Pain Medication Stronger Than Fentanyl

At the hospital with heart and.chest pain. already on a fentanol patch and its not working. is there anything stronger than the fentanol patch? ## No, Fentanyl is really the strongest narcotic on the market, since it's over 80 times stronger than Morphine. However, there are medications they can give you that would work faster, but on that the relevant question is, what is causing the pain? ## I need a dr in Binghamton area for my medications fentanol and Percocet my dr went out with cancer and the other dr is not weighting he scripts for anyone any more new York Binghamton vestal plead help ## Ask at your hospital for the name of a Pain Specialist, or Rheumatologist. Pain medication cut downs

Is it just me or is all the pain management docs trying to cut everyone down or back!!?? When I went to my last visit the doc had the nerve to ask me if I still needed my Oxymorphone 20mg ER (56). I was like YEAH, what do you think?! This is after they closed down for 3 months and I had to switch to Subutex to not get sick. And I got dropped from the 30mg oxymorphone. And by the way the 20'mgs are garbage. Then my doc asked me to get an MRI on my lower back, which I did the month prior. It just goes to show what a dumb ass he is and how they're so not in tune to what is going on! All they want to do is lower and lower your meds. Has anyone else had their doc try and taper them down or try and lower your stuff? By the way, I'm in south FL. ## Yes,I live on the east coast and ...

Aidolol Tramadol from Mexico

I filled a prescription of Tramadol from Mexico & the brand is Adiolol 100 mg capsules. There are no markings on the capsules & they're white. Anyone know if these are legitimate? Just concerned about the reliability. ## Unfortunately, there is no way to be sure, that is the hazard of filling a prescription in a foreign country. Their medications are not as strictly regulated as those under the auspices of the FDA. If you received it from a legitimate pharmacy, with a good reputation there, then most likely they are real, but there's no way to be certain, unless you would have them tested by a lab. A quick search doesn't even turn up anything under this name, but the databases that I use are geared towards U.S. approved medications. The FDA warns that Tramadol carrie...

Tramadol by amneal vs mylan

All our pharmacies here have switched to amneal, which doesn't do a thing except give a headache. The brand does make a difference. The mylan works great. ## Yes, there can be differences in generic medications. Once a medication is available to be made a generic, it is allowed to differ, in the active ingredient, from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20%. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window. The problem that you can run into, of course, is that generics do not have to measure against each other, just against the name brand. This means that while one generic may be high quality and contain 100mgs of a given medication, another generic may only contain 80mgs and another could contain 120mgs. Not everyone is sensitive to such changes and most people don...

What does tramadol from mexico look like?

I saw a DR assistant and she prescribed a medication for me-- Her name is on the Rx bottle with the abv. Aurobindo -- not sure what this means...help ## Hello, Clinton! How are you? Arubobindo is the name of the manufacture of those particular tablets. The FDA classifies Tramadol as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I need help identifying a pill from Mexico. It says it's tramadol 50mg and it's in a light tan capsule with no imprints. Is this a legitimate brand? ## I have these generic Tramadol pills from Mexico and the brand says Paliadol, but they are plain white pills with nothing on them. Can you confirm this brand? ##...

Pain Medication Shame

First of all, I hate taking pain meds but I was almost completely bedridden for 2 yrs. They gave me my life back and I'll be grateful for the rest of my life. My insurance company dropped me right before I was gonna have surgery to get some relief. So I had no choice but to go with the pain meds. I've been on oxycodone 30/150 per month (5 a day) and MS Contin 200mg 2 times daily since 2009. Had breaks when I could. My point is, nobody knows what my daily life is like. I feel ashamed every month getting refills. Maybe it's in my head but the staff at the pharmacy gives me that "pill seeker" look. I guess all that matters is my doctor trusts me and he knows my complete history. I know I'm not taking them for fun. I'd much rather be normal. Can anyone relate to ...

