Ranexa - can't sleep

I am on Ranexa for just 10 days 500 mg twice daily and each night I wake up at 2 or 3 am and cannot fall back asleep till morning. I feel exhausted already and don’t know if I can use only one tablet in the morning? I tried once to skip evening dose and slept much better. Please let me know if any sleeping pill can help and if it is safe to combine the two. Also can my body get use to it? Not being able to sleep make me feel depressed. ## How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? It would best not to change your dose of the Ranexa, or to combine it with other medications, unless your doctor instructs you to do so. It has been known to cause insomnia as a side effect in some people that take it, but it is very rare.

ecosprin gold 20 and ecosprin 150

Can a patient take ecosprin 150 & ecosprin gold at once if having chest pain (heart attack)? ## Hello, Ibrahim! How are you? That would essentially be doubling up on the same medication and really won't do anything to help. Only one is necessary. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I was taking Ecosprin gold 20; can I take Ecosprin 150 instead of Ecosprin gold 20?

Nitrocortin 2.6 Usage

I, 71 years old, suffered sudden angina pectoris, having a little high blood pressure. My Dr. carried out an ECG which revealed normal ECG. Prescribed nitrocortin 2.6 twice with amlopres trio once. After 10 days blood pressure came down to a normal 130/80 which raised to 160/80 during angina. Would I require nitrocortin 2.6 further? If so, for how long? May you kindly advise? ## To my understanding, Nitrocortin is safe.

Diltiazem lingering side effects

How long does it take for the side effects to go away after discontinuing the drug? I stopped it one week ago and continue to have severe anxiety, vasodilation (red blotchy skin), and GI upset including bloating and gas. ## Hello Patty, There is no solid literature that states the length of the side effects. What the NIH does state is that if you are experiencing these symptoms that you should notify your doctor. I am certain that your physician will have a much better timeline of how long your symptoms will last based on their severity. I apologize that I wasn't able to find an exact answer but I hope that your doctor will have a good estimate. ## Thank you for your comments. Side effects are lessening by baby steps each day. I've been told that if you have a serious side effec...

losartin potassium

Problems with certain generics, took Teva brand for years, worked like a charm, they stopped making it, tried Solco brand and it gave me severe stomach pains, took namebrand and it gave me chest pain and palpitations anyone have similar experience? Wonder if I should try another brand of generic, not feeling well at all ## Hello robin, Both symptoms you described are associated with taking losartin and you should be communicating these symptoms with your doctor as they can be dangerous. Though each brand is required to have the same active ingredients in them the companies do have the ability to change their inactive ingredients which is what most people tend to have a problem with. I would discuss these symptoms with your doctor and then have them determine if you need to be tested for...
