I GET DRUG TESTED EVERY 2 WEEKS AND I HURT MY BACK AND MY AUNT GAVE ME A SOMA AND I HAVE A 12 PANEL DRUG SCREEN URINE TEST AND I WANNA MAKE SURE I'M NOT GONNA FAIL MY DRUG TEST.

It is a class a narcotic now but there are no actual narcotics in it!! I took it for years I work in medicine and never failed and/or was asked about it! That was few years ago so unless they changed how they make the drug I think ur good!! Just so you know tramadol is also a classified narcotic with NO narcotic in it! They simply change them to make it harder to get bc they have a tendency to become addictive and if u take the soma on regular be cautious when u stop it can cause very violent seizures!! I took the Suboxone strips to end my addiction. It did not work on helping my pain at all and I almost od'd on the strips. If you don't have any pain I would say they probably work, but anyone knows you can't prescribe an addict more than a day's worth at a time. As far as the soma, if your scared it's going to show then try real hard to not take it. Good luck and may god be with you in your recovery.

Soma is Not a narcotic drug, unless the government decides to label it so. Here it is schedule ll. ANY drug can be identified via urine or blood analysis as ordered by your Dr. Be careful.

Almost all of you people have no idea what you are talking about or how drug metabolization works. long answer short it is possible for Soma to show up in a drug test. That being said I have never heard of a dipstick immunoassay that tests for Soma. I doubt they exist. Now if it were go to a lab, then yes they can test for anything under the sun. If it goes to a lab for screening it is possible it could show up, but it all depends on what they test for. Everything costs money.

what you posted does not mean soma is a "narcotic". narcotics are schedule I and II drugs. ALL drugs have a "schedule" according to the DEA. schedule IV is pretty far down on the list. blood pressure meds and cholesterol drugs are schedule IV. so just because a drug has a "schedule" listing, doesnt make it a narcotic. soma is not considered a narcotic.

You didn't say "when" you were gonna be U.A.'ed- but mentioned every 2 wks. Well.. It all depends on your liver, it's condition. IF you have Hep. C; or your liver is compromised in some way, it could take a week to leave your system. IF your liver is good, it should only take 3 days. Good Luck! *Been there, done that! *

Tramadol is on also listed in the CS list. Next they'll be listing Lyrics, Celebres, Baclofen, hell if Motrin would make you dizzy they'd list it. I'm being sarcastic. The problem is the govt. U.S., County, State government is already going crazy due to overdoses the worse being kids under 18. I've seen 2-3 deaths because parents leaving medications accessible to them, as well as dealers (Regardless of age). Don't punish doctors unless they're running pill mills, punish dealers,. But we'd half to have more jails. My friends daughter is an undercover "C.I.", which I despise, because they get a slap on the wrist for ALL criminal activity, still allowed to abuse drugs. She's not allowed in my house. I'm not a dealer or anything, its a matter of respect /honor.

Nashville. TN, NM is notorious for letting people do this due to fines they receive. Its all about money and the wrong people are being punished. Anyway there will be more heavier restrictions on medications including but not limited to: Oxycontin / Oxycodone, Dilaudid, Morphine, Fentanyl. This is hurting LEGITIMATE patients and Doctors!! Dealers are preying on the elderly, disabled especially due to a decrease in income SS, SSDI, WELFARE and an increase in living costs. Fix the medications where they CAN'T be "abused". Make all pain medications Extended Release / uncrushable, only allow injectable meds in the hospital, and emergency settings, stiffer penalties for 1st time dealers, unauthorized use by people with no medical necessity for narcotics/CS.

JDG: I am 99.9% sure that a 10-panel test would show somas. The way it works is this: a basic 5-panel test will only show what they call "drugs of abuse", which are cocaine, heroin (opioids), amphetamine/methamphetamine, marijuana, and LSD/PCP/psychedelics. Pharmaceuticals such as xanax, somas, phenobarbital, etc. get added as they add "panels". So a 10-panel? Like i said, I'm ALMOST 100% sure somas would be on there. I wouldn't chance it.

Comparison between Soma & "Ludes" is Ludicrous!!! Well, maybe IF as you say- 4 Somas @ once- that's over-doing it & would knock most people out.. If Soma is taken 1 at a time, maybe twice a day (as I used to be prescribed) is not gonna make you bounce off the walls. IF you've experienced 'Diabetic neuropathy', you'd know Soma really helps, it used to be prescribed as a muscle relaxer, now is pegged as a barbiturate.. Kids steal them from their parents, O.D. & commit Hari Kari- or there's people like you, telling others it's like "ludes in the 70's; take em w/grapefruit juice".. Some people need to keep their ill intended opinions to themselves... Gimme a break.

I take 12 panel drug screen on a regular and Soma does not come up, even though that muscle relaxer is considered a bring narcotic. They would have to test pacifically for Soma. Hope I spelled that right!

Some does show up not as a soma but as a benzo once it's metabolized in your system. I took a drug test for probation on 2/16 & I had only taken hydrocodone & somas 2 days prior. I don't take xanax or Valium so the soma is what caused the benzo screen. The good thing is it's not long lasting in your system. 3 days and your system should have it completely flushed out.

I was pulled over in Texas & charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug for having 6 Somas. So although they are not considered a narcotic, they're still a drug that you must have a prescription for.

Somas are awful & VERY addictive. I've struggled with opiates & amphetamines but nothing brought me down like Somas. Eventually you build a tolerance & you take more & more to get the high. Your body just gets more & more impaired. I've been unable to walk or even talk on Somas. Ugh!!! The memories...
