My husband is prescribed tramadol, he takes 50mg tablets, 1 pill 4 times daily. But for the last 2 months they said his urine test at the Dr is negative for tramadol. He has taken them every day as prescribed for 2 years as part of his pain regiment for his auto immune diseases. The doctor said if his lab work next month is negative of tramadol again, he will dismiss him as a patient. My husband has 5 auto immune diseases and it took 3 years to get to a doctor who could figure out what was going on and get him on treatments. If he's dismissed, he will lose his biologics treatment for the illness, not just pain relief. Does anyone know why his tramadol is not showing up in the lab work??? I'm at a loss! ## 2 possible reasons...Someone is swapping out his meds with a look-alike or...

white, oblong, ip 204 imprint ## This contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, this is a generic for Percocet. This is an addictive narcotic analgesic. Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth and constipation. ## Is generic IP204 percocet as strong as the real percocet? Not this brand, but another generic brand didn't seem as strong since I'd been taking the yellow 10's. Apparently yellow is generic also from my understanding. ## The term addictive in the explaination is not very responsible. It is a drug with a high rate of dependancy but addiction is a state and usually refers to an uncontrollable urge for somethimg plenty of people use this medication without addictive tendancies even if their bodoes become dependant. ##...

Hi is there a specific product in the market that I can use to stop my stilpane addiction???? ## Hi sherry, From what I've read, Stilpane contains 370mgs of Paracetamol, 185mgs of Meproamate, and 8mgs of Codeine. And if you have been taking them everyday for an extended period of time, there are actually two possible problems you should be aware of. This first is that Codeine is a narcotic, so it can be habit forming and addicting. A sudden cessation of it, in such instances, may cause serious withdrawal effects, such as fever, chills, nausea and vomiting. However, the most concerning ingredient for those with an addiction to the medication, is actually the Paracetamol. Based on my research, long-term use of just regular amounts can still cause liver and kidney damage. That said, it...

Morphine user 145 ER, Norco 10/325 6 per day for a severed ulnar nerve for 23 years. Just had a neurostimulator implanted and weened down so far to 30mg am and 15mg afternoon with prn Norco, 3-5 daily. I'm taking weening slowly but the answer to a lot of the above problems could be solved by use of a neurostimulator. ## I am very glad that it's helping you, and reducing your dependence on the medications, however, as with everything else, it isn't viable for everyone that's in pain, and it doesn't work for everyone that tries it. Ref: Deep Brain Stimulation Information The FDA warns that opiates, such as Morphine, and Norco, carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Small white round pill. One side blank. Other side has score in middle. On one side is a symbol that looks like a C with a line in the middle (more or less looks like a capital E) and other side of score has 5 imprinted on it. What is this? I'm being told it's a 5mg oxycodone but I cannot find on the internet. ## This tablet contains 5mgs of Oxycodone (NDC 42806-005). Inactive Ingredients: - Lactose Monohydrate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Starch, Corn - Silicon Dioxide - Magnesium Stearate Ref: DailyMed

I have permanent nerve damage in my right leg. The government seem hell bent on outlawing it. Could one of the drug companies help with cost. I'm on social security and can't afford to pay for it. My Dr. is happy to write a prescription. I take 30 mg.s daily. ## Since it is available as a generic, there are currently no programs offering assistance with Roxicodone. To get a lower price, you can compare prices from your local pharmacies, or use a discount card, such as GoodRx. The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Mine is pretty much a two-part question I was locked into a mom-and-pop pharmacy for over 4 years when suddenly they told me they can't fill my Roxicodone anymore because they don't get paid enough from my insurance company which has been the same all along so I got lucky and filled it at a Walgreens which just closed I was told my records would be sent to another Walgreens and I have been going from Walgreens to Walgreens to Walgreens and they are out of stock everywhere I'm in severe pain and I just don't know what to do does anybody have any ideas and does anybody know if a pharmacy can just stop like that and I also know for a fact that a person I referred there with the same insurance as mine is still filling them at that Pharmacy ## Yes, the pharmacy can do that, n...

TL;DR - how do you work around "no narcotics allowed" medical evaluations? Hi, I'm supposed to be going for a battery of check ups next week at the Mayo GI clinic for chronic GI pain (20+ years). However I've just been told I cannot be on any narcotic when they do the diagnostics. I understand why that is but that's not the issue. I asked how other pain patients have worked around this strict limitation and she just kept repeating (like a robot) "you aren't a patient, I'm not allowed to give advice". No matter how I tried to frame the question, she refused to advise. FFS. So, how the hell do I do that? I'm terrified of being off oxy for any period. Also my pain doc, whilst "flexible" and open to suggestion, doesn't inspire confidence w...

