my periods are irregular it takes 35/36 days it causes fear and anxiety in me please suggest me a tablet for getting my periods regularly with out any side affects ## If you're for something that doesn't have the side effects of prescription drugs, then the best thing I can recommend trying is Clary Sage Essential Oil. Clary sage is loaded with natural chemicals that the human body can easily modify to produce hormones. It supports hormone balance and for many women it relieves menstrual pain, PMS, and soreness as well as regulating timing and flow of otherwise irregular periods. You can read more about here: victoria-anisman-reiner.suite101.com/menstrual-cramps-a29684 NOTE: Clary sage can also help with any anxiety as well :) I hope this helps! ## i had irregular periods. Hi. I'm 19 yrs old and just started my period today. I heard that taking 800mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours can temporarily stop the bleeding. My question is, does it work for any kind of ibuprofen or just the red ones? I have white 600mg tablets. Can I use those and they will work just as effectively? ## Hi Lydia, Based on my research, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as Ibuprofen or naproxen) may help reduce menstrual bleeding by decreasing the production of substances called prostaglandins. I haven't read anything about certain colored tablets having a greater effect than others in this regard, so I'm thinking that is just something which can only be determined through trial and error. Cramp bark is also a natural alternative touted for it's use in alleviatin...

Hi, I just wanted to know that anti inflammatory drugs can delay periods. I was having a muscle spam happened on 3rd day of my period. Doctor suggested some anti inflammatory drugs along with analgesics. I took it from 3rd day of my period to 12th. We are actively trying for a baby. Now I'm two days late. My cycle length is 28days and don't usual gets late. Is it because of the medication I took. Any insight will be helpful. Many thanks ## No, they don't usually cause that, but 2 days late is not really significant. The NIH lists the typical side effects of Aceclofenac as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Has there been any change? Have you had a period, yet? Are you on any other medications?

I took 2 ipills last month and deviry for 10 days this month to get my periods. I've also got pollycystic ovaries. It's been 13 days since my last deviry tablet but I have not got my periods yet. Is it hormonal imbalance or can it be pregnancy? Can I start taking deviry again to get my periods? ## Have you taken a test to see if you're pregnant, or not? That's really the only way to get an answer to that question. While both of the medications you mentioned are hormone based drugs, they will not do anything if you are already pregnant. The iPill is an emergency contraceptive, but it only works to prevent fertilization in the first 3 to 5 days. Neither it, nor the Deviry will remove an existing pregnancy. Since you also suffer from PCOS, it may be a good idea to consult y...

hi sir. Im mard and 23yrs old.im havng pcod nd thyroid. How can i get pregnent i had irregular periods. My doctr suggest to take suvidha for 2 months.its compltd. Pls suggest me to get conceive.thanku ## Hi siri, Sorry to hear about your situation. Polycystic ovary disease (PCOD) is actually considered to be a common hormonal disorder. However.. from what I've read, the course of treatment is supposed to depend on how severe the symptoms are. One good thing to note is that apparently losing weight can help reduce some of the symptoms associated with PCOD. So it sounds like exercise is definitely one thing that help keep that in check, as it naturally helps maintain your hormonal balance. Some doctors might also recommend that you try certain drugs like clomifene; which are commonly ...

I need to get of Lexapro because of the side effects but understand the withdrawl is a horror ## Hi Kate, Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. In addition to that, I'd also suggest making yourself a tapering schedule on a calender to track your progress and keep you on the right path to complete your goal within a specific time frame. Without a way to track your progress, tapering can sometimes be much more difficult than it needs to be. I hope this advice helps! ## I just started Lexapro, normal spoken side e...

I started 100mg zoloft for 3 days then 100mg twice a day. Sees like too much for me. Its only been a week so can I just stop taking it safely? ## I would think that you should be fine since it's only been a week; however, I know everyone responds to these types of drugs differently, so I can't say for certain that you wont experience any withdrawal symptoms. If you do feel the need to take it slower, usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, under a doctor's supervision if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. I drank two doxycycline pills and I might be pregnant less than a month. Can two tablets cause birth defects? ## Hi, Brooke! How are you? The first thing you need to do is have a pregnancy test done to find out if you are, or not. If you are, there can be some dangers associated with Doxycycline, so you'd need to discuss it with your doctor. Learn more Doxycycline details here. ## I'm 8 weeks pregnant and the doctor gave me Doxytet but the problem is after taking this pills I was on my periods immediately, what does it mean am I no longer pregnant or what??

How are you? All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, so there is nothing I can suggest that would be certain to not cause any, either short or long-term. That's just the nature of drugs. As to whether or not you should use it for a longer period of time...

i need to change medicine from oxycodone way too expensive to something as effective but not as expensive ## There are Morphine equivalents to all the formulations of Oxycodone, the time released, regular release and the instant release. They are all available as generics, so you could ask your doctor about them. I remember when I was on pain management and had a time period where we were switching from on insurance to the other, so there was a break where I had no coverage, the Morphine was less than half what the Oxycodone cost, though it is still not cheap. Are there any questions or comments?

I have been on hydrocodone for five years 10 mg for what started out for back pain. The time has come for me to stop since it has become an addiction. Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible.
