What Is Veltam 0 4 Used For

I am a 23 year old female. I had a kleb. Pneumoniae UTI. The doctor gave md injectables initially, and then for prophylaxis, he has put me on veltam and niftas for 3 months. I understand why I have been given niftas, but I don't understand the reason behind prescribing veltam. As far as I know, veltam is not for females. ## Here you are given veltam 0.4 as this will dialete the bladder neck and will decrease the post void residual volume of urine in bladder.

My husband is 90 and has been taking Urimax 0.4mg. His psa is 3.31mg... The doctor says he can switch to Veltam-F for 30 days... His hands and legs have been shaky & unsteady for the past two days since he started on Veltam... Is this a side effect of Veltam? ## He should follow his doctor's instructions regarding which medication to take. Is he having tremors, or just feeling unsteady? Weakness, and dizziness can be a side effect of this medication, which contains Finasteride, and Tamsulosin. He may also experience nausea, headache, and changes in urination. I have only taken 7 doses of veltam-plus and stopped. So is there any harm on my health (e.g. withdrawals) from discontinuing treatment? Please reply.. ## There shouldn't be, after such a short dosage period. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and frequent urination. Why did you stop taking it? Are you on any other medications?

I am 68 yrs. Having prostate problem. Started taking Veltam plus tabs for the past month. They have a good effect. How long can I continue? If I continue will there be any trouble. I have UTi problems for the last 45 years. [ was operated for pin hole meatus in 1971 and again in 1980. Underwent cystoscopy operation in 1992,1997 and 2011 I am .doing self dilatation with K-90 catheter for last 21 years regularly at 1/2 month interval.after last cystoscopy in 11/2011 I am doing it every week . My father is 73. He is taking Veloz -D tablet once daily for 2 years after having a boold vomiting. He had also black stool 7 years back. He is diabetic with hypertension. I have been diagnosed with a kidney stone of 1cm in the rt.upper uretar. I was advised SWNL procedure and now even after 4 days I continue to be in agony with the same kind of dull pain. The medicines suggested post procedure:1. Zenflox 200 mg twice daily,2.Enzocort 6mg twice daily alongwith Lasilactone, Veltam n Deverin 80 mg. I am an old patient of gastritis.Is it possible that the antibiotics applied and the steroid prescribed is causing this stomach disturbance.
