Amphetamines False Positive Drug Test (Page 3)

I have somehow tested positive for amphetamine but the only drug that I touch Is marijuana. How is this possible? It was a urine test done in a hospital.

Well that's bulls*** cause I got a positive for amphetamines and I take a sleep aid. I work graveyard shift and need something to help me sleep during the day. I don't do drugs and I don't drink, which brings me to the point: how well are people trained when it comes to testing peoples lives and their families lives are at stake.

If u Google drugs that can cause false Positives there is so many I was taking heart burn med..Zantac and it tested positive for amphetamines that's scary I was so shocked knowing that's all I have took so I Google it and sure enouph it has happened to alot of people super scary

Energy drinks like five hour energy when taken in excess are known to cause positive ...
I took two vyvanse and two days later after drinking about two gallons of water that night and fleeing three x that night and twice the mornings of..passed.

I don't take anything. Not even Tylenol. I don't drink. I don't smoke and I failed a 12 panel drug test twice for amphetamine. I drink an energy drink every other day or so. Why did I fail?

My last 2 urine tests showed positive for amphetamines. I don't take any kind of amphetamines but I am on 300 mg of Ranitidine daily! My Dr said I had to have taken them for it to show up in my urine. I am going to let him know what I have found out about the Ranitidine. Thank you for this post. It has given me a sense of relief!

I went to a COPD research center and got on an inhaler (Ventolin 90 mg, 4 puffs). 2 days later I got an inj. for my knees, by the name of Kenalog 40 mg. After two days I went to the emergency room and took a blood test which came back positive for amphetamines. Before the test I took 600 mg Ibuprofen. I was diagnosed with a UTI. I don't do drugs. I've only been taking Opana from my pain clinic for 6 years as I have neuropathy.

Are there any ingredients in amlodipine besylate or core RX that will cause a false positive for amphetamine?

I keep coming up positive for amphetamines/stimulants on my U/A's at my clinic. I do take trazodone, cymbalta, hydroxyzine, and strovite. Can you tell me if any one of these prescriptions or a combination of any would give me that false positive for amphetamines? I take methadone at my clinic and I can't get my take home bottles. I've been going there for 7 months now!!!

My daughter has been diagnosed with ADHD. The doctor prescribed Vyvanse. Thereafter, I thought her behavior showed it was too much. The doctor said to divide it in half. I opened the capsule and divided the powder. In other words, I've been touching the powder. My prescriptions I take are for depression: Trintellix, Cytomel, and Wellbutrin-150 mg, (recently the doctor doubled the 150 mg of Wellbutrin). I recently had a drug test and it showed up positive for amphetamine. They've sent the results out to be further analyzed. Could it come back false positive, or just positive?

I tested false positive for amphetamine at my pain clinic in a urine drug test. I haven't taken anything but over the counter sudifedrine for hayfever. Can sudifedrine cause a positive for amphetamine on a urine drug test?

What does taking bactrim, 800mg ibuprofen, a seroquel & ambien do to ur system at the same time? Will it cause u to fail a drug test for amphetamines or exactly which ones do cause u to fail it? - Because my friend did fail for amphetamine. My friend wigged out on it, out of her mind, foaming at the mouth, lips turned purple, fingers straightened out causing her knuckles to turn completely white, with no blood flow & her blood pressure went to 80/30, dam near died. Had a UTI, 2 ear infections, lots of pain and was dehydrated; prescribed bactrim & the 800mg ibuprofen. She was miserable and couldn't sleep, so her so-called friend decided to give her 1/2 ambien & 1/2 seroquel along w/ it all. Needless to say, she was in the hospital for a 1 week stay, being put on a 1013 & then mental health facility for 5 days cause they thought she was gonna kill herself or someone else. She was just OUT OF HER RIGHT MIND & SICK! Is testing positive for those drugs grounds for jail by probation?

I have been taking Sudafed and Wellbutrin and had a blood test that tested positive for amphetamines. I have never done amphetamines, so is it possible one of these drugs could have caused a false positive in my blood work?

I had to test before for the same people. The testing place was in the jail. I had to handle money before I tested. I washed my hands after handling the money because the police told me that over 90 percent of the money we handle has drug residue on them. If u hold the urine cup and the pee hits your fingers where u are holding it or the pee hits were you held the cup, then more than likely u will test positive for whatever residue was on the dollar bill
