How Get Rid Of Anxiety

I've been on oxycontin 80s for yrs. A new pain mgmt doctor says I'm taking too much and has also refused to prescribe ativan 1mg 2 per day. I have been on a rollercoaster ride with meds being changed. I was given Zanaflex and Topamaze. Will these meds help me? Oxycontin dropped from 160mg 2xday, to 1 tab 3xday, no anxiety meds. Also changed Soma to Zanaflex. I didn't sleep much before this change, now not more than 2hrs a day. HELP!! A lot of yrs. of pain. I can't work anymore. I've raised a family, been a wife, raised Foster Children (My Children too). I love them all. I'm now a GrandMother that hasn't been there for her Grandbabies. While I was in mexico I had purchased these tiny white oblong pills. They have no markings except that they are scored on one side and they came in a blister pack. I took them all out to go home and forgot what they were called. I had originally asked the pharmacist for something to help with anxiety for the plane ride. The problem with pills from mexico is that since they don't have markings to identify the pill like we do in the U.S there is no way to truly identify the pills. Hi guys. I have been on subutex for almost 3 months now. I've got myself down to 4-8 mgs a day. Most days 4. I have a neck injury and need proper pain meds. How long do the withdrawals last? i use methadone pills from a year now and just want to get rid of the addiction. ## Dear Zayed, I use 2 b on methadone. I was on (110mg) a day. When it came time 2 taper, I went through horrible withdrawals. I made it down 2 (24mg). It was pure heck! The key is 2 do it VERY SLOWLY. There r also medications that can help. Such as clonodine and other meds. Maybe, an anti-anxiety med. talk 2 your Dr about it. Me, personally, I had 2 go on suboxone after I got that low. GOOD LUCK! The story goes like this I had a family member on Hospice and they since have passed but the Hospice company said I need to destroy the medication my self so I have to ask are they able to be flushed or how can I destroy them ??? There are almost 25 bottles full of pain medication hundreds and hundreds of pills and anxiety medication !! I am thinking about taking them back to the doctors office and they could give them to someone that needs them that maybe can't afford them !!! Withdrawing or tapering off Venlafaxine (37.5 tab 3 daily, 1 am., 2 night. This experience is what I imagine going to an opium den must be like. Pay your $$, get a pipe and be in a stupor for the next 6 hrs. Then in the evening, more or less recover only to experience insomnia, of course, been in bed all day! I had my first of 2 Injectafer infusions today. It’s only been about 12 hrs and so far the only problem I have is shortness of breath. Has anyone else experienced this? I also have bad anxiety, which can also cause shortness of breath. Don’t know if I should ride this out or go to the ER. My anti-anxiety drug (Loraxepam) doesn’t seem to be helping. My son is 17+.he constantly worries about study& marks.he gets irritated & hyper on small matters.how can he get rid of anxiety, eye pain sinusitis& nervousness & also of frustration due to less marks than his expectations. I am into my fourth month with Daliresp. Doing very well now. Just about all the side effects are gone - was glad to get rid of the anxiety and insomnia. I haven't lost weight, but I have to eat alot to maintain my current weight. I have gone from 3 1/2 liters of oxygen to 2 1/2 liters without having to decrease my activity. I am happy with that. Very happy. Am anxious to see if anyone else is having any luck with this drug. The only issue I have is that it is very expensive. ## Very glad that it is working so well for you. My tolerance for alprazolam xanax any benzo is ridiculous. I no longer feel the effects and I suffer severe anxiety and depression. Xanax, ativan, valium, & klonopin have no effect. I am fresh off a 3 year opiate ride and to be quite honest I am the most weak and tired than I have ever been. The anxiety is killing me. All I want is a couple roxy and some morphine 60's. Before today I was up to about 12 roxy 30's and 10 morph 60's. I am quitting cold turkey and also quiting for the first time. I have been on Neurontin for about 2 months now and it is helping my chronic pain, however... I am having terrible mood swings. I'm already dealing with depression and anxiety (which is currently untreated due to a ridiculous wait time for an appointment). I am prescribed 6 mg of Xanax daily for anxiety and panic attacks.
