I've been suffering with spinal stenosis for many years. Some mornings I can't even get out of bed. I live in Gorman Tx.
Please if anyone knows of a doctor who would prescribe pain meds please let me know. Thank you so much. I'm so tired of hurting so bad all I do is sit and cry or stay in bed because its too difficult to get around.

I suffer from spinal stenosis. I've dealt with this for many years, with no relief.
I'm hoping one day to find a doctor who will help with pain meds.

Hello, Blanche! How are you?

If you require medications on a long-term ongoing basis to control chronic pain, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist.

Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly?

If so, having them refer you to someone would likely be the quickest and easiest way to get the help you need.

Does anyone know of a good doctor in the area?

Have any of you tried edible marijuana? I have had so much pain of many sorts from multiple issues for many years including the pins and needled (nerves firing), have been to the best specialists in Newport Beach, CA and surrounding areas and reached high tolerances of fentanyl, vicodin, soma, neurontin and was only feeling worse and worse because of all the side effects that hit me later which all attached to your neurotransmitters making them more irritated and began not communicating with each other correctly. So I went off fentanyl and immediately the burning pain and pins and needles decreased leaving me with less pain. My tolerance levels went down and I could no longer handle the higher strengths of anything. Being on opiates cause refractory pain, basically (back atchya triple time and mores). I can't even take a whole soma or neurontin any more. I was down to 2 vicodin a day but still know that these opiates are attaching to my receptors that will still give me pins and needles. So I've done a lot of research and finally signed up for a medical marijuana card and was told that the best thing for me, including those with anxiety and depression, is the CBD Oil Drops and a little THC on the side. I am Christian so when I say I swear to God, this is the first thing that has worked in a very long time. What works with it is the alternative Hyland products such as Nerve Tonic, Sleep, Calms Forte, Ignatia Amara (previously labeled for grief and depression, now.labeled for nervous stomach but helps both, and especially Restless Legs for the creepy crawly tingling all over, which I have found works truly all over. Taking all this along with a high quality multi vitamin, omegas, greens capsules or powder, and extra multi minerals and extra high milligrams of amino acids especially, will start healing your whole nervous system. And you absolutely must eat right eliminating anything that will increase your nervous system. Hope this helps.
