It may be used as a nasal/sinus decongestant, as a stimulant, or as a wakefulness-promoting agent[2] in higher doses.[3] The salts pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and pseudoephedrine sulfate are found in many over-the-counter preparations, either as a single ingredient or (more commonly) in combination with antihistamines, guaifenesin, dextromethorphan, and/or pa...

Does Sudafed come in a bottle
2 Replies RSS
I need Sudafed at night when I wake up with a sinus headache. At my age it is EXTREMELY difficult to open the packaging in the middle of the night. I need these pills in a bottle. HELP! ## Hello, Scott! How are you doing? I have only seen it available in the blister packs, but there is nothing preventing you from opening one, or more ahead of time and putting them in an empty/leftover bottle. It is not illegal to do so, just make sure to keep them out of the reach of any pets, or young children that might be around. It would also be wise to make sure to label the bottle accordingly, perhaps you could write over a pre-existing label with a Sharpie? The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, insomnia, and nervousness. Are you on any other medications? ## Than...

Sudafed or Claritin pill markings
1 Reply RSS
Hi... I need to know if Sudafed or Claritin have markings on their pills? A friend gave me them and said they were a decongestant such as Sudafed or Claritin but I am unsure if the product is Tylenol or something else? Please help. ## They might have markings, depending on the manufacturer. Can you please post back with more details, such as any markings on them? That is what would enable me to identify a medication for you. Thank you! The FDA lists the typical side effects of decongestants as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and dry mouth.

I'm looking for a red pill about the size of a Sudafed pill for constipation. I was given this pill when my first child was born to have a bowel movement after the nurse put me through other painful procedures, I'm expecting my 2nd child in May & I refuse to do those procedures again & would like to know what that pill is & how to get it. Thank you.

hi! what are these pills? brown, circle, barrel, logo GX / EX3??? please, help ## Hi i found the exact same pill, did you manage to find out what it is? ## hi. yes, i actually did - i found out it is "sudafed" (for sure) ...and sorry for that late reply. i hope it was helpful. bye ## Thanks, yes that definitely helps! ## It's an HIV treatment drug, however it is also used as a PEP drug, which is a preventive drug to be administered within 72 hours of being exposed (or possibly exposed ) to HIV or AIDS during intercourse, so the person the pill possibly belongs to does not necessarily have AIDS/HIV. ## Do you have any link to back up what this drug is? What is the source of your information, please? Any help appreciated, especially when others are saying it is "sudafed...

I normally take AleveD sinus&cold for my nasal congestion. I have not taken any since I started taking Amox/K Clav a couple days ago, but now my runny nose is driving me crazy. What are some possible side effects and risks to combining them? ## Hello, Kandie! How are you? I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between these medications, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. The FDA lists the typical side effects for this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

sudafed original

Hi I am basically looking for the original sudafed as I dont handle the sudafed PE and these are the ones that do the job for me. Also the generic brand equivalent to the sudafed original are also just as good. ## I had the same issue with the newer, version on the shelf. I ended up purchasing the Walgreens generic version of the original Sudafed after finding out the over the counter is not the same as the original. I get the 4hr red pill and it works fine. You have to ask the pharmacist for it as it is no longer on the shelf and you have to sign for it.

sudafed 12 hour

I was informed from a co worker that I could not purchase another box of Sudafed 12 hour for another month. New state law. It is the only product that works for my sinus problems & I do take 2 @ a time. One just doesn't work. Is this true? ## Hello, Stephanie! How are you? What state are you in? I'll gladly research this for you, but I need to be able to narrow it down, a little. Did you try asking your pharmacist? The FDA classifies this medication as a decongestant and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia and dry mouth. There is a certain limit on the amount you can purchase each month, so that might be what your coworker is talking about and they just misunderstood. That doesn't mean you can't buy more, b...