I live in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia. Diagnosed suffering from Degenerative Disc Disease, with Cervical Radiculopathy (one bulging disc) and Lumbar Radiculopathy (two bulging discs). These spinal problems are diagnosed by three (3) recent CAT Scans, with radiologist analyses. And yes, I have ALL of the CAT Scan CDs, and radiologist reports. I went to Frank Howard Bynes, M.D., a retired trauma surgeon, and practicing internal medicine M.D., here in Savannah, Ga, for help with severe pain control. I was written valid prescriptions for: Roxicodone 30 mg; Dilaudid 8 mg; Xanax 2 mg; Fentanyl 100mcg/hr transdermal patch; Soma 350 mg; Neurontin 800 mg. ALL, YES ALL local pharmacies, will NOT honor ANY of these prescriptions. I was a previous patient of David M. Nelson, M.D. here in Sava...

I have a generic low dose Aspirin bottle containing small pinkish/peach coated pills with L marked on one side & no score. Double checking what they are before use. I lost my code book I keep to deter potential theft. I disguise for a reason. ## That does meet the description of an 81mg, aka low dose, Aspirin tablet. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Aspirin as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. Ref: Aspirin Information However, I would suggest double checking their identification, before taking any. I try to help, if I can, but I am not there to physically see, and identify the tablets you have, and I am not a medical professional. Your pharmacist may be able to help. Are you on any other medications?

I live outside of Birmingham, AL. and have been written a script for 16mg Hydromorphone capsules by my (LAST VISIT) Pain Management Doc. I'm switching to new doc closer to home, but in the meantime I’m sitting here with a handful of IR’s and a Piece of Paper! HELP!... Are the capsules even sold in the US? Thanks in advance! ## Hello, Dan! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having. Yes, they are available here, but it may be hard to find a pharmacy that has them, some have severely cut down how much of these types of medications that they keep in stock. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Once upon a time, Percocet had twice the amount of acetaminophen in it as well as a healthy dose of caffeine. Understandably the amount of acetaminophen had been cut in half to spare us liver damage. The missing caffine I don't quite understand. I do find that a couple of cups of coffee does help. NEVER EVER take Tylenol or other acetaminophen with narcotic pain meds. But I believe that some of the reasons they seem weaker now are because of the missing or diminished ingredients. Along with the fact that a tolerance builds so quickly to these pain medications that in a week they seem to be doing less than they did before. Keep this in mind. Having said that, I will add that I have had my prescription filled at Walmart in the past. NEVER AGAIN. This goes for any prescription. I had h...

I've been on hydrocodone and morphine ER for many years. Last year I got up off of the morphine and was just taking hydrocodone. Now I have a scheduled surgery coming up on my back. My pain medication is not enough and I have seven days till I get my refill. I thought maybe I could resume my morphine ER, one in the morning and one at night, as I didn't finish that prescription when I stopped taking them. Will that be OK? ## What has your doctor advised? It is very important to take only medications that your doctor approves, especially before surgery. i want to reduce dependence on pain meds (6 yrs. so my Doc ordered me morphine sulphate 10 mg capsules instead of the MS 15 mg ER. Insurance won't approve the change due to cost & now while the Doc & insurance are arguing about it I'm running out of MS tonite. Doc hasn't called back. I do have some 5/325 hydrocodone but not sure how much to take in lieu of the MS 15 ER. ## Have you had any luck, yet? I know how frustrating it is, when your insurance is controlling your treatment, rather than your doctor. The FDA warns that Morphine carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Ref: Morphine Information

Why have they changed the yellow narco to white. The white don't work ,and it takes more than one to get any relief, I have a six inch rod and screws in my neck that's needs to be redone but willing to chance it. There are some people who really need what has been working. ## Are the markings on the tablets the same? If not, then the white one was most likely manufactured by a different company, and this isn't a color change. Norco contains Acetaminophen, and Hydrocodone, and is available as a generic, so it is manufactured by several different pharmaceutical companies. The FDA warns that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constiaption, and dry mouth. Ref: Norco Information

I’ve been taking Endocet 10/325 for probably 15 or so years now for several failed cervical spine surgeries, and since they filed Bankruptcy last year this product is no longer available. Most of the other Oxycodone/Acetaminophen meds either don’t work hardly at all, or they make me itchy or sick to my stomach! I’ve recently read that ENDO has filed a ‘reorganization plan’ with the FDA and the Courts - Is anyone aware if this medication might become available again? It would be nice to know as all this pain is getting hard to handle. Thanks! ## Endo set is just a namebrand Percocet. The generic Percocets don’t work the same as that one brand? It might be that that one was just stronger. Generic medication can legally vary up to 20% from the name brand...

I have been going to pain management for 20 years. This time around, I got a new Oxycodone Hydrochloride pill marked "RP-20", which doesn’t seem the same as other 20 mg pain pills I've had. Does anyone know if it's an instant release or extended release tablet? ## They are made by rhodes and I believe they are instant release. Mine were anyway. ## I was told by a medical professional I trust it most likely is an immediate release type from Rhodes Pharmaceuticals as they have taken over a large part of making these meds once dominated by Mallinkrodt
