Bad sensitivity to many white generic Norco - Help!

Need advice! I came to this site with the same issue, over a year ago - I'm one of unlucky people that has extreme sensitivity to "fillers" in most white colored norco 10-325 generic. I FINALLY found the dark yellow Qualitest. It was a VERY PAINFUL 3 month struggle! Now, with currant conditions, can't find this brand anywhere near me! Really need HONEST advice regarding any generic manufacturer that is well tolerated by ONLY PATIENTS WITH MY SIMILAR ISSUES PLZ. The malencrap & aurobindo were the worst. They gave me migraine headaches & sick to stomach. If someone has similar issues AND KNOWS OF A BRAND that is GOOD, please let me know. I'd be grateful. If need be I can have my Dr change the Rx to Vicodin or Vicoprofen. I just need a GOOD manufacturer name to ...

Generic Opana-People Speak up

They are saying that the new opana works as well as the old. There are so many peoples statements that I have read saying the new don't work as well but yet Endo states their research don't prove that. All people who have a real medical problem that causes pain and takes new opana and it doesn' work as well as the old needs to speak up. One person can't change anything. People who are being treated awful by medical doctors and pain clinics because they have pain also need to speak up. ## Read what Endo states what they think will happen with Opana in 2013-14. *double-digit prescription growth in products like Voltaren Gel and the reformulated OPANA ER which will drive growth in our branded pharmaceutical businesses. Tramadol 100mg from Mexico

Please someone tell me if Tramadol 100mg from Mexico is pink, round, and has no imprint except a line down the middle for breaking in half. ## To be honest, there are so many pills from Mexico that are claimed to be many different things and with their lack of drug regulations and no imprints on them, it's very difficult to even take a guess at what the tablets might contain. Learn more Tramadol details here. They could be Tramadol, but the only way to know for sure would be to pay to have them lab tested somewhere. Did you order them online, or actually get them in Mexico? ## My friend bought them in Mexico. They seem legitimate as far as packaging and manufacturer. I just wish they weren't plain. ## I purchased 100 mg white capsules in Mexico. I feel no different when taking t...

Chronic Pain patients must get organized to lobby for their rights.

People with chronic, intractable pain are being discriminated against and it is imperative that we join forces to fight for our civil rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Please send information on existing associations and organizations that can help or how to establish one that can help pain patients fight for their rights with petitions, letters; emails to send to these state and federal politicians that are determined use prescription drugs, doctors and pharmacies to further their political careers. Drug abuse is not the same as opiate dependent because of chronic pain management and there are over 100 million people living with pain and many of us are unable to live without medication. If the deaths from abuse seems high, the suicides from pain patients that are un...

Teva's new Oxycontin 80mg pill

So I've been keeping my eyes open for the new oxycontin generic to come out since Purdue lost it's patent. But for the longest time nothing emerged, no company was coming forward with a oxycontin substitute. I just saw that Teva brand has made a Oxycontin generic FINALLY. But I can't confirm a couple of things. First is how long has this generic been available? 2nd is I'm getting conflicting info on if they only make the 80mg pill or I'm seeing they make the 10mg, 20mg, 40mg and 80mg (NO 30's and NO 60's)!! And of course the other question, how much does this generic cost? Are they gonna charge a crazy amount of money or are they actually going to be affordable?? Has anyone out there tried these yet? If so how do they compare to the the old school original OC...

OxyContin for Methadone Withdrawal

I take 100mgs of methadone every day for the past 12 years. I ran out of methadone and can't go to my Dr for 2 days. Will OxyContin 20mg help with the methadone withdrawal? If anyone knows please let me know. ## Hello John. No it will not. I have been on methadone for over 30 years, been there done that. You say you have 2 more days to go to see your Dr. Well, as you know, methadone is a long acting medication. You would be fine the first day, especially taking 100mgs. Without it, you might not feel your best, but won't withdraw. But the second day you may start to get sick. You could try to take it for the second day. Everyone is different. It may take the edge off of feeling sick and your pain, but does your Dr do drug urinalysis? Because if he does and you take the oxycontin ...

