I want to see a picture of this pill. ## Hi Mary jo, I don't have a photo at my disposal, but I found a tablet matching your description from this site's NDC page. I can confirm that it is an orange laxative tablet with the imprint RP122, NDC 49035-756 (EQUATE FIBER THERAPY 500 MG ORAL TABLET), manufactured by Wal-Mart. I confirmed my finding with DailyMed too. Active ingredient: - Methylcellulose Inactive Ingredients: - Adipic Acid - Calcium Carbonate - Crospovidone - FD&C Yellow No. 6 - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Polysorbate 80 - Silicon Dioxide Out of curiosity, were you just wondering exactly what your pill is? Is that why you wanted to see a picture?

IM LOOKING FOR THIS LAXITIVE CALLED GENTILAX IN IRVING TEXAS I KNOW ITS FROM MEXICO BUT I'M ASSUMING IT'S HERE TOO. ## Actually, it isn't regularly available here in the U.S. anymore. Gentilax contains the active ingredient Phenolphthalein and it is being removed from the market in over the counter products due to the fact that it has been found to be carcinogenic. Learn more Phenolphthalein details here. However, there are many available that are safer to use and really, the best one of all is just to increase your fiber intake, via your diet or the use of supplements. What others have you tried? ## Trying to locate a store in San Diego California that sells this laxative as it is the only laxative that I find work for my situation. ## Theres a store by my house here in Chi...

See this: junkscience.com/2001/02/the-tail-end-of-the-fiber-myth/ Quote from the article: "phenolphthalein was used as a laxative ingredient for more than 100 years with absolutely no indication of increased cancer risk among users." ## Today I went to my doctor and he told me it has an ingredient that’s causes cancer that’s why I was searching to see if I had any info on this. What is the very best laxative I can use when taking narcotic pain relievers? Please be detailed. ## I get horrible constipation, when I take them and the only thing I've found that really helps is a fiber supplement. There are many available over the counter, but that might be right for you. It really depends on your overall health, and any other medications you might be taking. The FDA warns that they can also cause diarrhea, and abdominal cramping. Has your medical provider suggested anything?

## My husband was recently put on this medication for his blood pressure. Since taking it he has lost 40 pounds in a month, his skin is pale, he has to eat tons of fiber and laxatives to have a bowel movement, he is anxious, he has no appetitie, and he sleeps almost instantly after taking it. This is not near all of the side effects that he has experienced from taking this medication. When he called his physician his physician told him that he may have to reduce his dosage. Reduce his dosage? ! Get him off of this medication, it is killing him ! I have never seen my husband so weak, so thin, so pale. He says he feels like he is dying. So if you cannot go off of this medication without weening off of it, how do I go about getting him completely off of it before it kills him? Tommorrow wh...

clear capsul with green/brown colored powder in it, unmarked ## There are several possibilities of what this could be, since without markings, it is more than likely an over the counter product. From the description, it could be a fiber laxative, some do resemble this or perhaps a green tea supplement. However, without any markings, there is no way to positively identify it. Do you have any other information on it?

Contacted by local sheriff to help ID the medication. It is a white capsule with beige stripe on parting seam, was found at a crime scene. ## G651: white capsule, beige band aorund middle, black imprint G651: This may well be Rite Aid brand Natural Psyllium Fiber Laxative Plus Calcium. If so, the only directly lethal effect apparent--according to label-- might be from Choking: Taking this product without adequate amount of liquid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. It can also cause allergic reactions in some, and may interfere with how some other meds work, especially if taken less than 2 hours before or after time of those meds--again according to the label.

I am a 20 year old female. 3 years ago I was diagnosed with "chronic constipation." I have a bowel movement probably 1-2 times a week. I have had 2 colonoscopies and a flex sig done, and everything appeared to be normal. I have tried every remedy there is: fruit, fiber, laxs, stool softener, enema, exercise, and nothing seems to do the trick. Recently my dr started me on Linzess. I have been taking it for 2 weeks now. So far my bowel movements have not improved while taking Linzess. I spoke with my dr and they suggested that I add miralax to my daily routine along with Linzess. I have not had any improvement with my bowel movements while taking miralax and linzess. Can anyone give me advice or their input? Has anyone else had the same issues? I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE!! P...

I just had lumbar surgery at L5-S1and with that chronic nerve pain. My Dr precscibed dilaudid which works great for me however it causes me severe constipation. The stool softners and laxatives just don't work. It takes me HOURS to complete a bowel movement and that in itself cause more pain. Is there a substitute for dilaudid that won't cause such constipation? ## Constipation can be a side effect of all narcotic opiate pain medications, unfortunately. I frequently had problems with it, when I was on them. Have you tried adding a fiber supplement? That was what I found worked best to solve the problem and taking it regularly helped me to stay regular, as well.

Pill is Oblong or Capsule and has L L on one side and F | 66 stamped on the other side. I found it in my Son's sock drawer. Just concerned, thanks. ## I haven't been able to find anything specific, but the first thing that comes to mind with a pink oblong pill is generic Benadryl. Is it a hard, crushable pill or a capsule that you can open? ## This is actually an over the counter laxative/fiber supplement containing 500mgs of Polycarbophil. This is a generic or store brand of Fibercon.
