Suboxone Overview

Buprenorphine is a semisynthetic opioid derivative of thebaine. It is a mixed partial agonist opioid receptor modulator that is used to treat opioid addiction in higher dosages, to control moderate acute pain in non-opioid-tolerant individuals in lower dosages and to control moderate chronic pain in even smaller doses.[3] It is available in a variety of formulations: Cizdol, Subutex, Suboxone, Zubsolv, Bunavail (available as buprenorphine HCl alone or buprenorphine and naloxone HCl (see bupre...

I have been taking suboxone for about 2 months now. I am supposed to take 12mgs a day...3 doses 4 mg a piece a lot of days i do not need the 3rd dose and take 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening. Since i stoped taking painkillers i have had bad anxiety and trouble sleeping my mind seems to wonder and dwell on things when i go to bad and have had a couple anxiety attacks at work. My doctor tried buspar for 3 weeks because he does not like to give benzos with the subs. I had no relief from the buspar so today he gave me a perscription for xanax 0.5mg as need max 2 a day. He explained the possiable interaction between them and told me as long as i take them at least a couple hours apart i ahouldnt have any problems. I have not tried them togather and am just seeking a second opinion. I h...

My daughter runs out of her script for suboxen tommorow. She has private insurance.I need a referral of a clinic that can get her in within 48 hours for at least a consultation on her options. ## Hello, James! Sorry for the dilemma that your daughter is in. However, Suboxone treatment can only be provided by a doctor that's been specially trained in its use, there are no general clinics per se that can treat with it. And the doctors that have the waiver to treat with it can only accept a very limited number of patients. You can check for other doctors in your area via the website, suboxone.com, but I don't think there's a very high chance of one getting her in within 2 days. Learn more Suboxone details here. What happened with the doctor that was currently treating her? ## Go...

Cheap suboxone doctors

I am looking for a doctor who prescribes suboxone in the New Orleans, slidell Louisiana area. I am a sing le mom with no insurance, can't afford 350 a visit and prescription cost. My kids have mdicaid but I don't. Thanks, ## Suboxone treatment is still pretty new, so I am not aware of any doctors that offer cheaper prices, because they do have to maintain special approval and monitoring to treat patients with it. Learn more Suboxone details here. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative, you might want to check into Methadone clinics in your area, as it is usually much cheaper, since it's been used for a very long time. Feeling 'sick' from Suboxone
34 Replies RSS
I have been on Subox for about 4 months now...I started at a very low dose. Only 6 MG a day for the first 2 days (and then after getting very sick on that amount) lowered my dose to only 2 mg total a day. The trouble is I feel really sick...horrible headaches, zero energy, body aches. It feels literally like I am being poisened slowly by the Subox. So why not stop taking it you will ask. I have tried to taper down and the WDs are as bad as coming off Oxy to me. I am now stuck between the option every day to feel like a '10' bad and have serious WDs and not take anything...or take a little Subox , not have the sweats as bad, but still feel like a '8' bad. There seems to be no good option anymore for me. Maybe my brain is truly damaged and will never feel the same without ...

yes there are generic Suboxone
59 Replies RSS
there is a generic Suboxone out now. they begin shipping them to pharmacies the last week of February. also, if you have any type of insurance you will automatically get the generic suboxin. The doctor has no say in whether you get the name brand or generic really. even if he writes a prescription for suboxone, the pharmacist will automatically give you the generics if you have insurance. if you don't have any insurance, you can ask the pharmacist to give you generics because they are cheaper. Plus, R and B has stopped making the name brand suboxin pills. they are only making be films now. So whenever your pharmacy runs out of the original suboxin, there will not be any more. ## @sean21, Do you happen to know by any chance who the manufacturer is or what the new generic Suboxone is ...

is the m924 subutext or suboxone
1 Reply RSS
I was needing to know if the m924 are subutext or suboxone I seen that they don't have the naloxone I'm them ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? Yes, they contain 8mgs of Buprenorphine, so they are a generic for Subutex. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Need a doctor who prescribes suboxone in Indiana - i am on medicaid. ## While I'm not aware of which doctors accept medicaid, I can provide you with links to help you locate specific pain management doctors within your local area. You'd inevitably have to ask the receptionist though if the doctor accepts medicaid or any other type of insurance that you might have. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist I hope this helps! ## im 26 and dying from my drug addiction but only have indiana medicade and need help bad ## Hello, Are you still in need of inform...

I have been on 8 mg/2mg Suboxone strips for 1 year. I am having a tooth (back molar) extraction in the morning. I used my Suboxone strip this morning & the tooth extraction is at 9:30 am tomorrow. If I don't use another Suboxone strip before the extraction, would I be able to use Hydrocodone after my surgery? I don't want to get sick, but I am terrified of going through this surgery with no pain meds. Please help. ## should be 48 hrs to alow to leave your system ## So if I took a 10 mg Hydrocodone after not taking a Suboxone for 24-28 hours, will it throw me into withdrawals? That would do me in after surgery to end up in wd's. ## Sorry to say but 8 mg of Suboxone is way stronger then any hydrocodone. It would take a year for you to even feel the effects. Tolerance takes...
