Moxikind Cv 625

i had bad breath problem for last 3 weeks. The odor originates from my throat and sinuses. Dr gave me moxikind cv 625 + monticope + solvin cold + on e antacid capsule. Is the medicine OK for my problem. ## In most cases, when a problem like this is centered on the sinuses and throat, it is because of some type of infection, be it tonsilitis, strep throat or a sinus infection. What your doctor has given you should help, if that is indeed what is causing the problem. Moxikind-CV contains Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid, which is an antibiotic used to treat many different types of infections. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea. Learn more: Monticope contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast, this is an antihistamine commonly used to help with aller...

Amox Clav for my dog

my dog has been prescribed amox/clav as the vet says he has very bad teeth and looks infected, im worried about the side effects on him as he is a 14 and a half year old plus he has heart problem and all things about this product say keep away from animals, has anyone else given there dog this product, i just worry about him so much, ## Okay, the first issue is that for an elderly animal, with a heart problem, a dental infection is far, far more dangerous than any medications used to help clear it up. And when they direct you to keep it away from animals, they mean don't let them get ahold of it and eat the whole package, or let them get ahold of ones that aren't prescribed for them. Just like you would need to keep your medications out of reach of small children. This is a gene...

IS BETAMOX SAFE TO TAKE DURING PREGNANCY? ## Betamox contains the active ingredient Amoxicillin, it is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections. Has your doctor instructed you to use it? If you have an infection that requires treatment, letting it continue out of control would be far more dangerous to both you and the baby. This medication is also not known to cause any problems to the baby in studies. It may, however, cause some side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and skin rash. Learn more: ## i had a miscarage in february this yr,and went to the clinick b4 i lose the baby, dey took bloot tests and my h.i.v status was negative bt they found an infection in blood name syphillis, they gave me the treatment 4 it,bt i gues it diddnt help because aftr the...

Amoxicillin Gum Infection

I have a gum infection. My dentist prescribed Amoxicillin 500 mg, 4 times a day. Would this be considered to be a "normal" dose of the medication? It seems to me to be quite a high dosage, i.e., 2000 mg a day. I just need some guidance on this. ## It can vary, depending on the severity of the infection being treated and thus, can range from 2 to 4 doses daily. And you also have to remember that in this case, where it is a gum infection being treated, you have to eradicate the existing infection and prevent reinfection, since you have to eat every day and expose your gums to further possible contaminants. A higher dosage might cause more severe side effects, such as worsening of the nausea, dizziness and diarrhea that antibiotics can cause. Are there any other questions? You can ...

Medicated ear drops badly burn
1 Reply RSS
I went in with bad ear aches and was obviously told I have ear infections. I was given amoxicillin along with Neomycin and polymyxin b sulfates and hydrocortisone otic solution, usp. It was fine the first two days then the third day and today it burns my right ear very badly. I can't keep it in the 5 min. My left ear still feels no major pain when using. Is this normal?? ## Yes, the FDA does list that as being a possible side effect of this medication, you may also experiencing redness, drainage, and itching. If it is that severe, you might need to consult your doctor about trying a different medication, or sticking with oral antibiotics, it might be that this isn't the right one for you. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

Within 8 hours from taking the Amoxicillin, I become ill every time. The illness is never exactly the same. A year ago, I was stick for a week with flu-like symptoms. My last appointment on June 1, 2011 has caused a lot of discomfort. Within 8 hours of the dental appointment, I began having a severe headache, bloodshot eyes that ached when I moved them. All that night I could not sleep more than a few minutes at a time. My temperature was slightly elevated but I felt as though it would register at least 104. All that day I slept whenever I could and ate nothing--just drank water. I was not hungry and I was not vomiting. The 3rd day I tried to live my norma...

How long until Alphamox (Amoxicillin) is out of my system?
1 Reply RSS
I've taken nine 500mg tablets of Alphamox (3 times a day for 3 days). I would like to know how long it will take for it to completely leave my system now that I have stopped taking it? This is because I need to take a new medication but can't until Alphamox is out of my system as it won't work with the Alphamox. (The new medication is Fluconazole 150mg). ## Hi Jenna, according to this site's half life calculator a dose of Amoxicillin would be metabolized in about 17 hours. Keep in mind that this is just an estimate and does not factor in that you have taken multiple doses. I'd give it a full 24 hours to be safe, and I would also double check with the pharmacist since they could inform you of possible interactions after that period of time. Also, antibiotics can conti...

Amoxicillin Dosage

I have 500mg Amoxicillin capsules for an ear infection and they are pink and blue. Last time I had an ear infection the capsules were red and yellow. I'm wondering if these were a different dosage, its been a few years but I believe they were slightly smaller. I'm hoping the ones I have now are a higher dose because it took a 4 week course to clear it up last time, and now I have a 2 month old daughter and have to stick cotton balls in my ears when she cries or I black out for a second from the pain. Last time my ear drum ruptured, I'm really hoping I've caught this early enough to prevent that happening because that kind of pain was atleast 100x worse than labor. ## Based on the colors which you are describing for the capsules it sounds like you have the Amoxil brand of...

The FDA classifies this mediation as being an antibiotic and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. As to when you should see an improvement, there's really no way to say. Diverticulitis can be very tricky to treat and may not respond to the initial course of antibiotics. In december I developed bad tooth pain and a sore on the gum in a left molar. I have a heart murmer and my blood press.rose to a high level but was erratic and other times a normal rate. I called a dentist and he said to go to the ER. I did and they prescribed amoxicillin at 500mgs every 8 hrs. The last dose was on Jan 3, 2013 and by then the tooth problem was gone. I went to a dentist and he found no infections but said a molar on the opposite side which had lost some filling should be repaired soon. I made an appt. with him, but in the meantime it developed a blister near the root and soreness at the gumline. Also I started having erratic BP swings again sometimes 160/105 and resting pulse to 88. When I called he said to cancel his appt and go to the ER again, he didn't think the ...

Teva Amoxicillin What Does It Treat

I have a brand new prescription of teva-amoxicillin. I had a gum infection - within two pills the pain was gone and I have this bottle full.. I now have a temperature with which I believe is due to a chest infection. Will this medication help? ## Amoxicillin is an antibiotic, which can be used to treat many different type of infections. However, you should finish the full course of the medication, as prescribed, even if you start to feel better, before you have finished. The pain may have went away, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the infection cleared up. Thus, you could be sick now, because it was never fully treated and has now spread to other parts of your body. In addition, only taking part of the prescription for an antibiotic creates the very real risk of developing an...
