Acetaminophen Overview

Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is a medication used to treat fever and mild to moderate pain.[11][12] At a standard dose, paracetamol only slightly decreases body temperature;[11][13][14] it is inferior to ibuprofen in that respect,[15] and the benefits of its use for fever are unclear.[11][16][17] Paracetamol significantly relieves pain in...

L5B3 Identified

I have a bottle of this, L5B3 and yes, I am Canadian. It is "Life" brand 650mg extended relief tablets of Acetaminophen for Arthritis Pain ## I am also from Canada and those pills L5B3 white oblong pills are as described. They are from Shoppers Drug Mart ## Does the L5B3 pill have codeine in it? ## Kirkland brand from Costco. Acetaminophen Arthritis Pain 650mg Extended-release up to 8 hour. Has L5B3 on it. ## So are they the same as tylenol 1? ## Are you asking if this has codeine in it? If so, then based on what Geri and Sylvain have described, it doesn't sound like it. Sounds like the only active ingredient is Acetaminophen 650mg.

Edrisol or edrisal

Used to take for cramps. What was it? ## Is this still on the market? I used to take it for cramps ## Hello, Mel and Sandy! How are you both? Edrisal contained the active ingredient Phenacetin, however, it was banned by the FDA in 1983 due to the increased risk it caused of kidney failure and certain types of cancer. It is actually metabolized into Acetaminophen(Tylenol) so that is what it was replaced with in over the counter medications. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I wish they would research this some more and make any necessary changes. It really worked great for cramps. I don't know about you but it gave me a very euphoric feeling and feeling of well-being, but I never took more than absolutely needed. ## I took it also, back in the 60’s. It made me VERY ALE...

Oblong white pill TCL 350

I'm trying to figure out what this pill is. The color is actually white and speckled baby blue. It is oblong and has the imprint "TCL 350" on it. I've searched everywhere and I cant find the answer. ## The oblong pill with TCL -350 is a over the counter,Night time sleep aid. Called Jet-Asleep. Recommended. For children over age of 12 and adults. ## It seems to be a nighttime allergy pill. I found one behind my nightstand, and did the same search. (NDC 41250-266 among others). ## it's a "Jet Asleep" sleeping pill, made by the company that makes "Jet Awake" caffeine pills. It's the equivalent of a Unisom or a Tylenol PM without the Tylenol. ## Hello Everyone. The pill that you are asking about is called Jet Asleep and I buy it at the Dollar General ...

Difference between yellow hydrocodone acetaminophen with 1096 vs white pill same strength but u03. Both say sub for norco.

Just want to know difference between both pills, beside Manufacturers. I was taking Hydocodone-Acetaminophen 10-325 yellow pill #1096 on one side a V on other side. I was then switched to a white oval pill with the same strength, but has U03 on one side. both say substituted for Norco. ## Hello, Chula! How are you? That is the only difference. When a medication is available for generic production, it is usually manufactured by several different companies, because this creates market competition to help keep prices down. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Even though both are ge...

dark green pill no markings

It's a triangular dark green pill with absolutely no markings; 3 sided. I found them in a script bottle in the parking lot at work. Please help. ## I was trying to Google the same thing. Fiance bought equate acetaminophen and seal was broken already. Only 1 of these in the jar. ## I came across reports of dark green triangular pills being sold as "xtc", whilst actually containing Dextromethorphan (DXM), which is a cough suppressant with sedative-like properties. Apparently, these unmarked green triangle pills have been found throughout the US and UK - however, my take is that the only way to know for certain what this contains would be to have its contents analyzed by a lab. Have either of you found any additional information on these since the timing of your post? ## Trying...

Kirkland extra strength muscle joint pain

Just bought Kirkland acetaminophen & methocarbamol combo bottle. However it now has a 094 on one side of the pill. It never had any imprint before. Is this a change or a mistake? ## Gary, I haven't been able to verify the 094 imprint on the tablet. Is this an over the counter product from the US? I didn't know that Costco has a tablet with methocarbamol in it, their website doesn't list it. ## Yes OTC in Canada Costco. I sent an email to the company to inquire - should hear back on Monday - will let you know what they say. ## Ah ok, that explains it. I'd be interested to know what you hear back. They really need to loosen up out here in the US. I'm sure those tablets work great. Thanks! ## My doctor prescribed me Methocarbamol for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. It did ...

Winadeine F

Round White Pill Gc 101

Found these pills outside on the sidewalk. What are they? ## These are Acetaminophen (generic Tylenol) 325mg. Manufacturer is not listed on the label. The distributor is Geri-Care Pharmaceuticals Corp,1650 - 63rd St., Brooklyn NY 11204. (GC=GeriCare) NDC is 57896-102. Inactive Ingredients: - Povidone - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato - Starch, Corn -Stearic Acid - Crospovidone - Methylparaben - Propylparaben Source: DailyMed ## I've tried looking for these for a few days now, since first seeing your post, but I am just not finding them listed anywhere. My biggest suspicion is that they are something that's available over the counter, which would explain their not being listed in any of the prescription drug databases that I checked. Does anyone else recognize these?

Oblong blue pill tcl 350

Actually I believe they are JetAsleep brand sleeping pills with acetaminophen (350mg) and diphenhydramine(50mg). They are made by the same company as JetAwake, so the previous commenter was understandably mistaken by thinking that these also contain caffeine. ## Based on the inscription of TCL 350 and the color blue, it appears to be an over the counter allergy tablet containing Diphenhydramine 50 mg (NDC 42507-066 among others). Inactive ingredients: - Silicon Dioxide - Croscarmellose Sodium - Calcium Phosphate, Dibasic, Dihydrate - FD&C Blue No. 1 - Hypromelloses - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Mineral Oil - Stearic Acid - Aluminum Oxide ## While I haven't been able to verify any alleged findings in my investigation, I do have a hunch that the manufacturer...