Norco and Valium should be more freely prescribed

Hi, i was on yellow norco and valium for severe anxiety and very bad pain all over my body. Could barely walk. I'm 71 years old and have never ever abused my meds. I had many operations in past. I'm also a cancer survivor. When i lived in ny i had a wonderful Dr and he knew i never took my meds more than i was supposed too because they really helped. I moved to sacramento and found a decent Dr but she refuses to give me norco or valium. So she sent me to a psychiatrist. I couldn't believe the med he gave me. 3 days in bed i didn't know where i was. Long story short i ended up in ER with ambulance for severe pain. It was withdrawals. They gave me norco and valium. The new white norco was the worst, it didn't work at all. I just don't understand why pharmaceutical ...

Is Kratom good for pain

I have been on 10 mg oxycodone and codeine #4 for 10 years and now I'm sick of it. I was told kratom is good for pain. Does anyone know if it really works? Pain meds don't work any more and I want off of pain killers. ## I have been looking at kratom forums on the web seeking alternatives to pain pills. I'm getting mixed opinions on it being effective for pain issues. There are online vendors who feature an option of buying a few different strains which you can sample. Most forum users are seeking a way to detox from the pills using kratom to cope with withdrawal symptoms. ## I believe that Kratom is the best pain reliever on the face of the Earth. I have been a Chronic Pain patient for 20 years and have been prescribed Everything Possible for severe pain. Kratom works bette...

How Long Does Tramadol Stay In Your System

I took 100mg of Tramadol last thursday and have to have a urine test at my pain doc next thurs (2 weeks between dosage and test). I was wondering if anyone has been tested positive after that long? ## You will be fine, most of the time they don't test for tramadol anyway because it isn't a narcotic but it would be out of your system within 48-72 hours anyway so no worries ## Yes, that is correct, Tramadol isn't a straight narcotic and it isn't included on the standard drug tests. Even if it were, opioids are usually only detectable for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing. It is, however, never advisable to use any medication, without your doctor's approval and supervision. Are there any other questions or comments? ## i took ultram three weeks ago (which was...

Tramadol 100mg from Mexico

Please someone tell me if Tramadol 100mg from Mexico is pink, round, and has no imprint except a line down the middle for breaking in half. ## To be honest, there are so many pills from Mexico that are claimed to be many different things and with their lack of drug regulations and no imprints on them, it's very difficult to even take a guess at what the tablets might contain. Learn more Tramadol details here. They could be Tramadol, but the only way to know for sure would be to pay to have them lab tested somewhere. Did you order them online, or actually get them in Mexico? ## My friend bought them in Mexico. They seem legitimate as far as packaging and manufacturer. I just wish they weren't plain. ## I purchased 100 mg white capsules in Mexico. I feel no different when taking t...

TRAMADOL

HE IS ADDICTED TO THE DRUG CAN'T FUNCTION WITHOUT IT AND HE IS ALWAYS ANGRE OR AGGITATED AT EVERYTHING AROUND HIM, HE CAN'T KEEP FOOD DOWN CAN'T SLEEP, NOW HE HAS TRIED TO STOP TAKING IT BUT IS ON A DOWN HILL DREPRESSED STATE... ## Well unfortunately our bodies can become dependent upon anything that we take regularly for a long period of time, anything from your morning orange juice to a cup of milk with dinner. There is a big difference between addiction and dependence though. To be addicted he would have to be abusing the drug, taking it more than prescribed and going to extreme measures to get more. Now the problem with dependence is that while the withdrawals are not as severe as addiction, you do su...

what is the best quality oxycodone 30 mg

For 18 months my pharmacy for 18 months gave me the same white round pill then changed it to a very round light gray pill and don't worry its the same 30 milligrams of oxycodone I've been giving you. I suffer from chronic back pain. I called my pharmacy after 2 weeks of taking it and told him these pills are not working and making me very sick. effects of taking no spa with buscopan

10mg pink oxycodone no acetaminophen

What excuse can you use to ask the doctor for the pink oxycodone instead of the other ones? ## Hi black, If you can inform the doctor of a legitimate reason as to "why" you would prefer one version over another, then that seems to me like it would be your be your best bet for convincing him/her to change their decision. Usually there are certain inactive ingredients (that may or may not be present in each tablet) that can have an effect on how well your body metabolizes the pill as a whole. And in some cases your body simply responds better to one over the other. Not only that but the addition of Acetaminophen can also lead to liver toxicity with prolonged use. Perhaps this would make for a good debate if he/she questioned you on your reasoning behind wanting to switch tablets. ...
