Aspavor can you stop taking it

I was diagnosed with high Cholesterol and put on Aspavor. I believe that it is causing side effects such as high uric acid, fatigue and joint pains. I decided to stop taking the medication and try nutrition and healthy food in stead however I was told this could be dangerous and stopping Aspavor may cause heart attack. Should I stop taking them prior to my test? ## Hello Ann, Technically no, neither medication is a blood thinner. According to DailyMed Atrovastatin is a medication to lower cholesterol and Felodipine is used to treat high blood pressure by blocking calcium and relaxing blood vessels. Despite this both medications caution you to not take this medication prior to surgery. I strongly advise you contact your doctor to see if and when you should stop taking this medication.

I am 38 years old. My triglycerides 664, HDL-29 and LDL-133. My doctor advised me to take Fibator tablet containing atorvastatin 10 mg and fenofibrate BP 145 mg. for 3 months course.
