Taking Instaflex with Tramadol

This will be my first time taking Instaflex. How am I supposed to take it? I am currently taking Tramadol 50mg for knee pain. In my right knee I have no cartilage left in it. It is basically rubbing bone on bone. I need to know the success rate with both drugs. ## Tramsdol, gambinton, ibroproytin andare instaflex, cantina thèse be taKen together ## Instaflex is not considered a medication, it is classified as a supplement. It contains Turmeric, Resveratrol, Boswella extract, collagen, hyaluronic acid, and bioperine. These are believed to help with joint pain, and inflammation, but Instaflex is not FDA approved, and hasn't been proven to help. Some people report good results with it, and if your doctor approves, there is usually no harm in trying it. Having recently started having...

Big Pharma's Lockdown On Legitimate Chronic Pain Patients

Is narcotic pain medicine becoming a thing of the past? Why are doctors across America phasing out the practice of prescribing effective pain medication? Will big pharmaceutical companies ever truly understand what it's like to face the other side of the coin? Lately there's been a musty scent in the air surrounding the use of prescribed narcotic pain medication. Many doctors appear to be running scared as the DEA scours through fields of medical records, inspecting prescribing pads like a mouse scavenges for food in a dimly lit cellar. Should the day come when doctors recommend Ibuprofen to a feeble man who's been involved in a terrible car accident (breaking several bones / requiring extensive surgery), is this doctor at risk of malpractice when there are more effective op...

Fusion surgery pain management

Had back fusion surgery. Only 6 weeks of low dose norco. Ended up with nerve pain in my foot (zapping shocks that will take the strongest person down). Ortho doc said It would go away possibly in 6 weeks, maybe longer. Ortho surgeon they will never give anyone any opioids past 6 weeks no matter what. He tells me to go to pain management but he does not recommend or refer for any one of his patients to a pain management clinic. Says he does not want the responsibility of that. Truth is he doesn't want docs asking why he give very little pain meds or have his patients being referred back to him. He said to go to my regular doc. So I did see my regular doc and they said I have to go back to my surgeon as it's his responsibility. One time the pain was so bad I went to ER, they said ...

Large Oblong White Pill No Imprint But Scored In The Middle

found some large oblong white pills that were cut in half. They were in a pill box with tylenol and advil. These white ones had no marking except for a vertical line down the middle where they were cut in half. Any clues to what they may be? ## I'm sorry, but if there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to narrow down exactly what these tablets may contain. We can rule them out as being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required by law to have unique markings to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter items, there is even a small chance it could be a foreign medication. Did you find these in the U.S.? Does anyone else have a idea of what these might be? ## the small white oblong tablets are being sold ...

Pain Medication Shame

First of all, I hate taking pain meds but I was almost completely bedridden for 2 yrs. They gave me my life back and I'll be grateful for the rest of my life. My insurance company dropped me right before I was gonna have surgery to get some relief. So I had no choice but to go with the pain meds. I've been on oxycodone 30/150 per month (5 a day) and MS Contin 200mg 2 times daily since 2009. Had breaks when I could. My point is, nobody knows what my daily life is like. I feel ashamed every month getting refills. Maybe it's in my head but the staff at the pharmacy gives me that "pill seeker" look. I guess all that matters is my doctor trusts me and he knows my complete history. I know I'm not taking them for fun. I'd much rather be normal. Can anyone relate to ...

wes 301 vicodin

I was dispensed what i thought was hydrocodone 5 mg pill with the imprint wes301 on them. They are capsule shaped they are shaped like a Vicodin and I can't seem to find any info on it and there are no images of them anywhere. They are supposedly manufactured by eywapharma. Can you please help me identify these? ## That is correct, they are distributed by Eywa Pharma and manufactured by Wes Pharma, they are listed as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. NDC: 71930-0019 Unfortunately, I don't have a picture to post for you, but they are described as being oval, and peach in color. Generally, if something has been obtained from your pharmacy, then there is no reason to worry, since they can only provide legitimate FDA approved medications. Is there anything...

