I'm wondering what is best med for s1 protruding disc and a pinched nerve until I can get into pain management for the steroid IV's ## HI, Amy! Sorry that you're in pain. However, there's really no way to say what the best pain medication would be, because what works for someone else may not work for you. What has your doctor advised? Much of it is also going to depend on your overall health and your tolerance to any given class of medication. Have you ever taken opiates, before?

I am sorry for including all of this info but I am being as detailed as possible. I am a 57 year old woman. 5 years ago a swarm of bees hit our horses as our work team building trail ride crested a small mountain. I was thrown off my horse, broke my pelvis, severe damage to back & neck, and was trampled by three other horses causing organ damage and internal bleeding. Ambulance couldn't get to me so I was strapped on an ATV and bounced down the rocky slope. A medi-vac took me to a trauma center. Several days in ICU, 3 weeks hospital stay, a month stay in a rehab facility to learn to walk again. Then in-home therapy, followed by in clinic therapy for months. Repeat last two sentences for the follow up Surgeries: spinal decompression and laminectomy at L4, L5, S1 which resulted in...

I found some hydrocodone from 1993. So tempted to try it , but don't want to die because of it????? What do I do????? ## Hi Blaque, I definitely wouldn't recommend trying something that has been degrading for over 20 years now. Odds are that it'll cause more harm than any high might be worth. It sounds like your best bet would probably be to turn the pills into your local pharmacy or police department. This way you can at least know that they'll be disposed of properly. I hope this helps!

There are actually many that don't contain Acetaminophen. Oxycodone is available by itself in quite a few different dosages. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Other options include Morphine, Opana and Dilaudid. Learn more Morphine details here. Learn more Opana details here. Learn more Dilaudid details here. These are all narcotic opiates, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Where can I get my oxycodone 15mg filled in tampa area. Last month I had the dr switch me from 30mg to 15mg because the 30s were hard to get. So last month I go to Walgreens got the 15mg no problem But now this month I can't get any went to 5 pharmacies nothing. Is this happening to the 15mg too. Please. Help ## It's just an overall shortage, due to the fact that the manufacturing limits for the year have been met. Last month the pharmacy probably still had some of the 15mg tablets in stock, because there weren't as many prescriptions for them, but no doubt there were many other doctors who had the same idea yours did, so the supply was depleted. The best advice we can give is to talk to your doctor about using an alternative medication, in the meantime. Production will retu...

My husband just accidentally gave our dog tussigon and tramadol at the same time. Should I be concerned? ## I wish I had an answer for you and everyone else that posts questions about their pets. However, human and animal physiology can be quite different, thus my knowledge and/or what I can research for someone about the effects of given medications and their uses in humans, may not apply to your dog. I am always happy to help, if I can, just like others that frequent this website, but it would be remiss of anyone to do so, without knowing the proper information to give you. Therefore, I must advise you to call your veterinarian and ask. How is your furry friend doing?

I am looking for a Dr in Tampa. I already have a current MRI. My problem is that I need a Dr that will prescribe me Roxy 30's even though I do not have a prescription history of them in the past year. My prescription history has just been for vicodin and percocet this past year. I have already gone to Padgett and they wouldn't help me because I didn't have any scripts for them recently. Any help is appreciated. ## Did you find one? I'm in the same boat, please email me at {edited for privacy} ## If you have found one, I'm also in somewhat of the same situation. I have MRI's and documentation on all sort of treatments that have not worked. I do have prescription for oxycodone, but a new doctor bought out practice and is trying to change everyone off medication. I ...

I found this pill in my teenage sons draw putting laundry away im very consered about this but dont want to jump the gun if its an over the counter drug etc please help i need to know what pill this is and what its for and if its dangerous addicting etc ## Hi, Tomas! How are you? Well, if he's a teenager, please take under consideration why it may have been in his drawer. A friend may have dropped it, or he may have found it somewhere and not known what to do with it, or he may have thought if he came to you with it you might get angry and make accusations. Some parents do. So, please do give him the benefit of the doubt, rather than just freaking out. My Dr wants to switch me off of fentanyl because my insurance won't cover it (except under extreme circumstances). I might qualify for those circumstances because I'm allergic to almost every pain med. But we're not sure and I need some other options. What are some of the other long acting opiates that aren't going to cause servere nausea (I have cyclic vomiting syndrome) or are patches like the fentanyl? ## Hi, CD! Sorry about the problems that you're having. However, nausea and vomiting can be a side effect of all opiates, so there's really no way to say which ones may work for you, without causing it. But you may want to talk to your doctor about Butrans and see if your insurance will cover it. It's a transdermal patch, similar to the Fentanyl, that contai...

I have a really bad tooth pain is hydrocodone-ibuprofen 7.5 good for the pain my doctor put me on them in the pass but trying to see if they are any good for a really bad tooth pain ## Hydrocodone with Ibuprofen is a generic for Vicoprofen, which is a narcotic analgesic, so it can treat various types of pain. However, you do need to see a dentist, because this medication may relieve pain, but it is not going to resolve the underlying issue that has caused the dental pain, such as an infection due to a deep cary. Which means that the pain will just keep returning, if the problem isn't corrected and any possible infection treated with an antibiotic. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth...

I just bought Walgreens acetaminophen extended release caplets 650mg. Batch number 2349073. When I called the 800 number I was told it was manufactured in a lab in NJ. Can you verify this? ## who is the manufacturer of the Walgreens brand of acetaminpohen? Where is it manufactured? ## @Richard, Based on my research, Walgreens brand acetaminophen is primarily manufactured by LNK International, Inc.; which is a U.S. based manufacturer or private label brands of over the counter products for many U.S. stores. Their headquarters, manufacturing and distribution facilities are all located in Hauppauge, NY. However, not all Walgreens carry Acetaminophen made by the same company.
