What is the difference in the 2? I have gotten 2 different prescriptions for hydroco/apap 5-500 and one says generic for vicodin and the other says generic for lortab 5. ## PS I got one in August and then one again Yesterday (December). It was different locations as well, would this be a factor in the difference? ## Initially, when these medications were still under full patent, and not available as generics, Lortab and Vicodin were both brand names for different dosages of Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen, but since this medication is now available as a generic, pharmacies can pretty much pick, and choose what name brand they refer to, when dispensing the generic. In other words, as long as the dosage is correct, it doesn't mean anything, and doesn't matter which name brand they ...

I need to find a Dr. To write a Rx. For hydrocodin for chronic back pain, where can I find one in Southern Louisiana? ## Well, first of all, there is no listing to refer to that tells you what doctors in any given location will prescribe any given medication. And the next issues is that you really aren't going to be able to see a new doctor and ask for a specific medication, because they are taught to see that as drug seeking behavior. Learn more Vicodin details here. Your best bet, if you need long-term pain management, is to see a pain management specialist and set up an appointment to get in the door, without asking is they will prescribe anything. Then make sure that they get a full copy of your medical records, so the documented medical problems and notes from your prior doctor...

These pills could be very old, perhaps why Im not able to obtain ANY info anywhere! White, oblong, 318 on one side, and barr on the other. PLEASE help me figure this out? WHY arent these in ANYBODY'S database? Wierd. ## Its a 10mg Vicodin. Old? Yes&no. We (drs),do not write prescription our for 10mgs out to patients. Due to, 1.not much of a change or help between the 7.5's-10mg. Board of directors then decided, it was best to take off medical use. And DO w/ totally different make & Mexican. Used For. Pain in Lowes dose but did more then the 10mg Vicodin. Sincerely. I have chronic lower back pain and shoulder pain. I have an 8month old girl (not breast feeding) and a 2.5 year old boy. My pain is dibilitating and I have trouble lifting and taking care of them. I've tried everything heat/ice therapy and meds. Vicodin or Norco are the two pain meds that seem to work for me and I am able to perform my daily duties with much less pain. I do not want anything stronger than them. I have not found a regular doctor to just give me a refillable prescription with out going to the ER. It's really tough for me to get around with the two kids and my pain. I wish to find just one doctor that I can go to and who realizes I have tried all other outlets and this is what works for me. I am a responsible mother not a junkie I am just tired of my chronic back p...

Does a white tablet with V 4212 have hydrocodone in it? Can I see images for all vicodin pills to make sure? ## It would be impossible to show you images of all of them, there are many manufacturers that make this in both namebrand and generic forms, and all will look different and have different imprints depending on the manufacturer and strength of the pill. V4212 is not Vicodin at all!! Just because it has the V on it, does not mean it is Vicodin, that is just the logo for Vintage/Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. I really need a few drug names fitting this description. I am trying to find the name of a drug I took. It is a big white pill that looks like Vicodin but thicker and bigger. When I googled it originally one of the uses said it was used during physical therapy. ## what is a pill that haS THE NUMBERS2410V ## Casey, I'm sorry, but that is far too vague of a description for us to be able to definitively narrow it down, there are many products on the market, both prescription and over the counter that meet that description. Even being used during physical therapy, it could just be a vitamin supplement. John, the tablet with that marking contains 350mgs of Carisoprodol, the active ingredient in Soma, it is a muscle relaxant. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and dry...

What is the difference between Darvocet N APAP 100-650 and Hydrocodone 500 mg? ## There is no Hydrocodone 500mg...it comes in 5mg 7.5mg or 10mg.. You people shouldn't mess with drugs cause obviously you have no clue...and there both weak as s*** by the way. ## Fentanyl is a very serious drug, and it is 10 to 20 x more powerful than morphine. It made my Uncle have a stroke& after he stoped taking it the last stroke he had killed him. Beware of this drug, only take it if it's your last resort. ## Darvocet contained the active ingredients Propoxyphene, and Acetaminophen. It is no longer available in the U.S., due to the fact that it's risks were deemed to outweigh any possible benefits it might provide, since it was such as mild opiate analgesic. Found bottle of oblong white pills at friend's house who had prob with rx vicodin & percocets. (Seems to be clean for awhile) Smallish, white, oblong pills. Said she she got from hosp awhile ago when she was 'still using.' Not scored, and imprint scratched out on other side. !!! ## Vicodin usually isn't on the smallish side, because the amount of Acetaminophen in them tends to make them larger, once it's added to the Hydrocodone with the other binders and fillers. Learn more Vicodin details here. They are usually about the size of a large, oblong potent multivitamin, such as Centrum, give or take a slight fluctuation in size, but that should give you an idea. And if the imprint has been scratched off, then yes that is very suspicious. A hospital wouldn't be a...

It is generic lorcet 10-650. Just picked up a script. About the same as lortab 10, norco 10. And has less acetaminophen than vicodin. ## No, it doesn't have less Acetaminophen, considering this has one of the highest doses of it that's presently available in these combination medications, so I'm not sure who told you that. The most commonly prescribed doses of this narcotic medication contain 325mgs or 500mgs of Acetaminophen and this one has 650 mg. There is only one that's higher than this and it has 750mgs in it. However, what should be noted here is that soon all doses over 325mgs will be removed from the market in regards to these combination prescription products. Due to concerns about the dangers of organ damage or failure that can happen with long term use, as we...

I've been taking Vicodin for about a week now. I took one today and I have a test in three days. Will I be clean? I need to know because I can't fail. I have chronic pain and I'm in a group where I'm not allowed to take them, but I couldn't help it as I'm in severe pain! Can u please let me know? ## From what I've found, traces of the drug can stay in your body for a number of days and can be detected in the hair for months. The exact amount of time it takes for Vicodin to be out of your system depends on a many things such as your age, your body fat and body mass, how much Vicodin you took and how long you've been taking it.
