Alvogen Percocet 10 Yellow Round 230 (Top voted first)

Updated

Just got these pills from my pharmacy after getting long white ones with the imprint m523 on it which by the way I love. But these new ones from alvogen are absolutely horrible!! I am still in a lot of pain and the feeling I get from them are next to nothing like the m523. I am wondering if the pharmacy will exchange them for me if they have my old ones in stock? Anyone know the answer to this? Thank you in advance.

I also came here to ask about the yellow Percocet made by Alvogen. But I see my question is quite different then most of the replys I've read. For me I'm getting the 10/325 and I've been off and on Percocet for the last twenty years. But I and many people I know that are also disabled like me Prefere these yellow ones to ANY we've taken over the years. I am 62 and I also have a morphine pump in me so I take the Percocet for what they call break through pain. I used to like the Watson brand by far more but like I already said these Mfg. byAlvogen for 'us' are the strongest more effective Percocet we've had in years. I can't say why I and my friends feel this but I can promise I know what I feel. I am an old child from the 60's so I guess you can say I have allot of experience with pills. lol.. I do know though that what works for one person doen't neccesarily work for another. I believe that is because of everybody chemical makeup is a bit different.

I've been a chronic back pain suffer for 8 years now. I'm only 33. I have a bolt in my shoulder due to a grade 5 ac shoulder separation. Stupidness on a 4 wheeler, luckily that don't really give me any issues other then when the rain is coming. That was 04 I think. I had surgery and was given 30 percocet 5/325 4839 which didn't work so I had the 512 pills instead. Then I asked my doctor for more as I still had pain, he gave me some generic Vicodin. I said those won't work, can I please have more of the oxycodone ones. I was told the 30 I got were all I would get of those. 5 months off work and it still acts up. But back to the issue on my back. basically told I was too young to be in pain like that, I just wanted narcotics. I switched doctors because I was offended and got the same result just a little nicer. So basically I deal even tho there are days that I can't move. Multiple doctors say it is in my head and won't do anything other then an x ray. My wife has two bulged disks in her neck and degeneration of disks in her mid back and slight stenosis. They won't give her anything for pain. Pain management won't even return her calls to set up an appt even tho she has been referred there. It is a joke the govt has such control along with insurance company's on our wellness. Yet the govt can't figure out why 1000s are dying of illicit drug ODs. Unless you have suffered from chronic pain you have no clue what we go through. Everyday is a struggle. We need to take back our healthcare system. I wish you all the best of luck managing your pain.

I just got these 2 weeks ago & noticed a difference right away... horrible feeling sometimes then other times knocks me out as if I took a tranquilizer!! These posts confirm to me that these are bad form/supply of oxycodone/percocet!

I decided to look this pill up on Google due to the fact that I'm petrified after the last 10 mg dose I took that I'm not going to wake up.

It's also been giving me sudden severe GI pain/issues. After this last dose wears off .... I'm not going to take another dose of this batch ever. Anyone ever report this to the FDA?? I'm wondering if it's worth doing so.

What the companies are doing is making the strong opiates into extended release forms. The are doing this so that the opiates can not be abused or they are much harder to be abused. There have been SO MANY overdoses that the companies & doctors are trying to work together to combat the problem. I have severe pain 24 hrs a day, I broke my neck, have had a back surgery & cancer & still need neck surgery & possibly another back surgery. I've been on pain meds for MANY MANY years. My tolerance is so high that not much helps the pain. Nothing eliminates all of it & im OK if I can get some of the pain to go away. I DO agree that the extended release DO NOT work! I've tried several different meds & it was like I wasn't taking anything. But for all you people that take the strong opiates...to feel high or for pain relief, you CAN & WILL become opiate tolerant & then nothing will help you. And when you have a tragic auto accident or surgery, the doc's won't be able to ease your pain at all. It is the WORST & MOST HORRIFYING FEELING IN THE WORLD. That is what happened to me when I had my back surgery. I woke from the anethesis & was literally screaming to the top of my lungs. Did that for a couple of days. If I could have gotten out of that hospital during that time, I would not be alive today. I would have stopped the pain when I killed myself. So please be careful.

