how long after taking a 1/4 suboxone can you take a Percocet?

I took a 1/4 of a suboxone a friend had given me around 6:00 pm today. How long do I have to wait until I can take a Percocet for pain and not get it and have it work? ## 1/4 of a suboxone isn't a very detailed description how many MG's was the strip?(i know this is an old comment but whatever) ## I know this topic is a few weeks old, but I do agree with josh (post #1) in that the answer to the original thread question would largely depend on how many milligrams of Suboxone you're taking. Based on some other cases I've seen, I'd take a shot in the dark and say it may be up to a week before it's out of your body. Although several personal factors such as age, weight, diet, etc, could also influence the excretion rate. I hope this info helps! Please post back if yo...

suboxone withdrawal day 40 still in paws sux

Day 40 off suboxone. Rls, or rather restless body syndrome, hot flashes & I feel like I'm 500 pounds. Sux! Just wondering how much longer this s*** is gonna stick around? I know everyone is different. It just helps reading people's stories/experience. Also once you felt better , was it like waking up one day & just not feeling the wd's anymore? ## Somebody talk to me PLEASE! Lol. Feeling lonely. I am a 33 y/o female, been on subs almost 4 years. This withdraw has been the most terrible experience of my life! I need support. My family/friends just don't understand. I don't have any one to talk to. Not like anyone will care about this but, I'm living with a man who I'm leaving after 16 years. I have been waiting for the past 4 years for him to get sober...

How to get my Suboxone Rx cheaper

My wife decided to change our health care plan to save me a few bucks and apparently they fast talked her or she didn’t catch it all.. but long story short, while speaking with Cigna / marketplace / healthcare.gov, they told my wife and I that our copay would simply jump to $40 from $20... OK, I can live with that, at least I thought, until I went to fill my meds today. Apparently we don't have a copay ... well let me rephrase that: it doesn’t kick in till we pay our $8000 deductible. I have never heard of a deductible having to be met to get meds (visits to docs, etc, ok). But I been paying 20 bucks for 2 years straight for my meds and today I was quoted for one 30 day supply a price that exceeded what 2.5 years of my previous medicine costed me.. $500 plus dollars! How to take orange Suboxone pill with 54 375

How do you administer the orange Suboxone pill imprinted with 54 375? Do you swallow it or put it under your tongue? ## Just put under your tongue like a strip but I only put one at a time ## Yes, this is a sublingual tablet that is intended to be dissolved under the tongue, however, there is no harm if it is accidentally swallowed, it will just take a bit longer to be absorbed and start to have an effect. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Actually bruprenorphine has almost no effect if swallowed. That iz wby they warn not to talk while taking sublingually , and why some people think the strips are stronger. Its...

how long after taking a suboxone can you use morphine 60mg

I took a 8mg Suboxone 48 hours ago. I have a 60mg morphine to take for pain. Will the effects of the morphine work or do I need to wait longer? ## Hello, Shantastic! How are you? It usually takes about 72 hours, unless your doctor instructs otherwise. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yeah in theory it's supposed to last 72 hours, but that's the bupronorphine. The naloxone only lasts for a couple of hours. The bupe lasts longer to keep your tolerance up and your opiate receptors "busy" so other opiates will (again in theory) not have anything to bind to, making them ineffective...

How long after taking a Suboxone can you take an opiate?

I have been on 8 mg/2mg Suboxone strips for 1 year. I am having a tooth (back molar) extraction in the morning. I used my Suboxone strip this morning & the tooth extraction is at 9:30 am tomorrow. If I don't use another Suboxone strip before the extraction, would I be able to take Hydrocodone after my surgery? I don't want to get sick, but I am terrified of going through this surgery with no pain meds. Please help. ## should be 48 hrs to alow to leave your system ## So if I took a 10 mg Hydrocodone after not taking a Suboxone for 24-28 hours, will it throw me into withdrawals? That would do me in after surgery to end up in wd's. ## Sorry to say but 8 mg of Suboxone is way stronger then any hydrocodone. It would take a year for you to even feel the effects. Tolerance take...

My insurance is no longer covering my suboxone or Zubsolv. I started taking it to get off of all opiates and narcotics, but it helps with chronic back pain from a botched back surgery. I can't afford the hundred dollar prices. Does anyone know of something similar that doesn't cost so much? I only have til July 1st to find something. Please help, thank you. ## Hi Elizabeth! Dizziness and vomiting from Suboxone

Hi Guys. Tuesday night was the last time I had taken opiates. I was taking around 480mg Codiene per day. Yesterday (Wednesday) at 9am I took 4mg Suboxone, then an hour later I felt dizzy and sick. At around 6pm I took the last 4mg and felt the same. Today (Thursday), the pharmacist gave me the whole 8mg to take at once. Well, once again, after an hour the dizziness was very mild but the sickness was horrendous and I couldn't stop. I can only describe it as being on a fair ride and not being able to get off. My pharmacist said that this could be due to me starting the subs too soon (*not sure what this means). My question is - has anyone else suffered this, and if so, how long am I looking at? I've had to take time off work, and Christmas is in a few days. This is very new to me ...