How is hydramorphone and/or oxy hcl ir if I've been on MSIR 30, oxy 10/325, valium 10 3x day ## Hello Billy! How are you? What are the dosages of the Hydromorphone and Oxycodone? I'm sorry, but I'm unable to give you a comparison, without these additional details. Can you please post back and clarify? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Valium also carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. ## Hydromorphone is Dilaudid. A step up in opiods. But the oral form is not nearly what the IV form for relief. Maybe a pain pump with Dilaudid? Bu...

I am taking neurontin 800mg 2x's a day, amitriptyline 50mg at bedtime, indomethacine 50mg 3x's a day and tizanidine 4mg 2x's a day and my doctor just gave me lyrica 75mg 2x's a day. I am a 31 year old stay at home mom who has been diagnosed with RSD/CRPS 3 years ago and recently hurt my back. I would like to know if any red flags should be raised. I am worried for my childrens sake because they could be home with me when or if any bad reactions occur. Any advice? ## What is RSD/CRPS? ## RSD?CRPS is called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. It is nerve damage that causes my leg to be in constant pain. I can help ease my pain, but it will never go away. I have gone to several doctors and they say that everything that can be done, short of a spi...

Opiates and lack of physicians willing to prescribe

"First do no harm." The starting line in the Hippocratic Oath. I have been a chronic pain patient off and on for 20 years. Should have been ON for the duration, but idiot overdosers and Congress got involved. Drs. are not fulfilling their path. Legitimate pain patients like myself live a miserable existence. We are not seeking drugs to get high or to sell, but to at least dull our pain. I contemplate suicide daily as a way to not feel the constant pain. There is no joy, no happiness and nothing to look forward to when even the smallest task brings tears to your eyes. Physicians are afraid to prescribe meds they know will alleviate pain because a bunch of bureaucrats, far removed from reality, dictate what they can prescribe. How unreasonable is that? Congress doesn't know me...

Blue pill marked N 23

Found a blue pill, marked N over 23... Cannot locate what this is on any website...was told is was oxycodone 30mg but I believe it could be OTC ibuprofen...any help would be appreciated. ## Right - these pills are most likely Oxycodone 30 mg manufactured by Novel Labs (NDC 40032-431) - they are described as round, blue with imprint n 23. Inactive Ingredients: - Microcrystalline Cellulose - Silicon Dioxide - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato - D&C Yellow No. 10 - FD&C Blue No. 2 - Magnesium Stearate ## It's definitely not listed as being a marking used in the U.S. on any Oxycodone tablet, nor any other prescription medication. I am leaning towards siding with you that it is most likely an over the counter product and the blue color makes me wonder if it might be something...

information on Hydroprofen

what are thr uses of hybroprofen? 2 isomers (active & inactive) of hybroprofen & the effect of each by itself & with another drug. ## Hydroprofen is a combination medication that contains Hydrocodone and Ibuprofen, so it combines a narcotic analgesic with a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. I do not, however, have a list of the inactive ingredients, since this particular one isn't available in the U.S. I'm sorry. Learn more Ibuprofen details here. Learn more Hydrocodone details here. And the possible interactions with another drug would depend on what other drug you are asking about. There are many that it can interact with and I can't list them all. Did you have any drugs in particular you wanted to ask about? ## Can you get hydrocodone without Tylenol or ibuprofe...

Doctors Willing To Prescribe Pain Meds In Orange County Ca

I am 50 and work a hard labor job for 25 years. I am in chronic pain constantly. I want a better quality of life and to continue to work. I need a Doctor in Orange County, CA that can prescribe Norco for my pain. ## The main issue here may be due to the fact that you're asking for/looking for, a specific pain medication, especially one that contains a narcotic. Many doctors will see that as drug seeking behavior, it is something they are taught to watch out for in new patients. The best thing you can do is to see a new doctor and make sure that they receive a full copy of your medical records, so your records can speak for themselves. A doctor will be more likely to follow the information and prescribing practices of their fellow physicians. Does anyone know a good doctor in the are...