I found an oval white pill that is broken in half it has the number 59 on it, its the right half of the pill so 59 would be the last part of whats on it. any idea of what it could be ## It's Vicodin ## I'm sorry, but without knowing the complete imprint, it is going to be very difficult to determine exactly what this contains. Doctors in Pasadena California for Percocet

I’ve had some degree of came off and on for over three years. I have been missed diagnosed twice and now have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. I’m not sure if anyone really knows what I have. I do not abuse my pain medication but the dose I am giving has not been enough to manage my pain. I am in level five or more 24 hours a day. I have tried talking to them many many doctors I have about getting me a good pain management doctor and I keep hearing that they are hesitant to prescribe opiates for fibromyalgia. They will prescribe it for anything else but not for fibromyalgia. I’m going to yet again another specialist at UCLA that supposedly specializes in fibromyalgia but I need to have a back up plan. Whatever this is that I have has caused me to have to use a walker and m...

Tramadol to treat spondylolisthesis pain

What causes spondylolisthesis and what's the treatment for it? What is radiculopathy? Can I use Ibuprofen for pain rather than Tramadol to help preserve the liver? ## It is a dislocation of two vertebral bodies where 1 vertebrae slips forward in front of the other...VERY painful condition. Normally occurs in the lumbosacral region. Causes are degenerative conditions, prolapsed discs, failed back surgery, traumatic injury. Treatment is limited to surgical repair depending on the patient, history, degree of slippage, location etc. I suggest any surgical recommendations you get a 2nd opinion and even 3rd opinion. Mix it up and get a neurosurgeon opinion and orthopedic surgeon opinion. Pain Management is your only other option. This condition can be treated. The underlying problem must ...

New Jersey Pain Management Laws

Have the laws changed? I have been prescribed oxycodone 10 mg since 2009 by my family doctor because of spinal injuries and my new neurosurgeon says that new damage is not going to be helped by another surgery.. Do i now have to go strictly to a pain management doctor or can my family doctor still prescribe it? She told me that laws may be changing. ## It can vary from state to state, and within each state dependent upon state laws, it can vary from doctor to doctor. Thus, even if they can prescribe it, they may not want to do so, if it's for long term use, since that requires a lot more monitoring, and they do have to account to the government for each prescription they write for a controlled substance. Since many doctors dislike dealing with the extra burden, they send patients to...

oxycodone for treated stomach cancer. 5 mg. previous scripts up to now was manufactured by zydus. got refill bottle says aurob. NO relief. headache stomach ache. fluffy white pill imprinted with U22. ## I am very sorry that you're so miserable! However, I can't find any medications listed that have a U22 marking. Can you please double check and post back? Thank you! The FDA classifies Oxycodone as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Do NOT use anything by Aurobindo. I am looking for some information about this drug. ## Have been given dorvasal but know nothing of contents. does anyone know what is in here? ## I am sorry, I can't find anything listed. Did you spell it correctly? ## My mom has been taking Dorvasal for past 4 years. It was prescribed by a doctor in Mexico. As per him it is not a steroid and it contains DMSO (DiMethyl Sulphoxide) It really helped my mom with her Rheumatoid Arthritis for about 3 years or so; but unfortunately now her pain is back (even worse) and she is showing a lot of other side-effects like dizziness, spinning motion in her head, nausea, mouth ulcers, skin rashes, insomnia etc. We are not sure if they are caused by Dorvasal as she is taking few other medications like Tramadol Hydrochloride (analgesic painkiller) ...

drug name dorvasal

small & round, orange ## My mother has been suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis for last 10 years. We found out about Dorvasal from an RA forum. An RA doctor in Mexico prescribed Dorvasal for my mother. She took it thrice a day with analgesics for 4 years and we saw good results with her mobility and pain control. However lately she is complaining of dizziness, spinning motion in head, mouth ulcers, itchy skin and skin rashes, insomnia. We abruptly stopped Dorvasal because of these side effects and now her condition has really deteriorated. She is bed ridden now. Does this drug contain any steroids? Also we are not sure if the side effects were because of Dorvasal or the analgesic pain killer (Tramadol Hydrochloride) she has been taking. (She also has hypertension and high blood pre...

Fentanyl Patches Killing people!

I would like to know WHY the FDA has not taken the Fentanyl Patch off the market? This drug is being handed out like candy. Anyone who is not terminal or under Hospice care or in a hospital invironment should not be using this drug. Why would a person be prescribed a medication that is 80 times stronger than morphine for a backache. I do not believe patients know how powerful this medication is. The warning should be labled in RED. When are you FDA going to realize This medication is killing while relieving pain! I know because it killed my son. ## Very sorry to hear that you lost your son, from use of this medication. As to the warnings, those used by the FDA are black box warnings, to alert people to serious risks. While it can be dangerous, since it is so powerful and often abuse, it...
