Hi, Just thought I'd let everyone know the best thing to take for migraines.. I'm currently on the bupap 50 mlg and they do work BUT if u want something very effective without all the acetaminophen in it try IMMITREX. It works wonders . When I was on it, I only had to take one and I have headaches everyday and migraines often. Hope this helps . -Bri ## I've taken every medication under the sun for my migraines. Maxaly always used to do the trick until it just stopped working. My MD loaded me with topamax, verapimrl, despite etc. I did the in house treatment of the DHE infusion. Botox. You name it. Had my deviated septum fixed and that stopped them for quite some time!!! I now take indomethacin (diff dises) as well as my imitrex injection for my thigh but it doesn't seem ...

I never took bupap before but my drug test showed bupap in my system. What other drugs might show up as bupap? Would trazodone show up as something similar? ## I was told that my trazadone shows up as similar or the same as suboxone so I was wondering if this is true or not, I went and paid for an independent drug screen and it showed negative for any drugs two days later, does this mean it was a faulty test or perhaps that someone tampered with the original drug test? ## I had a drug test yesterday and they said I was positive for THC, meth, and suboxone The meds I take are....trazadone, clonidine, atterall, baclofen, Paxil, and levothyroxin I have never taken suboxone in my life, I looked up that ibuprofen can cause a false positive for THC and my atterall comes up as meth....I can...

If I have to take a drug test for a job at FedEx and I have taken my prescribed medicine "Buap 50-650mg Tab. Will it make me fail if I have taken 4 to many pills in a week. I am prescibed to take 1 every 6 hrs. In the last two days before the test I have taken 4 extra pills. Do you think I will fail my urine drug test Thanks ## Hi dianetoou, I think you should be fine since this is your prescription and not someone else's. All you should have to do is present the company with your prescription prior to the drug test and you wont be held accountable for having it show up in your system. It would also take a more sophisticated drug test to determine the precise levels of the medication in your urine. Many places don't do this because of cost, but never-the-less I wouldn't ...

Has Bupap been discontinued and, if so, what replaces this med? It has helped my headaches tremendously with minimal side effects. ## Hello, Jacci! How are you? No, I didn't find anything about it being discontinued or there being a shortage. Did you check with your pharmacy? They may know more. There were actually several on the market that all contained Butalbital and Acetaminophen, so your doctor should be able to prescribe one of the others, if this one is no longer being manufactured. Side effects to this medication may include dizziness, nausea, sedation and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can Bupap tabs help with lortab 7.5 withdrawal symptoms. Been taking up to 6 lortab 7.5 daily for about year. Ready to stop. ## Hi Margaret, I have read some reports of people using Bupap (Butalbital) to assist with opiate/narcotic withdrawal. Some say it helps, some say it doesn't. When it comes to withdrawal, it is most important that you seek the advice of a medical professional so that they can help you taper off your medication and go through the withdrawal process as safely as possible. In addition, staying hydrated, exercising (being active in some way), and eating a clean diet can certainly aid your body in detoxing faster by helping to flush your lymphatic system of all the unnecessary toxins. I hope this helps, good luck to you!

It's a light blue oblong tablet, for pain/Scored240 on one side cant read other side ## Yes the pill you have is Bupap, which contains Acetaminophen 650 mg + Butalbital 50 mg. The imprint you most likely have is 59010 | 240, a picture can be seen here. ## Just to confirm, The closest match I have found is also Bupap- with (50 mg) Butalbital and (650 mg) of Acetaminophen. It is a light blue oval pill with the same imprint that Abe noted- 59010 | 240. To view an image of the pill I found click here. Butalbital and acetaminophen combination is a pain reliever and relaxant. It is used to treat tension headaches. Butalbital belongs to the group of medicines called barbiturates. Barbiturates act in the central nervous system (CNS) to produce their effects. You can learn more about this dr...
