I've actually just read about this doc in Mexico and am flying out Sunday to see him. It sounds like according to the person I know that has been going to see him once a year for the DMSO IV infusions that you need to continue to keep the treatments going at least once a year, more or less until symtoms disappear and the little red pills are DMSO. Your mom might need to go back to see him. I'm dealing wtih osteoarthritis brought on by lyme disease. I hope this helps. I also am on Tramadol and that doesn't cause me dizziness, so I would not think it is dmso. Please go back to see him.

PLEASE READ!!! - - - I just got back from seeing Dr. de Luna as well, my #3rd time i've gone..just last night (June 3-5, 2017) and one of my traveling companions asked if I had actually looked at the ingredients on the box of Dorvasal. I just looked and am shocked as I do NOT see any actual DMSO listed in the ingredients. I do believe it contains DMSO, but has to be listed as other ingredients to be allowed to be taken into the U.S.

1. First Ingredient:
In the pill is Fenilbutazona, which is Phenylbutazone in English. According to Wikipedia it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDS) derived from pyrazolones, indicated for the relieft of chronic pain, including symptoms of arthritis. Its use is limited in humans because of severe adverse effects such as suppression of white blood cells and aplastic anemia. In dogs and horses 1, phenylbutazone is used as an analgesic and antipyretic . Phenylbutazone retains sodium and chlorine accompanied by low urine volume, causing edema , cardiac decompensation, and pulmonary edema . It has been shown to cause aplastic anemia , agranulocytosis and allergic reactions. The most common side effects occurring in 10-45% of cases are nausea , vomiting and skin rashes. Some cases of Stevens-Johnson syndrome have been reported .
Like other NSAIDs, phenylbutazone should not be administered in patients with gastric ulcer , thrombocytopenia , coagulation disorders, heart failure , liver failure or renal insufficiency , severe arterial hypertension , or Sjögren's syndrome .

2. 2nd Ingredient: Prednisone: Prednisone is a synthetic corticosteroid drug that is usually taken orally but can be given intramuscularly (injection) and is used for a large number of conditions. It mainly has a glucocorticoid effect . Prednisone is a prodrug that is converted by the liver into prednisolone , which is the active steroid form.

Medical Uses:

As an immunosuppressant it acts practically throughout the immune system . It can therefore be used in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases (such as asthma , epidermal allergies from contact with poison ivy, systemic lupus erythematosus , Crohn's disease or Still 's disease ), middle and inner ear problems, and various kidney diseases such as the syndrome Nephrotic syndrome . It is also used to prevent and treat organ rejection in transplants.

Adrenal suppression occurs if prednisone is given for more than seven continuous days.It is a state in which the body is unable to synthesize corticosteroids naturally and becomes dependent on the prednisone taken by the patient. For this reason, the administration of prednisone should not be stopped abruptly if it has been taken for more than seven days, but needs to be reduced slowly; This reduction may take days if the course of prednisolone was short but may take weeks or months if the patient has been treated for a long time. An abrupt fall would lead to secondary adrenal insufficiency , which can put the patient's life at risk.

Side Effects:
Prednisone treatment, especially those in which the dose is elevated (> 0.25 mg / kg), usually produces adverse effects in both the short and long term. In the short term, they usually produce a variable degree of fluid retention, so that the patient experiences a facial swelling (moon face) that can extend to areas of the body such as hips, shoulders, etc. This swelling disappears after cessation of treatment. As a result of this fluid retention, skin streaks in the legs, abdomen and even back may also appear due to an increase in body volume over a short period of time. Also, it is likely to facilitate post operative dehiscence. In the long term, acne and hirsutism appear (excess body hair) as a consequence of the hormonal action of prednisone, A lower calcium absorption (usually the treatment is accompanied with calcium supplements to avoid symptoms and effects similar to those of osteoporosis), hypertension that can lead to ocular glaucoma. It is important to tell the doctor the appearance of any of these or other symptoms.

3. 3rd Ingredient: Excipienta c.b.p In pharmaceutical, an excipient is an inactive substance used to incorporate the active ingredient . They can also be used to aid the manufacturing process of a product. This is simply a binder, that's it!!!
In general, the active substances themselves can not be easily absorbed by the human body; It is necessary to administer them in the proper form; Therefore the substance must be dissolved or mixed with an excipient substance, whether it is solid or soft; Or a vehicle if it is liquid. They can also be used to aid the manufacturing process of a product.
Depending on the route of administration it is possible to use different excipients. In addition, when an active ingredient has been purified, it can often not remain so for a long time; Another use of the excipients is as stabilizers that ensure activation of the active ingredient enough to make the product competitive. The most common and recommended use for drinking is pure water, universal solvent.

4. WHAT is in the vial that is put into the saline solution during the IV process? Has anyone seen, asked to see this vial and IF it says DMSO or the scientific name of Dimethyl sulfoxide???

Yes, I also go to Dr. L for the IV, I went twice in 2016 and just got back a few weeks ago. Super nice husband and wife and they are a huge blessing to those of us that are suffering.

Hi my mom and I just got back to Georgia from Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras where she got the three IV treatments of DMSO. I have been a nurse for >25 years and went with my mom for one of her first treatments with Dr Corona way back when, her results then and now, (from Dr DeLuna) were instantenous and miraculous. Anyone who suffers with these debilitating diseases need to go...she is 73 years old and got up from that bed and felt amazing.

Re: Dennia (# 32) Expand Referenced Message

Dennia, I noticed you just got back to Georgia from your post; I too, live in Warner Robins, Ga, am 75, and am about out of my Dorvasal. Been taking it since 1994. My mom took it about 20 years before I started. Would you please give me info about the process now? Last time I was down there was 1978. {edited for privacy}.

Re: Dr Colleen Huber (# 10) Expand Referenced Message

How can you do same treatment at Dr. L who took over Dr. C? From what we all understand, the purest of dmso IV therapy isn't offered in the U.S. What are you treating with? I've been going for the DMSO IV for the past 6 yrs now. Just curious as to what you're doing?
