Doctors Willing To Prescribe Pain Medication In Louisiana
240 Replies RSS
I need to find a Dr. To write a Rx. For hydrocodin for chronic back pain, where can I find one in Southern Louisiana? ## Well, first of all, there is no listing to refer to that tells you what doctors in any given location will prescribe any given medication. And the next issues is that you really aren't going to be able to see a new doctor and ask for a specific medication, because they are taught to see that as drug seeking behavior. Learn more Vicodin details here. Your best bet, if you need long-term pain management, is to see a pain management specialist and set up an appointment to get in the door, without asking is they will prescribe anything. Then make sure that they get a full copy of your medical records, so the documented medical problems and notes from your prior doctor...

Hi, i get the yellow norco pill with a cursive v and 3601 on the back. Is there a better brand? ## Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc. manufactures the pill V 3601. Watson Pharmaceuticals also manufactures this drug. More specifically "Watson 358" is the same dosage as the pill you are describing. And as far as I know, the brand name Watson is among the most popular. But based on this information maybe you can ask your pharmacy/doctor for the Watson brand (Watson 358) and see if you feel a difference in effectiveness. Hope this helps! Fake yellow v 3601
58 Replies RSS
I refilled my prescription and received some yellow 10/325 vicodin. I normally take my dose and feel so much better, but the ones I just got make me so so sick. I vomit and feel hungover. I am concerned these are a bad batch or something I need them for my pain but am so scared to take these particular ones again. How can I tell if they are fake and/or bad? Please help. ## @Concerned patient, If you're receiving these meds through your doctor from a licensed pharmacy there should be no reason to even question whether or not they're real/fake. Pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, but often times they do dispense ineffective brands/generics that lack quality from cheap manufacturers. I usually don't see too many complaints pertaining to the yellow V 36 01 from Qualit...

expired hydrocodone/acetaminophen - safe to use or not
4 Replies RSS
substituted for vicodin is hydrocodone acetaminophen 5/500 white oblong shaped tablet imprinted with l544 and has an expiration date of 03/09/2013. Can this still be used safely? ## Hello, Zettie! How are you? White, oblong tablets with L544 on them are not Hydrocodone, nor any type of narcotic. These tablets are manufactured by Perrigo and they list them as containing 650mgs of Acetaminophen in an extended release formulation. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Regarding expired medications, most tablets don't become dangerous, once they are expired, but they do tend to lose effectiveness, so you should dispose of them. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Can 4 year old 10mg hydrocodone still be taken and effective fo...

It has been suggested to me to try Norco or Vicodin for more strentgh. do you agree? ## Norco and Vicodin are both brand names for the same medication, which is Acetaminophen coupled with the narcotic Hydrocodone. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, constipation, dizziness and dry mouth. However, only you and your doctor can decide if it is necessary for you to try something else. Is it your doctor that's advising you to do so? ## actually it is a registered nurse I know. I want to ask my doctor about it after I get some more info. I am also taking "SOMA" as a muscle relaxer. oval, white, V4212,pill ## It would be impossible to show you images of all of them, there are many manufacturers that make this in both namebrand and generic forms, and all will look different and have different imprints depending on the manufacturer and strength of the pill. V4212 is not Vicodin at all!! Just because it has the V on it, does not mean it is Vicodin, that is just the logo for Vintage/Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. This pill is Methocarbomol 750mgs, a generic for the muscle relaxant Robaxin. ## I found a pill in my childs room she claimed a friend gave her them and they were the girls fathers from the veterans clinic and was a vicodin? it is a cursive v with 4212. dont know ## what is this drug used for is it similar to vicodin?, and is it used to relieve pain? ## No.... it is nothing like Vicodin(hydrocodone). It may help with pain because of it's subtle ant-depressant quality, and very good non narcotic sleep aid. I sleep all night with trazadone. THAT is a miracle for me! ## This tablet is manufactured by Pliva and they list it as containing 100mgs of Trazodone, which is an antidepressant that is also used to help with insomnia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, weight changes, and mood changes. Are there any questions I can help with?
