Vancomycin hydrochloride capsule

I would like to know what vancomycin hydrochloride is for? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? The FDA classifies Vancomycin as an antibiotic that is used to treat or prevent bacterial infections. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Will this med, help with MRSA? I have tried many, but never completely cured. Thank you ## Mrsa never goes away. But the antibiotics for bacteria infection will help keep it in control. ## What are all the medications available for c-diff? I have taken vancomycin 3 times already and I need to try something else. After a week of being off the meds I am sick again.

Used to treat MRSA ## To treat MRSA, Vancomycin or other antibiotics in the same class are used. Other options may include: Flucloxacillin, Erythromycin and Ciprofloxacin. I am not, however, finding any that start with an R. but it is possible that some doctors may use Rocephin, the active ingredient in Ceftriaxone, though it is not listed as being used to treat MRSA. Risks using another antibiotic

I have a very small hole in my back with little drainage,Dr. Put me on these for 30 days.I also had a piccline for a year with vancomycin, put me on doxycycl but had side effects.
