Amneal Oxycodone (generic Percocet) 10 325 (Page 3) (Top voted first)

Amneal's oxycodone, generic for percocet 10/325 is white, oblong, blank on one side, and imprinted with IP 204 (not IP 203)! I usually take Watson or Mallinckrodt, 10/325, (2) tablets every 4-6 hours (240 monthly), but I was given Amneal today when filling my script, and I am not happy! I have cancer, and I also take morphine sulphate 30 mgs as well (1 every 12 hours), and Fioricet with Codeine for severe migraines (as needed)! I do not feel Amneal is sufficient or even close to the chemical makeup as Watson or Mallinckrodt for controlling pain/chronic pain! Amneal does not act the same way on my body, and I should not have to take more for same result! I think when you pay cash for your medications, and have been on the medication for 8 years, using the same pharmacy, they should order what helps you! The pharmacist says he has been ordering Watson 10/325 and Mallinckrodt 10/325, but they are only sending him Amneal! I am not happy, as I pay over $300 out of my own pocket for the my generic oxycodone alone! Pharmacist says he has to take what is shipped to him! Not sure I like that answer, but I checked 7 pharmacies within a 10 mile radius of me, and they all are stating the same fact, and substituting Watson or Mallinckrodt with Amneal! What is going on with ocycodone, generic percocet 10/325? Whatever it is, I don't like it? Generics are NOT all created equal as they say they are! It sucks to have to rely on medications to live, but what else are we to do! Thank you all for reading this! Love to all! <3

I know how you feel. All generics are NOT the same and you shouldn't have to take more to feel better. They should stop trying to push these generic of generic manufacturers off on the patients and instead go by what the patient is saying works. Then they winder why these meds are being abused. The patient is left with a brand that works an you're taking as prescribed to a brand that doesn't work an you're taking more to ease the pain. I have been saying for a long time that manufacturers are different. Amneal is like Tylenol. I request ENDOCET or ALVOGEN when getting my generic oxycodone 10/325 (torn fisc, bulging disc, herniated disc, recent Spinal Fusion surgery torn disc was replaced with titanium rods and screws). My pharmacist is pretty good (XPRESS Lane NY NYC) he orders the endocet and or Alvogen. He let me know if his supplier has it or he'll fill script with 10 amneal to hold me until the others come in.

Just for some facts that ive experienced. about late 2015 i went to a pharm that i usually dont go to and i got a rpund white pill with RP on it i cant remember the markimg on the other side, but the pharm gave me the actual bottle that they come in. The bottle stated thetes was about 8 just under 9 mg of oxycodone. the manufacturer was purdue., to my surprise, purdue i thought was a good brand being they manufactured oxycontin. still better than activis imo amneal isnt all thay great. but better than activis

Don, when you're filling your script ask first, WHO IS THE MANUFACTURER. This way you can deny it an go elsewhere. Rite aid is useless an should change their name to Wrong-aid. The smaller mom & pop pharmacy I find work harder to help you.

Well i just found out this amneal that my pharmacy subsituted withoiy my knowledge has been the cause for my allergic rxn, itching causing scars and benadryl now as part of my daily life. Changed soaps, detergent, stopped spray tan only to finally connect the two poor excuse from my pharmacist switching without my knowedge. Take perc 15 ans going back to the correct mfg tomorrow, that of course they cannot guarantee. Fruatrated and relieved i finally figured out why i itch til i bleed now. Thanks for the input

No this person is correct. My pharmacy was out of my usual. This p204 was dispensed, and was so bad I had one analyzed. Generic Percocet has to contain 12 to20 percent opiate. This pill only had 9% well below the law mandates. I am considering my actions from here.

I am having similar result with AMNEAL generic. Must take every 3 hrs rarher than 5 hours for same effect. Having same problem with Mallinckrodt FENTANYL PATCHES. Who regulates generics? I would think they'd have to be what they say they are. What "stimulant" are they using? Simple caffeine is said to augment pain reliever capabilities
Can they add even that without FDA knowledge? This is SO wrong!

