Lyrica Side Effects results in loss of 13 teeth

I am the patient of a pain management physician because there is nothing else that can be done for my back other thantry to manage my pain. I have had 19 back surgeries, including rods, broken back and rods on right side. My last surgery was the insertion of two morphine pain pumps, which caused my body to reject the plastic or some component thereof. They also inserted two dual-lead dorsal column stimulators, and even though all four of these pumps worked successfully, my body also rejected come component in the stimulators as well. One of the largest problems, second only to the pain, was the fact that I had 5 deep wound that went all the way down to my rectus muscle in my stomach. I had a staph infection from the pump as well as the stimulator. It took 6 months of wound care from the...

Doctors pain medications

No one wants to prescribe controlled substances to you people on an ongoing basis because it is wrong!! I am a provider and see people like you all the time who go from practice to practice with your stories trying to get narcotics. You need to go to drug rehab, find a psychiatrist, do physical therapy, lose weight, and get a job!! This is no way to live and we do not want to jeopardize our licenses feeding into your addiction. I have personally been in three serious car accidents (none were my fault) and have had back surgeries, injections, PT etc. but have NEVER taken controlled substances except for two days after surgery. I have chronic back pain but I exercise and take care of myself and go on with my life!! Evidence-based practice tells us that narcotics are no better and pain con...

Oxycodone vs OxyContin For chronic pain

I am currently on 4 30mg oxycodone ir a day and 2 2mg dillaudid a day. I've had 2 major surgeries and I'm I'm only 24 and day in day out in extreme constant pain. My question is would switching to OxyContin the new formula be as effective? Does it have the same euphoria or is it less effective than what I'm on? If anybody can help me out with that I would appreciate it. ## One thing I can say right off the bat is that Oxycontin is an extended release formula of Oxycodone. Some people say that it's not quite as potent as its immediate-release counterpart, but offers much longer relief in return. I do think though, that you'd have be your own best judge when it comes to that, since everyone is different. The thread linked below seems to have good information compar...

150 mg. a day Oxycontin / Oxycodone habit for 4 months

Well unfortunately I really messed up and started taking OC twice a day 12 hours a part. I worked my way up to taking 40-60 mg in the morning and 80 mgs at night. i originally started using after severe depression and anxiety and wanting to feel better to fill an emotional void left by a really bad year in my life which led me to start using. No BS here, I wanted to feel better and unfortunately started using and am on week 14 of my addiction. I have had enough though and am just writing to share my story and experience and will continue to write during my detox. I feel ashamed, nervous, scared, and angry that I began using. It is against everything I knew and knew better. I finally came to the conclusion that I need to stop and came clean with my wife who is being totally supportive. I...

Oxycodone/Percocet generics! Which are most effective?

Hello, First, let me start by saying that I am somewhat opiate naive. I am not in pain management and hopefully won't need to be. I've had scripts here and there for norco and percocet. It is the generic percocet, or more specifically the oxycodone, i'd like to discuss here. Over the past year i've had issues (such as a broken elbow, recurring kidney stones, and a staghorn lodged in my renal pelvis [kidney]), that have lead to several prescriptions for percocet from a total of 4 different manufacturers. Mallinckrodt 10/325, Amneal 7/325, Rhodes Pharmacy 10/325, and AuroBindo 10/325. I've read a lot of reviews about the aforementioned generic manufacturers. The majority of them have been negative especially for Rhodes. Mallinckrodt and AuroBindo are the only two that ...

Lyrica withdrawals winging off

I'm wanting to hear from anyone who has winged off of lyrica after so many mths taking it. I have had it with the med. I've gained 35 lbs in 4 mths. I never gain wt. I have sever numbness in hands and feet and swolleness. It's scary! I ran out one time with out getting refill, though I'd just stop it and start another tx. Well very wrong. I got so sick. I was having withdrawels and I had to get back on it. At the time it was worth getting back on it quickly to feel better. Plus the other side effects hadn't kicked in yet and not so severely. I'm worried it will be difficult to get off of it. ## I took it for fibromyalgia. Although it did help my flareup tremendously. The side effects are too much. ## thanks Verwon that was the exact imformation I was looking for....

Is Ol Tram really Tramadol?

Hello, i just received tramadol 50mg. from HAB pharmaceuticals. There are no markings on the pills. Round, white pills. Blister pack says Tramadol 50mg. is it really Tramadol? The pack also says "Ol Tram". ## Hi anned, From what I could gather, OL-TRAM is reported to be a foreign brand name of Tramadol. However, I think its legitimacy depends on where you ordered it from, since as you may know, many of those sketchy websites can often be unreliable. HAB pharmaceuticals has had some complaints in the past, but as I look at their webpage, they do strike me as being a real pharmaceutical manufacturer that produces real meds out of India. So my assumption is that it's probably real Tramadol, but in reality there's no way of being certain if there are no markings to verify th...

