Hello, Stephanie! How are you feeling?

Ampicillin can be used to treat a uti, usually one 500mg tablet every 6 hours for 10 days. It can cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Learn more Ampicillin details here.

However, you do need to see a doctor to make sure that it is an infection and that you get the correct antibiotic to take. If you take an antibiotic and there actually isn't an infection present, it can cause the development of antibiotic resistant bacteria and not all bacterial strains respond to all antibiotics.

Is there anything else I can help with?
