Hi I need to find a psychiatrist in san diego who prescribes klonpin and adderal. My old doctor switched professions, and nobody else is comfortable giving me these two. Though, they work well for me and I have no history of addiction at all. Please let me know. ## Hi Chloe, Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not just on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you....

I go to the CVS ON Encinitas blvd. In encinitas. They stock qualitest. It's right off the 5 by 2 blocks. The qualitest is on the FDA diversion list. Go to the CVS stores near you personally and speak ONLY to the pharmacist. Some will order it for you. By phone they ALWAYS say they don't stock it. A lot of work but you have a reliable pharmacy after that. ## This is just a reminder and I'm not sure of the Calif state laws governing Schedule II meds. They may be tighter than Federal Law. But, Norco and all other Hydrocodone Combination meds will be moving to a Schedule II later on this year. That means that the same restrictions that apply to Schedule II meds will also reply to these meds. RIght now, Norco and other hydrocodone combination meds are Schedule III. Schedule II ca...

I have dealt with chronic stress for years. I've sought help from counseling with really no help. Years ago, doctors were a lot more willing to prescribe things like xanax, but not any more. When I did take it, I was taking between 1 - 3 .5mg tablets per day, some days, none. ## Hello, Jay! How are you? There is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. And yes, such medications were prescribed more freely in the past, but they have since been found to be habit forming and are very commonly abused, so such practices had to stop. More regulations were just put in place last year, so if you require such a medication, you'll need to see a specialist to have it prescribed. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to ...

I am moving to San Diego in a month or so and am prescribed morphine sulfate 2 times daily for spinal stenosis and degenerative disk disease and I'm afraid that I will have a hard time finding a doctor that will continue my treatment.I am also on flexeril, gabapentin and another med for depression.I have contacted a few doctors out there but no one seems to be willing to continue the treatment I now receive. I am a chronic pain patient with a Legitimate Condition and tired of being treated like a drug abuser because of people that DO abuse meds like this one! I've also ran the gambit of Pain Management clinics that seem to only want to inject steroids in your spine & also physical therapy and you name it. The med regiment I'm on now, work perfectly & I'm told by ...

I need help finding a doctor in San Diego ca or north county San Diego That perscribe xanax, valume ect. I know all do but some that are more freely open and are more ok with medication first. Try the other remedys later. Thanks ## Hello, Bill! How are you? Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Additionally, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, most aren't going to be willing to just prescribe a possibly habit forming medication like this. Have you taken one of these medications before? Do you have medical records showing that? If so, then that may help. ## I used to see Dr Jason Bennett in La Jolla he is on geneses and La Jolla village dr he will prescribe klonopin but he ...

I need to find a pharmacy in San Diego that will fill 30 milligram oxycodone ## Almost every pharmacy will fill it. Also depends on which dr wrote the rx, but I've filled at almost every pharmacy in San Diego with many many people who had rxs for 180-360 30mg oxy every month. Cvs is the worst, Walgreens sucks...I'd say right now haggan/Sav on js the best. ## My Dr. here in San Diego just retired and I need to find a new one. I have had the same prescriptions for years but I'm having trouble finding a Dr. who will prescribe me my 30mg oxycodone.

I just moved to San diego and I just got insured, so now I can actually afford to get prescribed adderall. But I used to get a prescription for 20s and I want to be able to find someone or some place that will prescribe that dose again. Thank you. ## Hello, Dagny! How are you? There is no way to know if a doctor will prescribe anything for you and, if they do, what the dosage will be. The only thing you can do is set up an appointment with a doctor, make sure they get a copy of your current medical records and then discuss your treatment options at the appointment. The FDA lists Adderall as being a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. It carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability,...

