why has this gone from costing $54.00 in May to costing $144.00 in June? With my insurance the cost is $102.00. That's crazy ## I am going through the same issues! I was told that it's because the government made it a controlled substance. Crazy! ## Hello, Denise and Karen! How are you ladies? This was reclassified due to the Methyltestosterone in it and it has caused a lot more regulation and work to be involved with getting it to market, now. Is there anything else I can help with?

help with price of , tussionex ext-rel sus we live on social security and its costing us 60.00 for a 4 oz. bottle of the cough surup, can you help?? ## Hi, DD! How are you? I'm sorry, but this website does not manufacture, nor sell any medications and is not affiliated with any manufacturer, It is an information only website. The best suggestion I can make is that you talk to your pharmacist about it, there may be some discount cards that they accept that could save you money on prescriptions. They are usually free, some run by the state and some by independent companies and your pharmacist can help you discover how to enroll. The other alternative would be to talk to your doctor about prescribing a cheaper alternative. Does anyone else have any ideas or advice to add?

I take this med for my migraines. My insurance will not pay anything, and it is costing me almost $100 for 25 pills. Is there a generic I can purchase instead? ## Hello, Gilmer Gal! How are you? Unfortunately, what you've listed is the generic. The name brand would be Midrin. Have you tried checking the price with other pharmacies in your area? They may be cheaper. Another alternative is to try one of the discount cards, such as the free one offered on this site. You click the link, put in your email address and print the card. They do save a lot of money for some people. Typical side effects to this medication may include nausea, drowsiness and dizziness. Does anyone else have any suggestions that may help? ## Thank you so much. Wow, in my next life I want to be a pharmaceutical co...

I am interested in a pharmacy discount card. I am getting off of opiates with suboxone. It is costing as much, if not more than drugs I was originally prescribed. I really want to be free of this, but am afraid every week that I may not be able to get my script filled. ## Hello, Richard! How are you? There is one towards the lower right of most pages of this site. All you have to do is click the link, type in your email address, print it and take it with you to your pharmacy. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There is also an assistance program through NeedMeds that may help, if you qualify. You can contact them about it by calling 888...

Do Glenmark Pharma have a discount card for ondansetron? My pharmacy used to give me a discount but now it's costing me $99 for 30 pills and I can't afford this. ## If your doctor will prescribe the name brand, Zofran, you may be eligible for their discount program that is available through RX Outreach Mediations. You can call them for more information at 888-796-1234. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. My new pharmacy plan puts my Diltiazem ER 180mg XT capsule into a Tier 3 costing me $60 for a 90 day supply. A tier 1 or 2 drug is free. I would like to know if taking a free (Tier 1) 90mg Diltiazem tablet twice per day at 12hr intervals would give me the same health benefit? Is the release of the tablet medication adverse to an even release of the ER capsule? ## Hello, Derf! How are you? Yes, you should be able to do that, without a problem, you'd just take the medication twice a day,, instead of once. Of course, you need to check with your doctor, because they'll have to write a new prescription. Is there anything else I can help with?

I started Harvoni a little over 2 weeks ago. The only side effect I've noticed is fatigue. Fatigue and feeling confused at times and under motivated. The Harvoni is costing me $5/28 days.. good insurance and some help from Gilead. I have cirrhosis and had a walnut sized cancer removed from my liver. Fortunately no metastasis was found! Recovery from the surgery took 5 weeks. Indeed the surgery allowed some liver regeneration so I've got more liver than Is started with. The fatigue is troubling, I get tired during the day but energized during the evening and don't want to get up in the morning. If you have liver damage you shouldn't be paying $1000/pill. If you have HepC1a and don't have liver damage and can't get a break on the Harvoni cost, shame on the industry...

Ive been using the same pharmacy for years. Since all this shortage stuff happened, they started charging 10.00 extra shortage fee for each pain medication. They usually have what I need, but its costing my 30.00 more a month to get my scripts refilled. That's taking advantage of a situation, and profiting from it. Is that legal? ## Hello, Dave! How are you? Sorry about the issue that you're having. I am no sure about whether it's legal or not, but I seriously question it. What are you getting filled and where are you getting it filled that there is such a shortage that they feel the need to charge a fee? Technically, at this time, there is really no shortage of any pain medications, that I'm aware of… there are issues with some pharmacies on the east coast being a...

I was taking Tonact 20 and Ecosprin 150 separately. Tonact 20 costs about rs.200 for 15 tablets. I came across Ecosprin AV 150 containing both above ingredients in single capsule and costing just rs.20 for 10 tablets. This lowers the medicine bill to absolute low. But what is the catch? Does Ecosprin AV 150 have Atorvastatin that is of low quality and that is why they are selling it at such low price or is it genuine medicine at low price because of some other factors? if so, what are the factors? ## Do you have Insurance to help you? If so, the price difference maybe because you insurance company "prefers" you to take the "2 in 1" pill than taking them separately. In my country (i am a phamracist) we don´t have the "2 in 1".

Hubby and I will be starting Contrave next weekend. The med is over $200 but we both work with the City so our Health insurance covered most of the cost and then our pharmacy used a $10 coupon so it's costing us $70. Looking forward to sharing results. Hoping I have the same or better results as when I took Phentermine. I was on it for 6 mos and lost 68lbs. Because of long hours on my job I couldn't exercise but was very strict and stayed on an 800 Cal diet. What is everyone else doing/eating? ## Hello, Rosie! How are you? I just want to make sure that you're aware of some of the possible side effects of Contrave, as listed by the FDA, you may experience nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia and anorexia. Can anyone that's on it chime in to answer her questi...

Hi all. For 5 years I gradually increased my oxycodone use. I have a degenerative back disorder. The pain is there but I used oxycodone as a crutch. It got worse and worse from 2 5 mg a day to 3 to 5 and ending in 2 30 mg a day costing me 100s of dollars a month. I finally reached out to my psychiatrist who set me up with a suboxone doctor. I took my last 7.5 oxycodone at 2 pm yesterday. Dr said to wait 12 hrs as did alllll the Internet info. I was sick in w/d by 8pm. Was scared to death of this nightmarish precipitated w/d I read about. At 8:30 pm I took 2 mg suboxone as the dr said to start with. Omg I was feeling better. 10 pm another 2 mg and I was AMAZED at how I felt. I didn't sleep very well BUT I'll take that ANYDAY over wondering how to get the next oxy. This morning I ...
