Ampicillin is closely related to amoxicillin, another type of penicillin, and both are used to treat urinary tract infections. I cannot tell you the right dosage, I am not aware of your medical history nor am I a doctor.

I am not sure, I am not a doctor, not do I know your medical history. I would speak to your doctor. He/she will be able to know exactly what kind of medication you need.

Do you have any more questions or information to add? Please post back if you do.
