I'm sorry, there's really no central listing that I know of that lets you know what doctors treat with Suboxone and take any certain insurance.

Learn more Suboxone details here.

I'd suggest contacting HIP/Medicaid and asking if they have any information that can help you, or you can try the Suboxone.com website to find doctors in your area, then contact them to see what insurance they accept.

Does anyone else know of one?

The only doctors I'm able to find cost way too much money and I don't really have any. My best bet is trying to find subs in the city but they are going to be way over priced

Hi I recently came across this post and have been in search of a doctor who prescribes suboxone. I currently have a doctor that does, however he charges me $120 per visit which adds up rather quickly. Thanks for the help.

That is the name of the Suboxone hotline that will help you find a doctor in your area. And one that is taking patients. Sometimes they will even make phone calls for you on your behalf. It is a great website in a useful tool. Especially when a doctor does go out of practice. Re: Verwon (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

I have had my share of treatment centers, jail, therapy for 30 yrs. I am 69 and have used both illegal and scripts. Past few years I no longer use hard street drugs. I do have OA of knees shoulder back and in order to function I take oxycodone 10mg 5x/day. I went to college full time 5 yrs. In 40's and am a therapist in nursing home rehab. I had to stop work this yr. So not to place patients in danger by dropping them or whatever. I find myself overdoing my script these past few months as my life has become so stressed with an eminent divorce of 50 yrs. No job no car and having to sell house of 40 yrs. And move. Maybe it's my payback for people have hurt in life. I want to stop the opiates and take suboxone but my doctor doesn't believe in it. Where can I find a place where I can go that route? Any help is appreciated.

Re: Mel (# 64) Expand Referenced Message

Hi Mel. I believe it is a state/national law that Drs who prescribe sub for treatment of addiction require patients to attend recovery meetings, personal counseling sessions and routine drug panels.

A suboxone doctor by the name of Dr. Syed Z Hussaini in Hicksville, NY at (516)-597-4492 charges $100 per visit bi weekly or monthly depending on drug panels!!!

Yes, that is true but most people can't afford to pay out of pocket due to crazy co-pays. Suboxone.com does not tell you which Dr's take insurances.
