What does the letter c indicate at the beginning of an RC number ## It may be an initial for the manufacturer, which could translate into any number of pharmaceutical companies that start with a C. Unfortunately without seeing the entire label first hand, I think all anyone can do is guesstimate what it truly stands for. Whereabouts did you get your prescription filled? CVS or Rite Aid? If you ever get an opportunity to ask the pharmacy that gave it to you, kindly post back here with any updates, so we can all figure this riddle out...

There was only DICODID made by knoll in Germany but it was withdrawn last year. Only Hydrocodone now available is ZOHYDRO SR in the USA. It is also made in combination with high amounts of acetaminophen, usually 325, 500 or 650mg, one goes as high as 750mg! But there is legislation coming into force limiting any dosage unit of acetaminophen (paracetamol) in the USA (where 100% of the entire world's Hydrocodone is now used since the deletion of DICODID) to 300mg. Abbott have already issued their new 10/300mg pill. But I am afraid that Hydrocodone as a single drug now is only available as an SR med under that ZOHYDRO brand. If required then would have to be crushed finely to defeat the ridiculous slow release mechanism which means you can no longer get the benefit of the drug to the e...

My Dr doesn't want to treat my chronic pain cause she says it's untreatable...? Here's what she's done in the meantime, she prescribed 10mg max 3 per day of Morphine sulfate and she thinks that's a high dose, which does nothing for me. I've had my right knee replacement done 3yrs ago and my left knee being scheduled this fall. The pain is unbelievably awful. Pain is shooting from my knee up into my thigh and lower back. I've had over twenty surgeries so far in other areas of my body including amputations. The new doctors won't help people in pain anymore. Ridiculous. ## Hello, Joey! How are you? Have you tried seeing if you can consult a different doctor? Someone else might help more. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has t...

Hello, I have been on Oxycodone for two and a half years. I take 80 mgs for a bad back and recent gall bladder surgery that went horrible. Because I have such a high tolorance for the Oxycodone. I now get no feeling and it is starting not to work. What can I do to rid my body of this medication so that I can bring the work part of it back and the euphoria as well! ## The only way to really do that would be to stop taking it for a period of time, which may mean several months, or longer, since you have been taking it for such a long time. You should also be informed that the feeling of euphoria has nothing to do with whether or not the medication is working for you. That is just a side effect and it is completely normal for it to wear off, as your body gets used to the medication. Have y...

I was placed on coveram 10/10, but can't always afford it, can I use phaemapress 10 my in the meantime, until I can afford it again, , couple off years ago, I used a different high blood pressure tablet, with ridaq and something to prevent gout ( can't remember those names), what is your suggestion, for me to do ## I would suggest speaking to your doctor to ask them about prescribing a more affordable option. They shouldn't have a problem doing so, especially since having you on one medication consistently is better than having you switching regularly due to high prices. Typical side effects of medications for high blood pressure may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Are you on any other medications?

its happening everywhere! the new ridiculous legislation by the gov of the state of ohio is beyond overzealous and its tying the hands of pain mgt MD's to the point that the doctors are simply dumping the discipline altogether. meanwhile patients are being kicked to the curb being told to find new pain mgt doctors within 30-60days? i walked into my doctor recently and the front desk clerk says hey did u know that oxycodone 30mg tabs go for 30.00 on the street? i said i was not awhere no? she said well the doctor is discontinuing patients who are on pain meds and sending them away as hes washed his hands of pain mgt altogether? sure enough i met w the doctor who explained he has resigned and hes opening his own practice w out pain patients what! basically he was forced too leave and ...

How long does it come out of your system ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? Did you mean Progesterone? And if so, what type, pills, an IUD, contraceptive shot, or some other type? It is a hormone that is naturally present in your body, so you are never entirely rid of it. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and weight gain.

I have a bacterial pink eye infection. can i use this to get rid of it? if so what is the dosage? ## Hi melinda, Pota-Vi-Kin is a foreign brand name of Penicillin. I'm not sure what dosage of it you have there, but pink eye is almost always viral in origin; meaning that antibiotics won't have any effect on it anyways, since they are only good for bacterial infections and not viruses. (So only if you had a really rare pink eye from susceptible bacteria would this be effective). Have you tried any natural remedies or other medications yet?

I'm supposed to be taking two doses of 100mg of doxy twice a day for ten days for upper respiratory infection. On my third day, but have only taken it once a day due to forgetting to take my second pill each day. Does this mean that I won't get rid of the infection because I'm not taking it right? Is the one a day ok taking even going to benefit me? Should I still continue the next 7 days and try not to forget taking it twice? ## The medication does need to be maintained in your body at a consistent level to fully eradicated the infection. I have a cough with yellow phlegm. Will xorimax 250 help? I just want to get rid of the yellow phlegm. Is it safe for me to take it? ## Hello, Joan! How are you? Has there been any change? This medication is an antibiotic that is used to treat or prevent various types of bacterial infections. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. However, yellow phlegm does not always mean that an infection is present, according to the NIH, although it was thought to be true for many, many years. It has been discovered in more modern times that it may just mean your body is fighting off a cold, or other issue. Thus, you should not take an antibiotic, unless your doctor confirms the presence of an infection.

This drug has made me nauseate and black out unconsciously after three hours of taking the drug to treat my headache. Unfortunately also it did not rid of my headache. Im going back to Advil. ## Hello, Nikki! How are you? Do you mean you actually passed out, or that it just made you drowsy and you had to lay down to sleep? If it actually made you pass out, then you need to seek medical attention to have the issue checked out. Was it prescribed to treat your headaches? This isn't one that's normally used for them. ## Tramadol for headache?? That's something new I am getting to hear because as per my knowledge tramadol is very effective for all types of acute and chronic physical pains but that doesn't include headache. I take Potassium Citrate. I always had the off white large tablet. Today I received these dark blue Andrx 560 capsules that are ridiculously large. I don't think a horse could swallow this one. I am taking them back to the pharmacy to get the other brand I always had. We do not have to accept what they give us. ## You should be aware that your pharmacy is not obligated to take those back from you and replace them. If they do, it is strictly something they are doing as a courtesy. Once the pills are in your hands, they have no way of knowing if they have been tampered with and, even if they do replace them, they would have to dispose of the ones you have returned. This also means that you may be charged for the new prescription. In the future I recommend checking all medications at t...

I live with my sister and her 5 year old son who is like my own. I have been with him since he was 1. She was seeing a therapist that I will call John. One would listen to her and the other would prescribe the meds. Anyway they all of a sudden put her on 200 MG's of LTD. This was over two years ago. It has been a strange ride since then. I'll try and keep it short but let's just say that we figured out what the problem was. She goes through a viscous cycle every month. She literally stays up for a week and becomes severely depressed the rest of the month. She says she doesn't like the way they make her feel but I don't know what to believe anymore. She is not very honest with me these days. She Is very mean and doesn't seem to really care about anything unless it...
