White round pill with r/359 on one side ## Hi Tiff, Is the "R" on your pill capitalized or cursive-like by chance? Also, the forward slash in your description "/", is it part of the actual imprint? It wasn't used in the thread title so that makes me wonder. Actavis manufacturers various white round pills that carry similar descriptions, such as a cursive "R" on one side and "269" over a score line on the other; as well as another tablet with just "A349" on one side. So if you could please double check the imprint on your pill and post back with any additional information that would be very helpful.

It is not meprobamate itself; but it is in the same class of drugs called dicarbamate derivatives. They do not relax skeletal muscle tissue directly--they relax the body through their sedative properties. And carisoprodol--brand name Soma--is not nearly as potent as meprobamate (brand names: Equanil, Miltown) which is a Schedule IV controlled substance.