wow I did not notice for the last 6 months I was taking yellow round C 230 by a company called alvogen. Until today my pharmacy for the first time gave me white oblong m523 by Mallinkroft. pain relief was unbelievably different. The Alvogen yellow c 230 imprint are horrible!! Now that I have compared them to what I got today being the M 523 10 325 oxycodone by mallinkroft. these white bad boys are so much better I had pain relief within 20 minutes. and I got nothing that I could feel out of the old yellow round C 230 oxycodone pills. I just did not know it until today because I am perscribed 40 milligram oxycontin twice daily. so because I was taking oxy cotton I guess I couldn't really feel the breakthrough pain medicine which was the C 230 yellow round alvogen pills. but now that I have tried today the M 523 10/ 325 oxycodone by Mally, my pain relief is so much better. I'm not used to taking percocets. I've always had either the actavis 15 milligram or 30 milligram IR blues, with Ms cotton for around the clock. For years. and from 2000 to 2011, I got the old OC 80 milligram oxycontin 2 tablets twice daily #120 a month. then once the OPE formula came out I switched to 30 milligram instant release actavis. which worked excellent. unfortunately here in Florida there were a lot of people coming in messing it up for the legitimate pain patients like myself, so a lot of doctors quit riding the 15mg, and 30 mg IR. and switched people to percocet which have tylenol in them and one third of the strength of what I was used to for years. until my disability gets taken care of there's not a lot I can do though. it's very hard to find a doctor and a pharmacy in the same county nowadays in Florida but I have found one finally in March 2014 I just got lucky today and got the new m523 percocet instead of those crappy C 230 10 325 oxycodone pills by alvogen. had it not been for the oxy cotton I would have not felt any relief at all. I used to have to take two at once to feel anything.

today I tried one m523 and it seemed stronger than taking two of the yellow Alvogen C 230 oxycodone 10 /325. for the first time in almost a year now have good breakthrough medicine. can't wait to move out of this county so I can get my 30 milligram instant release oxycodone hcl. Here in this county they make me take oxycontin instead of the instant release round blue pills 30mg. my lease is finally up and soon I shall have my old prescriptions back. I already have the Dr lined up as well as the same pharmacy I have used for years. unfortunately here it took me almost 8 months to figure out how bad the c230 yellow round pills were. I actually thought those were Watson brand because I know Watson has yellow and for some reason that was always in the back of my head until I read about them today after my pharmacist here switched me to the M 523. which by the way work very good and much better than the c230 yellow pills. I have been through a lot as far as surgeries, just so people don't think I'm some junkie I was shot in my head, which then made me have to get spinal fusion surgery four levels, leaving me disabled after the neck surgery, I have lived in constant pain. the 30 milligram instant release actavis oxycodone were the best pain relief I've had in years. except for when I was getting for 80 milligram oxycontin daily the old formula OC.

I now take 40 milligram Opie formula which works pretty good for around the clock painting and now I have the M 523 pills four times a day for breakthrough. and I have read a lot of complaints about the C 230 pills and now I know why. These M 523 pills actually give me pain relief for breakthrough until the next oxycontin dose. I feel sorry for all the people I read about that were strictly getting the C 230 generic oxycodone 10 325 by alvogen.these offer almost zero relief by themselves they're terrible. The only way I figured it out was when I went to get my meds at my pharmacy this morning they gave me an 523 white oblong oxycodone.... instead of the alvogen c230 pills. these are horrible I find the Watson 932 to be the best, but these m523 these are right up there. and I know the company as I used to get m30 Oxycodone hcl IR as well. So I know the company is pretty good.

The truth government irresponsibility 1st they flooded us with highly addictive opiates ...why?? Money. Then 2nd to fix that problem their guinea pigging us on "new" generics with no labeling in what looks like blind community studies in lower educated ,pain pill addicted communities by giving us opiate pain pills laced with God knows what? With God knows what side effects ...their laced with naloxone ...the ingredient in suboxone ...they don't activate unless come in contact with stomach acids...they have a wax type additive etc. Research these abuse deterrents...if you compromise the pill in any way? You are at the mercy of irresponsible pharmacological and government officials who are covering up their mess and or passing the buck they have taken a bad problem and thrown gas on it by not notifying the public of what their putting in their bodies ...we have got to as society stop voting in leaders and then we say good luck with that and we don't watch them ...there's corruption across the board in just about everything that affects us it's beyond scary ,beyond irresponsible and we better wake up, get off our butts and decide to take back our lives our government and ultimately our freedom and survival...don't let ur leaders bully you with fear and shut you up by abridging your freedom of speech...I can only hope this message goes viral

BluDane, you nailed it. I've been saying the same thing over and over, amneal is like TIC-TACS. It all depends on the manufacturer. Endocet is the best. With them I still have a few left by the time I go for my next injections. I had a torn disc, herniated disc, bulging disc C-2, C-3 C-4 removed, replaced with titanium rods and 4 screws. I have a dislocated collarbone and lower Spinal arthritis. Pain is an understatement. Yet these losers who abuse it get as many as they want and we TRUE PAIN SUFFERERS must fight the insurance companies. I'm so fed up with pain some days i take nothing just to see how long I can go an maybe be done with it. To all my PARTNERS IN PAIN, I PRAY 2017 will give us great relief, a medication that will work wonders and a happier, pain-free life.

