fluxocillin side effects

My 19 month old son has had osteomyelitis in his left hip and he has been on IV Fluxocillin for 7weeks and on oral Keflex 250mg four times daily for 6weeks. Iam worried that such doses might leave his immune system exposed. Does anyone haeve any suggestion as to how to rebuild his immune system after the course of antibiotics. ## At this time he would be at far greater risk if he didn't have the antibiotics. The typical side effects of Flucloxacillin, and Keflex, may include nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. As to rebuilding his immune system, he may benefit from some probiotics, though you should check with his doctor, before giving him anything, to make sure it is safe.
