taking morphine after norco

Im in a lot of pain. I have norco 5-325 that was giving to me from one doctor. Now another doctor wants me in morphine 15mg er. It took forever to get the morphine today so i took the norco to calm some pain down. Is it safe to take the morphine now that it has been 2 hours after taking the norco? ## It should be, as long as your doctor approves, but you may experience more intense side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Wait 8 to 20 hours. If you want the full effect it's 30 hours.

I've been taking 240mg of morphine per day for many years. I took one suboxone strip monday then went back to the morphine. Will the suboxone strip show on a urine screen on wednesday along with the morphine? Or should I be ok? ## What was the dosage of the Suboxone? morphine i.r. compared to norco 10/325

for the last 7 years I have been on Norco 10's got to the point I was taking 12 to 15 a day, it got to the point that they stopped working for me so my dr. put me on morphine er 15mg 3x a day with 30mg instant release 4x a day im new to morphine but have a very high tolerance to opiots, im just wondering if I made a good switch. I remember when the Norco made me feel great but I have yet to take two 30mg i.r. at once to see if that was a pleasant feeling, anyone have some helpful advice in this area? thanks ## Hello, Charles! How are you? The reason you aren't getting that same effect from the Morphine is because it's time released. The Norco was released all at once within 15 to 20 minutes of taking it, but the Morphine is slowly released into your body over a period of abo...

what is a little round white pill with a line down the middle on one side and S4 over 733 on the other side

I was told this was a form of morphine for pain but I am not having any luck finding it on the internet. ## The pill you have is Morphine (15 mg). The S4 is actually 54, which can be misleading on many pills. You can view a more detailed description of Morphine, by clicking on the link below... If you have any more questions or comments to add, please post back so I can further assist you. ## Are the morphine 15 mg addicting and are they dangerous if consuming 3 at a time ? ## I would have to say yes positively. ## Yes Morphine is highly addictive. 45mg of Morphine Sulphate is not really a high dose. If you've never taken opioid pain killers before it will be enough to make you very loopy and possibly sick to your stomach. It is important to understand that the bioavailability of th...

New pain medication laws dictating to doctors that they cannot prescribe anything equivalent 120 mg of morphine or higher a day per patient

I was told Friday by my Pain Management Doctor at my monthly appointment that the DEA was implementing a new law dictating to doctors on how much pain medication they could prescribe per patient per day. It could be equal to no more than 120 mg of Morphine per day per patient and they had to comply within 3 months for all of their patients. I am trying to find out as much information on this as possible. I don't know if my Pain Management Doctor is stating fact or if he is just running scared and if he is stating fact, I don't know if this is federal or state (Alabama) mandated. I spoke directly with the Southeastern division of the DEA in Atlanta this morning and they are not aware of any law of this nature coming into effect and I also contacted another pain clinic locally tha...

Morphine Sulfate - unable to find pharmacy to fill Rx

Have had a Morphine Sulfate 30mg Rx from my Doc in Orlando since moving to Sarasota / Lakewood Ranch area Jan 30. NO CVS, NO Walmart has had this med. All say it is out of stock or haven't carried it for a long time. The Rx expires after 6 months. Please can you help give info to explain why pharmacies here don't have a medicine for my chronic condition? Orlando is 2.5+ hours away...too far for my spouse to go for an Rx.. Thank you. We are confused. ## It is most likely due to the fact that the prescribing doctor is in Orlando and you're trying to get it filled in a different area. Learn more Morphine details here. There have been a lot of problems on the east coast, due to improper filling, improper or over prescribing, pharmacies stocking and filling more than they are all...

round orange pill N60

I have a bright round orange pill that has N60 on one side and nothing on the other side. Anyone know what it is? Could it be Morphine or a heart related pill? ## Morphine extended release. Not really any recreational value . But can be helpful if you truly need it ## The 60mg extended release Morphine with NDC 68382-0905 that matches this description is oval and white. It is an opiate narcotic that carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. They are manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals However, they are not round and orange. The markings are also on opposite sides of the pill. TomCat, I haven't been able to find anything that matches your description. Can you please double check the markings...

