Emgality Reviews

Has anyone tried this medication called Emgality? ## It’s really weird that since 2019 nobody has come to this website to post anything about Emgality? I have a hard time believing that considering all the bad reviews out there. Is the Emgality manufacturer paying to keep these terrible side effects off this site? This is really upsetting as I’ve used and trusted this website for five years at least, it’s bad enough they’re paying the neurologist to tell people there are zero side effects FYI, if a medical professional tells you there are zero side effects you need to run from whatever medication they are trying to give you because that’s the biggest lie ever. Need to know side effects of Fiorinal

I think I am having some rare side effects from Fiorinal BUT/ASA/CAFF, it seems to slightly ease my tension headaches but for some reason, everytime I take just one, I get severe pain in my spine. Has anyone had this happen to them or heard of such a thing? ## Danielle, I live in Ft Worth, Tx. My brother-in-law just started taking fiorinal along with other meds such as nexium. Have you had any side effects or heard from others who have? I would greatly appreciate any info you can share with me. If you don't mind sharing your phone, I have service where I can call long distance at no additional charge to either of us. Thank you very much, Billy Shewmaker ## Fiorinal has been known to cause back pain, and joint/muscle pain as side effects, along with nausea, and dizziness. Ref: Fiorin...

Stiff neck and bad headache above right eye

52 year old male. Never diagnosed with Covid. For a week I've been extremely fatigued in the morning accompanied with terrible pain, stiffness, and the worst headache pain I've ever had above my right eye. Extremely fatigued until the pain lessens. Happens twice at about 2 am and 10 am, lasts about an hour then slowly the pain is gone. But these actions repeated the following day at 3pm and 6pm. Fine now on the third day. Any ideas? Sound familiar? ## What you are describing sounds very much like a cluster headache. I would certainly go in for a check-up. "Cluster headaches, which occur in cyclical patterns or cluster periods, are one of the most painful types of headache. A cluster headache commonly awakens you in the middle of the night with intense pain in or around one e...

Need Dr. in KY for Fioricet prescription

I live in the Richmond Ky area. Just moved here a few years ago and since I cannot get fioricet online anymore for my headaches and fibromyalgia pain, am having extreme trouble finding a dr willing to prescribe. Does anyone have a dr willing to prescribe it anywhere in the Lexington, Richmond or Irvine area? I have no life dealing with the pain without them. ## Hello, SuzyQ! How are you? Well, it does contain the barbiturate Butalbital, which has sometimes been abused, so this medication is usually only prescribed as a last resort, when other options have failed. Additionally, if you go to a doctor and ask for a specific medication, they are taught to see that as being drug seeking behavior, so they will always be very reluctant to prescribe it. This medication may cause side effects, s...

Fioricet going off the market?

My doctor just told me that they are no longer going to produce this medication? Even the generic!? Is this true? Has anyone heard anything?? I have not been able to find any information on this. ## -325-40... My doctor said that this medication is being discontinued... Does anyone know anything? ## No it's not being discontinued. Absolutely not that I know of ## Just to add, I have not seen any official announcements from the FDA or manufacturer of Fioricet suggesting that it might be discontinued. That said, I'd really start questioning your doctor's motives for telling you it was being pulled off the shelves. Maybe s/he just didn't want to write for it anymore and that was their passive way of getting let off the hook, so to speak? Nevertheless, it sounds like a new d...

Please answer? ## It is normal for your body to get used to a medication, when you've been taking it for awhile, and for you to eventually need a dosage adjustment, or a switch to a different medication, and your doctor is aware of this informati...

Current laws for narcotic use in North Carolina

I have chronic leg pain and suffer from severe daily migraines. I use narcotic meds to treat both and see my primary care provider monthly to follow up. I am getting ready to undergo surgery with a specialist and will require a narcotic not as strong to help me get through for a few days. Can I legally get this filled in North Carolina with the new laws? ## The best person to ask is probably your regular pharmacist. They are used to answering such questions for customers, so there shouldn't be a problem if you speak to them in person to ask. Most state controlled substance laws do contain special exception rules to allow for issues like this, which would be a temporary dosage adjustment, but your pharmacist will be able to provide you with more specific details relevant to NC. The F...
