I'm to start prednisone 20 mg today and go down. Now I'm on 40 mg methadone. Should I spread it out cause I'm seeing different posts about it messing with the methadone. I won't get sick will I? ## Hello, Julie! How are you? Yes, Prednisone may reduce the efficacy of your Methadone, so you may experience some withdrawal effects, according to the FDA, they may include nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea and rebound pain. Separating them by a few hours might help, but isn't likely to change much. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I thank you for getting back to me. comneslone

Is comneslone 20 actually prednisone ## Hi Boa, Unfortunately there are no drugs or medications that match the name "comneslone", so I was unable to get any results searching for it. Is this something you ordered from overseas? I saw another thread on here a while back, where someone ordered prednisone, but was actually sent something called comneslone instead. However like I said, it doesn't appear to be a real drug name. So unless it's an uncommon medication from a foreign country, I see no other reason why it wouldn't turn up in any search engines. Does anyone else recognize this drug? ## Yes Comneslone is Prednisolone IP 20. Manufactured by Combitic Global Caplet Pvt. Ltd. It's Generic. ## No it isn't. tapering off predisone

Hi, my teenage daughter has been taking 40mgs for a little over a month. The doctor is now tapering her off. We are currently at 25. In the process she has had pseudoseizures and passing out. Could this be caused from the prednisone??? She has had every diagnostic done so it's not epilepsy. She suffers from GI problems. She had a colonoscopy done in dec and had inflammation in her colon. Thank you. ## Hello, Alicia! How is your daughter doing? Fainting can be due to withdrawal syndrome, which can occur in some people, even if they are tapering off of steroids and aren't stopping them abruptly, as reported by the NIH. However, after research, I've not seen anything about pseudoseizures. Is she on any other medications? Has she ever experienced them before? ## No she hasn'...
