Tramadol Overview

Tramadol, sold under the brandname Ultram among others,[2] is an opioid pain medication used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain.[1] When taken as an immediate-release oral formulation, the onset of pain relief usually occurs within about an hour.[6] It has two different mechanisms. First, it works by binding to the μ-opioid receptor.[7] Second, it inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine.[8][9] It is often combined with paracetamol (acetaminophen) as this is known t...

is 50mg tramadol as effective as 10mg methadone ## best tramadol ## @mark, According to a double-blind clinical trial, Tramadol was reported to be more efficacious in managing the symptoms of opioid withdrawal (and with fewer side effects) than Methadone. This study is based on a 450 mg/day dose of Tramadol in comparison to a 15mg/day dose of Methadone. So if you ask me, my thoughts are that 50mgs of Tramadol wouldn't have results that are as significant as what was displayed in the clinical trials, since that would only amount to 200-300mgs a day (when taken every 4-6 hours) as opposed to 450mg/day. Results will probably also depend on each individuals tolerance to pain meds as well as body chemistry and several other underlying factors. I'd encourage you to talk with your doct...

I HAVE BEEN TAKING TRAMADOL-SINCE MONDAY .HAVE TOOK 5 50MG PILLS SINCE TUESDAY .HAD A ALLERGIC REACTION TO THEM -ALL SYMPTOMS.HOW LONG WILL I SUFFER FROM THE REACTION? ## Hello, Linda! How are you doing? I'm sorry about what happened. What symptoms did you experience? It might take a week or so, before things start to ease up and you feel better. You should speak to your prescriber about it, to make sure it's listed in your medical records and not prescribed for you, again. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Hello! my boyfriend has took a half of subsolv 5.7 for about a week or so now. small & round, orange ## My mother has been suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis for last 10 years. We found out about Dorvasal from an RA forum. An RA doctor in Mexico prescribed Dorvasal for my mother. She took it thrice a day with analgesics for 4 years and we saw good results with her mobility and pain control. However lately she is complaining of dizziness, spinning motion in head, mouth ulcers, itchy skin and skin rashes, insomnia. We abruptly stopped Dorvasal because of these side effects and now her condition has really deteriorated. She is bed ridden now. Does this drug contain any steroids? Also we are not sure if the side effects were because of Dorvasal or the analgesic pain killer (Tramadol Hydrochloride) she has been taking. (She also has hypertension and high blood pre...

As per him it is not a steroid and it contains DMSO (DiMethyl Sulphoxide) It really helped my mom with her Rheumatoid Arthritis for about 3 years or so; but unfortunately now her pain is back (even worse) and she is showing a lot of other side-effects like dizziness, spinning motion in her head, nausea, mouth ulcers, skin rashes, insomnia etc. We are not sure if they are caused by Dorvasal as she is taking few other medications like Tramadol Hydrochloride (analgesic painkiller) ...

Please let me know if its okay to take the tramadol 50mg? ## You can, if they have both been prescribed for you and you are taking them with your doctor's approval. The FDA warns that they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is Ol Tram really Tramadol?
10 Replies RSS
Hello, i just received tramadol 50mg. from HAB pharmaceuticals. There are no markings on the pills. Round, white pills. Blister pack says Tramadol 50mg. is it really Tramadol? The pack also says "Ol Tram". ## Hi anned, From what I could gather, OL-TRAM is reported to be a foreign brand name of Tramadol. However, I think its legitimacy depends on where you ordered it from, since as you may know, many of those sketchy websites can often be unreliable. HAB pharmaceuticals has had some complaints in the past, but as I look at their webpage, they do strike me as being a real pharmaceutical manufacturer that produces real meds out of India. So my assumption is that it's probably real Tramadol, but in reality there's no way of being certain if there are no markings to verify th...
