I have been on many different opioids for over five years after a very bad car accident. I have finally been on 60mg of methadone and was getting the mallinkrodt generic or westward pharmaceuticals but the accend generic puts me into withdrawal or I may be allergic to some filler they use but I am in tucson, az and need to find out what pharmacies to avoid or which stock anything but accend 10mg tabs now, but as the war on opioids have made for much tighter regulations I cant call and ask. ## All my pharmacies here in panama city are also out of the Mallinckrodt brand. I've been taking the Mallinckrodt for years and when I take the other brands it doesn't work like the Mallinckrodt does. What do I need to do to get Mallinckrodt to send more to my pharmacy?

I have two medications that are made by Qualitest (which I understand both have been moved to other Pharmaceutical Co.) 1. Hydrocodone 10/325 cannot find locally in Qualitest brand so I have been prescribed Mallinckrodt. They cause my ears to ring at an extremely high level that I can't think or do anything. I am extremely nauseous constantly. This ringing in my ears is driving me crazy. No pharmacy will get the Qualitest brand. 2. Phentermine (also the same situation), no pharmacy will carry Qualitiest brand. If the drug works for said person, is still being made and the said person has legal prescription, why isn't there a way to force the pharmacy to get it? Okay everybody, Mellinckrodt is the Chinese cheap pill that is like taking powder. If you are getting this pill you are getting ripped off and that is that. Watson is good but the reality is rarely will you get something that is what it says it is unless it is a pharmaceutical non generic pain killer period. The feds hate the drug and all pain killers and the FDA don't give a s*** so maybe you get a good batch in your prescription refill or you don't. That will depend on what pharmacy you fill your prescription from.

I have been using brand name Norco 10 325 for some time. recently because of the DEA I cannot get them and nowi mallinckrodt s the only drug my pharmacy sells. I have read so many bad things about them on the internet, frankly I am about to have a nervous breakdown as I recently had rotator cuff surgery and I have to have the pain control to complete my therapy. I am somewhat confused. Can someone tell me the difference between MALLINCRKO 5/325 and ROXICET 5/325. I was getting ROXICET, and today I got MALLINCKRO. They both have the same markings(round with 512 on one side and nothing on the other side). Yesterday, I went to my regular pharmacy, a rite aid to get my oxycodone script filled, I got pills that don't do anything. I have been taking oxycodone or Oxycontin for many years, I have never gotten pills that do nothing. The pharmacy said there was nothing wrong with them. I find it absolutely crazy that this seems to be the only brand on the market anymore. My wife has been prescribed norco 10/325mg and has tried different mfg's due to different phamacy's brand they carry, she states that only Mallinckro works to stop the pain from two spinal fusions and a broken hip and femor. I’ve gone thru several variants of Percocet 10/325 over the past 20 years, (7 C-spine surgeries and 3 lumbar spine surgeries, and still suffer horrible pain on a daily basis). Endocet is one of the only meds that works for me, doesn’t make me sick to my stomach, nor any side effects. (I haven’t had to have any increases in strength or amount of daily intake, so I’m pleased with the Endocet)... But my cost has gone up to $159 for a one month supply (150 tabs), which is tough for me to handle financially. I have been taking Adderall for many years and I've never noticed a smell or taste. However, my most recent Rx (same generic manufacturer as normal, Mallinckrodt) has a *very* strong smell, like a multi-vitamin, and terribly disgusting taste. I have been sucessfully taking morphine sulfate ER 60mg manufactured by Mallinckrodt for chronic pain for awhile. I prefer it to other generics (Endo, for example). The pharmacy I've been going to has been kind enough to special order it for me but say that they can't continue to do so due to corporate restrictions with pharmaceutical distributors. As I mentioned, I prefer Mallinckrodt to other manufacturers of generic morphine sulfate ER. While I realize the main ingredients are exactly the same, other ingredients such as fillers and time release methods do vary quite a bit. Mallinckrodt still makes hydrocodone. Depending on lowest bidder, unless a drug is truly discontinued, that's who your pharmacy will stock.
