Just received new script 240mgs twice a day. Original script was 200mgs twice day. Is 240mgs twice a day safe? ## Hello, Scared One! How are you? There is really no upper limit, when it comes to narcotics for pain management. It depends on the person, their pain levels and their tolerance to the relevant medication. For instance, when someone is suffering severe intractable pain from cancer and are nearing the end, studies have proven that high levels of narcotics to make them comfortable do not hasten death and greatly improve their remaining lifespan. Did you doctor mention raising your dosage?

how to use duxil; before the food or after the food; inter-action with the food or medication ## Duxil contains the active ingredient Almitrine, it used to treat respiratory conditions. As to your questions, I am sorry, but this medication isn't approved and used in the U.S., so the information we have on it is limited and I cannot locate any of those details. Have you tried asking your doctor or chemist? Even the few information pages I have found list these details as being unavailable.

can a 72 year old woman with diabetes take 3 capsules @500 mg Tylenol at one time if total of 8 capsules a day are not exceeded ## Yes, the worst it might do is upset your stomach or make you a little drowsy. Many people have prescriptions for Ibuprofen which range in dosages from 600mgs each tablet and up. I am currently only 800mgs Prescription Ibu and usually take two tablets at once, so total of 1600mgs. ## Betty: Why would you want to do this. First, speak with your health care providers. Then, follow proper dosing directions. Diabetics must be very careful regarding all substance intake due to hiddent sugars, carbs, etc. Remember, tylenol contains acetaminphen which can cause liver damage in excess. You should have taken it as soon as you remembered. This isn't really as touchy as an antibiotic, since it's an antifungal, so the spacing of the dosages doesn't have to be exact . I just got my brothers autopsy report back and it says he died from overdose of Fentanyl and Methone . It says no alcohol. Methone amount was.05 fentanyl was .19 is that enough for someone to die? ## I am so very sorry for your loss. There's no specific range that can be given to answer your question. It depends on the person, their age, weight, overall health and their tolerance to narcotics. Some people can take quite a lot and not have a problem, while other may overdose at much lower doses. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic opiates, so there is a risk of them being habit forming and abused. Their typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Did he have any medical conditions?