white oblong pill with l1

Found a white oblong oval pill with L 1 or it looks like a 1 is this oxycodone? no other imprints on it ## Based on the description provided the closest match I'm finding is a round white pill marked "L 1"; which is identified as a 20mg Famotidine tablet, used for treating ulcers, as well as symptoms of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and heartburn. Now I realize you mentioned that your pill was oval/oblong-shaped, so I don't know if this is a definitive match or not. Also with the possibility of the "1" not being a "1" (as you mentioned it "looks like a 1"), there could potentially be other close matches too. Does anyone else recognize this pill as something different? ## This pill is no doubt, as in 95% sure, a benzodiazepine called loraz...

Suboxone use, need help getting off

I have been on suboxone for over 2 years now. I have attempted several times to stop using them but I haven't been successful. I take 1-2mg a day. I have tried weening more than that but suffered terrible withdrawals. I would like to know if anyone has been successful at this or have found another way to stop using suboxone. I thought this was a miracle drug for opioid dependency but its worse than opioid addiction. ## From what I can tell based on your description, I would honestly consider asking a pain clinic for assistance in tapering, since it seems to effect you so significantly. Just keep in mind that you definitely aren't alone on this matter. There are quite a few threads posted here with individuals trying to withdrawal from this dangerous drug. In the meantime you may...

I am on norco 10/325mg four times a day and i tested positive for oxy n opiates how is that possible..i took the drug test monday and i havent taken any other meds than what im prescribed ## Norco is an opiate. read the other posts on here, and you will see that it happens occasionally with Norcos. (which are hydrocodone or lortabs or vicodin) ## Same thing keeps happening to me, im on norco 7.5s 2 times a day ## Same thing just happened to me now twice. I take Norco 325 10mg-4 times per day. I do not take percoset but, my Fiancé does. ## I've had things come up on my U/A that I did not take...the labs are f***ing up....or u took something that gave u a false positive... more likely it's the labs mistake. ## Because they are In the family of opioids. Need a pain med for Chronic pain from CRPS Type 2 that does not contain TYLENOL

Hello..I have Crps type 2 and take Norco 10/325....Is there any other pain med that DOES NOT CONTAIN TYLENOL that would work for me,, esp since I like my Liver and want to keep it as long as possible without killing it from Tylenol....Thank You ## Hello, Stevarino! How are you? Yes, there are quite a few other options that don't contain Acetaminophen/Tylenol that you can ask your doctor about, including Oxycodone, Morphine, Dilaudid and a new version of time released Hydrocodone without the Acetaminophen called Zohydro. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I also suffer from CRPS both knees. Wanted to let you k...

hydrocodone/apap liquid and tylenol together

Was given RX Hydrocod/acetaminophen 7.5-325/15ML every 4-6hrs. Can you also use liquid tylenol 500 mg over the counter together, alternating? ## You should not combine OTC tylenol with any prescription meds that also contain tylenol. You may want to call or see your Dr or dentist if the rx you were given isn't helping the pain. ## I Ran out of my hydrocodone/ acetaminophen 10-325 T. About how many of the over the counter extra strength Tylenol's can I take to get close to the hydro's. I'm out of town for 2 more days. Need something to ease pain up at least somewhat. Any advice would be great. Thanks. ## You should not take more than 4,000 mg Tylenol in a 24 hour period or more than 1,000 mg every 6 hours. The tylenol won't equal the hydrocodone/acetaminophen you'...

Pain medication seeking

No one wants to prescribe controlled substances to people on an ongoing basis because it is wrong!! I am a provider and see people all the time who go from practice to practice with stories trying to get narcotics. Patients need to go to drug rehab, find a psychiatrist, do physical therapy, lose weight, and get a job!! This is no way to live and we do not want to jeopardize our licenses feeding into addiction. I have personally been in three serious car accidents (none were my fault) and have had back surgeries, injections, PT etc. but have NEVER taken controlled substances except for two days after surgery. I have chronic back pain but I exercise and take care of myself and go on with my life!! Evidence-based practice tells us that narcotics are no better and pain control than ibuprofe...
