im 29 yrs old but my weight is only43kgs.. many people are telling me that im really thin.. some said im like skin and bone.. i want to gain weight.. ## How tall are you? Do you eat a good, healthy diet and get lots of exercise? Some people are just meant to be tiny, not everyone is the same and meant to be heavier. Being overweight is much more dangerous than being thin. As long as you aren't dangerously thin, then there is nothing to worry about. Have you consulted a doctor about your weight?

My Mum is 48 years old, 5ft 3lbs and she keeps losing weight and she is really skinny and size 8 trousers are to big. A couple of days ago she wore a strappy top and 3 quarter leg trousers and all u saw is bones. All the family are worried about her but she's not listening. I am 29 years old male, 5 ft '9, with an average weight of 123 to130 on good days. My slender frame and high metabolism I definitely received from my parents. My mother having a very petite small frame and my father being very tall and skinny and always on the thinner side helped my problems. (Not too mention I developed my body through gymnastics and ballet and swimming in adolescence along with about two years battling a hard drug addiction around 15/16yo - I feel it was a long lasting effect on my physical development in some aspects). I've tried everything! Increasing meals and higher protein, higher carbs, shakes, strength training, steroids (best resulted no side affects for me), marinol (since I'm not in the right states) to just start. I eat like a trash compared too...

I have gained about 40 lbs. After starting cymbalta. It's the only thing different I've taken that could have affected my weight gain. I have cirrosis and I had a distended stomach due to fluid build up in my abdomen.My doctor started me on diuretics and eventually my stomach became flat but I'm down to 130 lbs and stand at 6' 1". I have been taking this for about 5 months now and I love it. I have always been small, around 105 pounds. I am at 129 now and loving it. It has increased my breast, and my butt and legs. I was taking .100 of Levothyroxine and my dr. said that it was slightly over corrected...now I am taking .75 and have already gained almost 2 pounds in 5 days. I am really frustrated!
