I take Ergotamine for headaches. I get my meds thru Medco. My insurance pays most of the cost for generics. Last time Medco said they didn't have Ergotamine in stock (first time that has ever happened over the years.) They said they would need to send me Cafergot, the brand name. It costs me 10 times more. I need to know why I can not get Ergotamine.?? ## Same problem with caffergot or its generic ergotan/caff. Wally World used to charge $5 for a generic. Now they say they cannot get a generic. Where Can I Buy Ergotamine Caffeine

I have suffered from migranes for so many years. The only medication that worked has been ergotamine-caffeine. I know that some pharmacies still have it in stock. Where can I buy it? I have a prescription from my doctor. Thanks a lot! ## Hi cara, As far as finding a local pharmacy to fill your prescription, I listed below a "pharmacy-locator site", that uses your zip code to find nearby pharmacies within a given mile range: Phone numbers and addresses are included in the list after you verify your zip code; I would suggest calling a number of them to see who may be able to fill your prescription. You may have to consider looking into online pharmacies as a last resort if you can't get it filled locally. Please post back if you need any informati...