Can anyone help me? I am tortured by my lack of sleep, i would be very greatful if there is anyone in san diego that could provide me with some seroquel. I am afraid to go to the doctors and be diagnosed with bi polar, out of fear that it could affect my profession. Hopefully well talk soon.Rich. Editor's note: Contact information has been removed. Sorry, but we do not allow or promote any illegal methods of sales. ## What else have you used to try to remedy your insomnia problem? Seroquel, which is most commonly used to treat Schizophrenia is not the first choice to treat insomnia, nor is it the only option. Additionally, even if you see a doctor and are diagnosed as bipolar, or as having some other condition, it is none of your employers business, unless it affects your work in som...

I have a metal rod that has 5 of my vertebrae fused together so I experience pain but do not ewant a lot of the strong pain killers I get addicted to. Suboxone requires at least 48 hrs of detox before use and I have children and a job so I do not have 72 hrs to be out of commission. I'd like to start on subutex immediately. ## I am sorry, Nathan, but Subutex requires the same detox period. You must be in full withdrawal, or they might throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, vomiting, chills, fever, and seizures. There is also a risk of them being fatal. The active ingredient, which is Buprenorphine, takes a stronger hold on the opiate receptors in your brain than other opiates do, so basically kicks them out, which can cau...

looking for a center in Southern California that takes Medicare for treatment of bipolar and depression ## Hello, John! How are you? I'm sorry, but I have no way of knowing what insurance any given clinic or doctor accepts. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Have you tried calling Medicare to see if they have a listing of doctors in your area that accept it? Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? Just moved to San Diego from Jersey. Have been suffering anxiety my whole life but is unbearable since I moved. I've taken a couple Xanax in my day and honestly that's the only thing that helps. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a doctor in the San Diego area who is pretty liberal with their prescriptions who takes cash. ## All Doctors will take cash. You shouldn't have a big problem with California Doctors unlike other areas. If worse comes to worse you can slip down to Mexico and either just go to a pharmacy or see a doctor and go to a pharmacy there. I believe you are allowed to bring back up to a 90 day supply legally. Good luck!

Hello I live in New Jersey. I have had two back surgeries and I currently am prescribed 30mg oxycodone for pain. Before you judge me just know I have tried everything non narcotic for pain and the only way I can even get out of bed is with pain killers. I am relocating to San Diego and I need a doctor who is not afraid to prescribe oxycodone. Please help! ## Hello, Jay! How are you? There are no guarantees that a new doctor will prescribe it for you. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, a general practitioner will not be able to prescribe it for you, so you'll need to see a pain management specialist. The easiest thing to do would be to set yourself up with a new PCP, as soon as you arrive and have them refer you to someone. Make sure that you provide them wi...

i have polycystic kidney disease and i have severe pain in my lower backand kidneys i need a perscription for charisprodol, soma i have insurance and cash ## Soma does not sound like the correct medicine? ## Hello, Randall! How are you? I have to agree with Eddy, though. Soma is a muscle relaxant, so it's not going to help with the type of pain you're experiencing. You'll need some type of actual analgesic for that. Has your specialist prescribed anything?

The CVS wont fill in Encinitas anymore. CVS, Walgreens and Walmart have company restrictions. No more orders until this State of California decision is changed or further notice. Even Pharmaca will only sell the spotted Activis Watson-and Allen pharmacy in San Diego won't special order them. Any other thoughts? I'm 3 days without and no one will fill my new rx. ## Hello, Sara! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. On top of the shortage that had already been created due to the dosage changes that were made this year, which caused some companies to stop manufacturing this medication, we are also into the end of the year and there is almost always a shortage from October into early in the new year. This is due to mandatory manufacturing limits, once ...

I have been to my insurance, gone through the song and dance of getting a primary, who will not prescribe hydrocodone for the bilateral hip pain, or other residual pain. I am also undergoing the very painful reconstructive dental surgery to remove poorly placed implants that rub constantly up against my remaining infected implants causing me excruciating pain. This is chronic but I hope to be getting them removed. I am considering medical tourism since my insurance doesn't cover implants. They are considered cosmetic. I ...