I knew it these are crap! I felt like I was out of my mind. These do not relieve any of my pain, another month of no pain relief. Now just hope I can change pharmacy since I'm in a pain contract. They give me headaches and feel weird in my head. This isn't the first time it's happened. Last month they were ok, not this month.

I am having the same problem. Ive been on percocet for 8 years and this manufacturer is garbage. They make me itch I know its the fillers and they dont put all the narcotic in there pills. I always run out because the days I need them to work they dont.

in 2005 i broke my hip in two place, in a work related accident, was given 5/325 of what ever thye had, I did noticed a slight difference, I am still am on the same dosege 2 per day for slight pain , mainly because my job as me standing up on a forklift allllll dayyy longgg...and it bothers my hip, for the last 6 months I have been taking Amneal 5/325 and I have to say it works good, so wheni go into my Safeway I ask they what they have and they tell me and I try it out. I have heard so much about Endocet being great I thought I would give it a try , absalutly no effect what so ever, infact made me very depressed and moody as heck, this week I will need a new priscription, so im going back to Amneal, now I dont have the pain as most of you , and believe me i really feel for thoes that have the pain upon pain, but I thought I would ask most of you , take a look at the Endocet pill, it has a larger than normal gash where you can cut the pill in half, it the US allows 20% either way of the Gerneric to be aT point blank that big gash ontop of the Endocet pill takes out alot of the medacation, if in fact your running very close to the limit ..under..the normal 5/325 i HAVE never tried watson my insurance only takes Kroger, so i have tried Menkropt (sp) Roxicet, Endocet, and amneal

See if you can get Endo. Not sure your acetaminophen level, but lower is easier on stomach.

I just went to my pain mgmt dr today. The dea is now limiting the amount ant dr can prescribe for us, well in Cali, dont know if it is across the U.S., but was told the max dr can give on the 10/325 is 120per month. Luckily i started my own tapering and now, even tho given my last script of 180, am pleased with the amneal 10/325. i use to think theh didnt work, but realized after shoving almost 200a month, realized with a combo of tylenol, xanax and baclofen, i could survive, and my body adjusted to amneal and am happy with them. Endocet i feel is a poor generic. Good luck al.

I was just prescribed Percocet 5/325 and it is also Amneal. I usually just took a half of tab for relief but this mfg does nothing, even taking A whole one to 2 tabs. I agree with you. They do nothing. Looking for new Pharm?

I too am on the tail-end of a 30 day prescription of these (4x daily) and loss of sleep is huge along with minimal relief as from others such as Endocet, Malli, and Qualitest. These ARE the worst of the worst, and WILL go out of my way to make sure I NEVER get these again! My new rule- check before I hand over the script, I WILL leave my preferred pharmacy if this is what they carry!

Looking at reviews, I have a generic for percocet by Amneal, as I've always had endocet 10/325. I have until Wednesday to pick it up. According to some reviews, Amneal is like one of the worst. Is this true?

It actually depends on the Pharmacy you go to when it comes to ordering Brand Name Percocet or even if you like a generic version more it can be ordered in advanced if that's your main pharmacy and you get your medication from them monthly...I'm on Percocet for Scoliosis and severe arthritic pain and I get brand name from Walgreens each time, Xanax for anxiety and Tramadol 50 mg to get rid of withdrawal pain of Percocet...Never get Tramadol HCL is useless.

My pharmacist just told me that by law all generic narcotics have to be manufactured in the US and would show me the bottle he receives from Amneal from their NY plant. Comments?

I totally agree that Amneal Mfr oxycodone is not helping me with my pain. Can I return them to the pharmacy for the ones that actually help?

Exactly. Your stuck with the worthless med. I'm in it right now. Doctors don't want to get involved.

It's a shame they aren't forced by law to reveal this before your insurance pays. Target was great...then CVS came along. Never again will I use CVS or anything they've had their crooked hands in.