Alcohol And 15mg Morphine

If I've drank a substantial amount of alcohol and have taken one 15mg pill of Morphine Sulphate, how dangerous is it? ## Hello, The combination of alcohol and morphine is extremely dangerous, NO amount of alcohol is safe with morphine. Both alcohol and morphine depress the Central Nervous System, and the combination can be fatal. Call your doctor or seek emergency medical attention at once if you have symptoms of extreme drowsiness, pinpoint pupils, confusion, cold and clammy skin, weak pulse, shallow breathing, fainting, or breathing that stops. I hope this helps! ## What can happen when taking ABG 15 (Morphine sulphate ER 15 mg) while drinking? I live in ft. myers fl. I have legit script for roxi 30...150 and morphine sulfate 30mg...30-count. Who can mail to my home? I'm barely able to get to the doc each month. I have medicaid, but will pay cash 3$ or less... Light Blue Oblong Pill C25

I've found a light blue, oblong, fairly large (approx 20mm wide) pill. C25 embossed on one side, and a line dividing it in two on the other side. ## what is a blue tablet c25 indicated for ## Yeah I'm having trouble finding a definite match on this one as well. Can you tell me what country you are from? That might help to narrow some things down. For example, usually tablets within the USA are easier to pin down because their markings are regulated. There is also a chance that this one could either be a really new marking, an over the counter product, or a prescription med outside the USA. Are there any other details which you could share? Packaging? Manufacturer? ## i am in south africa ## Hi Roy, I'm in south africa. And don't have the packaging as it was left in my lo...

allergic reaction to morphine

I took to 15 mg 24 extended release morphine pills and slowly ot started making me feel sick and after about 8 hours it made me throw up. This morning I woke up and I still felt the effects of it but not as bad as yesterday. But the thing that worries me is I this morning I felt my neck and I had about two lumps on it and now I feel like I have a third coming up. Is it an allergic reaction and if so will it go away? ## Where are the lumps located? If they are due to swollen glands, that could be due to an allergic reaction, but you should have it checked out by your doctor to be sure. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications? ##...

Morphine Sulfate 30mg E653

How different is Morphine Sulfate 30mg E 653 from a 30mg perocet, and is it dangerous to take it like its a percocet or vicodin, is it ok to take in severe cases of plantars fasciitis ## There is no 30mg Percocet, so I assume you're talking about a regular release Oxycodone tablet, whereas Percocet would contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. As to a comparison, Oxycodone is actually one and half times stronger than Morphine, so it would take 45mgs of Morphine to equal 30mgs of the Oxcycodone, so you may not get as much pain relief, as you would from the Oxycodone. It is a narcotic, so yes, it can be dangerous to take, just like all of them are and it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, constipation and dia...

How strong is a 15 mg ER morphine vs 30mg oxycodone

I was taking 30mg oxycodone and the doctor switched to 15 mg Morphine ER and 15mg oxycodone and the pain is the worst it's been in the last 8 months. Am i going crazy or is it possible that the morphine does nothing for me. And if so I can't see the doctor for another 7 days ## 15mg er morphine is the least amount available in the er class of pain meds, er stands for extended release, this means that basically you are receiving 15 mg per 6 hrs, over a 12 hr period. and obviously you receive half of the dose you were getting with oxycodone. long story short, you Dr.isn't doing you any favors, only reducing your pain meds and increasing your pain!, 15 mg er morph doesn't do much at all! ## Morphine when taken by mouth is super weak. I am suprised you didnt have some feelin...

Morphine Sulfate ER 15 mg nausea

Has anyone out there taken this drug twice a day and had persistent nausea??? I thought I'd adjust to the nausea, but it's persistent. Anyone got any advice for me to help with this persistent nausea.? I'm also weak and sleepy. ## Hello Betty, According to the [1] NIH, nausea and vomiting is the most common side effect of this medication, greater than 10% of users who administered this medication experienced these adverse reactions. Good news is other users who have taken this medication say that it gets better with time, but the bad news is I couldn't find any medical documentation that states how long on average this time frame is. I feel like if you have these symptoms so often that it's become a problem for your way of life it would be best to discuss it with you...