Will Synaleve help me?

I haven't had my period in over a year now, and I have been having a sharp pain on my lower abdomen on my right-hand side. Also, I have pains like needless on my tummy, they come and go.. I was given synaleve pills for that. Will that help? ## Hello, Mathabo! How are you? Synaleve is listed as containing Acetaminophen, Codeine and Meprobamate, so it is an analgesic used to alleviate pain. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. However, it will not help you get your periods. Did the doctor provide you with a diagnosis? ## I had lower back spinal surgery 3-4 years ago. Since then I get pain down my left leg into my foot and toes, which really becomes terrible at times, especially when...

Mallinckrodt cheap hydrocodone returns!

I'm sure they're more than a few of you out there that might be returning to look into basically the same problems with Mallinckrodt Pharm"s Hydrocodone/APAP 7.5/325, commonly referred to as Norco. About 4 years ago, Mallinckrodt dumped a bunch of this product on the US market. I have been taking Norco for about 12 years & have always been at about the same dose and never had any problems until I ran into this brand. I've had Actavis, Watson, & Qualtest brands with relatively no noticeable difference. Then four years ago, I filled my usual prescription and came home to find a different shaped tablet with M366 on the side. Almost immediately after my first dose, first came the stomach ache, then the headache, and eventually the feeling of withdrawal. I went to the...

Dr that will prescribe over 120 m.e.d. for wife in Washington state

We are in Washington state. My wife has psoriatic arthritis, endometriosis, and fibromyalgia. She was force tapered to 3 30mg oxycodone a day and can now barely get out of bed, let alone work. Washington law lays out that chronic pain patients are absolutely able to be prescribed more than 120 m.e.d., yet the doctors we have seen won't go over that limit. We are trying to find a Dr that is willing to bring my wife back up to the dose she was on that let her live her life, not be bed-ridden from pain. Does anyone know of a Dr that is caring and is willing to prescribe more that 3 pills a day? Thank you for any help you can provide us. ## If my math is correct 120 pills would 4 a day not 3. ## I am so fed up with the politics of this BS. The courts have determined that pain is subject...

Found this pill that says n358 on one side and 10 on the other. What is it? I don't know if it is a lortab or not. ## An oval white pill imprinted with "n | 358" on one side and "10" on the other is identified as Hydrocodone bitartrate (10 mg) + Acetaminophen (325 mg); a generic of Norco used for moderate to severe pain relief. Manufacturer: Novel Laboratories Inc. National Drug Code: 40032-0358 Hope this helps! ## Yes it's Norco/lortab 10. I get them from CVS. Put out by novel laboratories. I have gotten these the last few months ## I found this "n 358 10" white oval pill in my son's backpack. What is it? I'm concerned if he's doing drugs or whatever this pill is. ## Its a Lortab! Camber brand Hydrocodone

Has anyone else gotten this brand of 10mg hydrocodone from meijer pharmacy? And has anyone had problems? Any comments welcome. Asking because i recieved the 10mg of it yesterday and so far havent noticed any relief. Coments and replies please?? ## What is the name of pharmaceutical company that makes it? ## Camber makes some of the worst and most questionable narcotic analgesics on the market! You would get far more relief from 600mg to 800mg worth of ibuprofen liquid gels than most narcotic analgesics today! Never take this amount of ibuprofen without consulting your doctor first! The day of effective narcotic analgesics is over for the foreseeable future after all of them were reformulated in 2013-2014 to remove the chemical matrix that caused oxytocin to be released by the pituitary ...

Pramadol for pain

pain ## What are the side effects of Pramadol HcL 50 mg.? This was prescribed to my mother when she had hip surgery. Hasn't taken any in a long while and has been having hip & leg pain more recently. Took 1 pill today so she could rest. Please tell me the side effects quickly. Thanks. ## Did you mean Tramadol? That is the only prescription medication that I'm aware of that's close to this and used for pain. Tramadol is centrally acting analgesic that's derived from an opiate, though it's not considered narcotic. However, due to being distantly related, it can cause similar side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. It may also have a tendency to be habit forming in some people. There are more Tramadol details available here. ## In welke...

Oxycodone blue pill a 51

How effective are the A51 blue oxycodone pills? Does it work like the mbox 30's V's Or A215??? ## Hello, Chris! How are you? Yes, this is a 30mg regular release Oxycodone tablet, equivalent to Roxicodone, just like the others you mentioned. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I don't want to burst anybody's bubble but the A51's are 150% different than if you were taking the blues that are 30 milligrams no matter if they are the M boxes the a214 ,the V's ,or the k9. You CANNOT abuse them. they have an opiate blocker in them for safety regulations called naloxone...... they are made so you ca...
