sneeze, cough, and got a fever. I filled a prescription for some Penicillin called Ampicillina 500 mg per capsule from Mexico. I was instructed to take them every 8 hours, however, 3 pills a day seemed a bit much for me so I took one at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23rd, and then another one 8 hours later. The next dose would have been at 7:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 24th, but I didn't take one till 9:30 a.m.. I forgot to take another 8 hours later, and I remembered this at 10:39 p.m., so I took another dose at 10:39 p.m.. I set an alarm this time but must have slept through it as I didn't wake up until 8:30 a.m., and I took the next dose at 8:39 a.m.. I do feel worse today, howeve...