It's funny how everyone is different. After 10 knee operations, like many I have a very high tolerance as well which sucks. Name brand Percs or Endocets work the best, but can't hardly get either one. So, because of an infection I had my artificial knee removed. I have no knee while we fight the infection. I couldn't get Endo's so tried Amneal's umm I thought Watsons were placebo pills.....yeah umm Amneals must be nothing more than an aspirin re-stamped. It's a shame the DEA/FDA, would allow companies to profit from selling medicine that does not address the needs it is supposed to. Like many of us who legitimately need pain medicine, we suffer, because of the moronic *****s who abuse to pass time during their boring loser days for a brief high. So, those of us who need relief cannot obtain it. We search, we try, spend money, to find the right med to help us. The pharmacy specifically told me, they do not really care about results of the medicine, it just has to be the cheapest option from the distributor they use. Well, most seem to be switching to this horrible Amneal. I was willing to suffer in pain until I could find Endocets or something different. I went to a small local pharmacy as a last hope, they had the C230's. Reluctantly I decided to try them, heck, no possible way could they be worse than Amneal. I totally agree, they are not name brand or even Endo's but they are not too bad.

It's just total BS that the wonderful government that cares so much about us and our well being.....did I really just say that line of total crap. It's just sad. for all those who abuse for the so called high. I usually don't wish bad upon people but wish you'd shatter a bone or something then get stuck with something like Amneal so you can see what you, and others like yourself have done to rest of us who legitimately need medicine that works. It should be illegal for companies to sell crisp that is not strong enough. Target told us that at the end of the day it's a business so they order the cheapest they can find. It's just a really messed up deal all around. The C230's won't win any awards, but they're better than Amneal. Seriously, I'm not just bashing Amneal, but for those of you faced with getting them, please try to find something else as you will be sadly disappointed. I had to take 4 or 5 of those crappy pills on a completely empty stomach and even then they offered minimal relief. Yeah that solves the problem as then we run out early so it creates another problem. But that makes of these horrible products get rich and truly don't care. I bet they don't give their family members these products! You know dang good and well they are well aware of their potency. It's just so infuriating.

Yea. My pain management Doctor's nurse practitioner looks at me like I'm lying about my pain. And the questions they ask, I just wish the doctors you see for pain could experience my pain for just 10 minutes, THEN THEY WOULD UNDERSTAND!

I sympathize with you because until the MRI PROVED a torn dusc, herniated disc, bulging disc, arthritis and scatica. Iwas yopd to meditate. How can i mediate with my foot in your a$$. This pain is real. Finally had surgery to replace torn disc am mow have 2 titanium rods an 4 screws connected to my spinal cord. The second part of surgery is to go iny neck to the top of spinal cord an repair that. Oh but you DOCTORS said nothing was wrong go meditate. It's horrible that REAL PAIN SUFFERERS get the shaft because of junkies.

I really doubt they would. You already left th store with them and since it's something you consume they are weird about that. If you know the pharmacy real good that might help you. It never hurts to just ask either.

What really gets me is i now have to travel 100+ miles to a pain clinic and prove my pain. Being on Ssi and not having enough money to even eat everyday,i sure dont have the money to travel. So thanks to abusers i live in constant pain all day and night. Anything would be better than this hell ..even death

The alvogens yellow alvogens work for me. I suffer from a congenital defect in my l4 l5 vertebraes. Some brands work better than others. Everyone is different. But you are right about one thing....specialists see you as an addict and treat me so different. They wont operate on me being 29 years old yet nothing else works. Epidurals do nothing. Physical therapy hurt me worse. Aak the pharmacy for a different brand.

Thank you yes I tried returning them and got the same answer you just gave me. But I've been taking 10 mg oxycodone for a few years for chronic back pain and first time I ever had yellow ones so I have no choice but to continue these for the month and see if they will start to work for me. Thank you

I was recently given alvogen oxycoden-acetam 10-325MG instead of my regular brand and this stuff does not work at all. zero pain relief. No medical benefit what so ever. I have called alvogen 1-866-770-3024 and no response. I have called the FDA 1-888-463-6332 and no response. I have even called my pharmacy 661-326-6580 and no response. This is a fake medicine and does not work with me. Please contact me thru this message board. Thank you signed Ripped off

Hey MunkS, I to am close to 60...been off and on percocet for 20+ years.I used to get Endocet 10/500 but I don't think their available anymore.I was getting along fine on Watson 10/500's Lortab....you know, the blue ones until FDA screwed the chemical balance and went to NORCO...an absolute placebo! Question: Have you had ENDOCET YELLOW OVAL 10/325?If so,do you think the YELLOW C230 ALOGEN work more effectively?
