Cytomel Need Easy Prescription in St. Louis

Need to find an easy doc in St Louis who will prescribe 25 mcg Cytomel (year supply) without new labs (can't afford new ones but can show last year's labs) and no questions or phone calls to my plan docs. I was on dual therapy years ago, but the only endo in my plan doesn't believe in it and my PCP won't without the endo's OK. 25 mcg is the correct amount based on current Synthroid dose and peer-reviewed journal articles. I have prescription coverage and can pay cash for (one) doctor visit. Need name-brand required prescription. Old dual therapy doctor's records destroyed in natural disaster and that doc retired.

NEW REACTIONS to Cytomel

Having bouts of constipation since Janurary 2011. Could the formula for Cytomel have changed since Phizer bought out King Pharmaceutical? Allergic to wheat & gluten. My TSH levels are within a good range. Interested to know if anyone else has noticed change in the last year. ## Yes, they could have changed something in the inactive ingredients, though I haven't found any specific information on that. It's also highly possible that your body had just changed slightly, with time, so you are experiencing new side effects from it. Or it could be completely unrelated to the medication. Have you talked to your doctor about it?
