What are similar drugs to Hydrochlorothiazide? ## Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic, it works by reducing the amount of fluid in the body. There are several others on the market, such as Furosemide, which is the active ingredient in Lasix. ## Bumetanide. It's a round white pill with a line down the middle. It is to reduce fluid. I take this for my kidneys. Certain foods make me retain fluid and this works immediately. Makes you pee a lot but it works. If you need the exact numbers or mg I can give you the one I take.

These pills were given to me as Furosemide but when I searched for A328 they show as thyroid tablets. Been taking them for almost three months now. What are they? ## The "R and moon crescent" that you listed in title sounds like the actavis logo. Can you confirm that the logo is on your pills? Also, were these dispensed by a pharmacy in the United States, or are they from a different country? ## Yes. The logo is on one side and the A328 on the other. Walgreens ## Does it look like this? The closest possibility that I've found along these lines is the same as what you're saying - a thyroid pill containing Methimazole 5 mg. The only thing is that it's not reported to have the R and Logo on the back side, but based on the fact that it was manufactured by Actavis Totowa...

However, the FDA, does warn that it can cause some nausea due to its potency, so it should be taken with food. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I just received my mail order pharmacy prescription for potassium cl sr mc tb 20meq (and furosemide tab 20mg). 2 of the pot chlor pills are broken. My Furosemide dose continues at three 20mg pills twice a day, but a change occurred with the manufacturer. It was Westward (54 840) and now it's Solco Health (V 3169). My daytime blood pressure is now dropping. Is there any correlation between this and the differences in pills? Both are 20mg tablets. ## How low is it dropping? Have you made any other changes to your diet, or lifestyle? Sometimes, as ones blood pressure gets lower, medication doses need to be lowered to keep it from going too low. Are you also making sure that you are staying hydrated? Furosemide works by removing excess fluid from the body, and if you become dehydrated, that will also cause your blood pressure to drop. Other side effects may include dizziness, headache, and increased urination.

My mother will be 90 years old in August 2019. She was prescribed Furosemide 40mg, 2 tablets in the morning and 1 tablet at 2pm. (prescribed after cardiac failure) She also drinks 1x Ridaq 12.5mg each morning after breakfast. Other medication is Isosorbide Dinitrate 10, 1 tablet 3x per day. She drinks +- 1.5lt water pd. She's complaining of having to get to the toilet 4/5x during night +- once every 30-45 during the day. Could the Furosemide and Ridaq dosages too much for her. Thank you ## That is a normal side effect of both Furosemide and the Hydrochlorothiazide in the Ridaq, they are both intended to remove excess fluid from her body to help prevent future congestive heart failure, they can also help to lower high blood pressure. She should make sure her doctor is aware of how of...

pale yellow small round pill with M2 on one side ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I could find is identified as Furosemide 20 mg; which has M2 imprinted on one side and blank on the other. The only difference is that this particular pill is "off-white" and not yellow. I noticed however that you described it as a "pale" yellow, so I can only speculate that this could still be a viable match. Manufacturer: Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00378-0208 For verification, you can also compare the size of your pill to this one, which happens to be 6.00 mm You can learn more about this drug on the page for Furosemide Details I hope this helps! ## What is a yellow pill with M2 on one side and a M on the other side?
