Doctors Who Prescribe Pain Killers In Philadelphia
1213 Replies RSS
Hi, My current doctor has decided that it would be best to stop my monthly prescription for 30mg percocets. I have chronic back pain from skiing injuries and other sports related problems. I have never abused or taken more than was suggested. I never got "high" and was always able to work and interact with clients in a positive way. Now without the medication, the pain is becoming a distraction. Does anyone know a doctor who isn't scared to prescribe common pain killers. They are produced for a reason, but recent uptake in illegal abuse has made doctors uneasy with long term prescriptions? I live in the Philadelphia area (main line) but I am familiar with the greater Philadelphia metro area. Thank you and kind regards. ## I think you may be confusing medication names and if ...

percocet blue pill alv 196

Does it have less Tylenol than other brands and are they just as strong as other brands? ## Hello, Chazzy! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Alvogen and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen/Tylenol and 5mgs of Oxycodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I still have several left from the time I had a kidney stone and they worked great for me. Is there anything else I can help with? ## This blue perk seems to me like it has some type of stuff in it that causes it to gel. Anyone else get that? Also leaves a extra bad taste in my mouth. ## Hi I'm a RN. Pharmaceutical companies started making opioid ...

percocet and panic
30 Replies RSS
I have been a regular taker of Percocet for recreation. I know, not a great idea, but I have a question. Apparently, I took much more than normal, with quite a bit of alcohol a couple of nights ago. I woke up the next morning with recurrent panic attacks. I had noticed that I had attacks on occassion if I was not careful about how much I took, but they lasted a minute or two and then left. Since my last dose (about 48 hours), I have been experiencing attack after attack ... I am assuming that I may be in withdraw or experiencing a side effect, but as the hours go by, I am not so sure. I see that it takes up to three days to get it out of my system (previous post). I have been a regular user, but not all of the time. If I have them, I take them, otherwise, I have always been fine. Obviou...

Taking a Half Dose of Percocet for a Toothache
1 Reply RSS
Can I take half of my prescribed 30mg Percocet dose if it is my first time taking this medication? It is for tooth pain in the back of my mouth. ## There is no Percocet that contains 30mgs of Oxycodone, the maximum dose contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, dry mouth, and constipation. What medication have you been prescribed? Can you please double check and post back? Thank you!

does percocet come in 20mg? ## I'm assuming you're referring to the amount of the narcotic in it, the Oxycodone? If so, then NO, it does not. Percocet, which contains the Oxycodone, coupled with Acetaminophen, is only available in a maximum dosage of 10mgs Oxycodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. You can read more here: Are there any other questions? (It should be noted that as a separate medication, by itself, Oxycodone IS available in much higher dosages!) ## Percocet comes in 15 and 30 mg tablet too so apparently you don't know what your talking about ## You are stupid percocets come in 5mg. 7.5mg and 10 mg. That's it. ## I'm doing a 20 right now in ny hunnie so yes they come in 20s ## noo...

percocet vs norco
142 Replies RSS
I'm taking percocet 10/650mg. I have (DDD), (Athritis), and the list goes on. I have a friend on Norco. Can you tell me what the difference is between them and the highest mg the norco comes in? THANK YOU SO MUCH! ## The Percocet is way better then the Norco, and the reason is because Percocet contains Oxycodone and Norco contains Hydrocodone. What im trying to say is Oxycodone is a stronger and longer lasting Opiate then Norco. {Edited for safety} just make sure to watch how much Tylenol/Acetaminophen ur taking, try not to take more 4000 to 5000mgs cause it can damage ur liver. The best Percocet you can get is 10-650 and 10-325 The best Norco you can get is 10-325 or Lorcets which are 10-650 . Hope this helped in anyway at all and fell free to ask me any questions u have about Pers...

alvogen percocet 10 yellow round 230

Just got these pills from my pharmacy after getting long white ones with the imprint m523 on it which by the way I love. But these new ones from alvogen are absolutely horrible!! I am still in a lot of pain and the feeling I get from them are next to nothing like the m523 I am wondering if the pharmacy will exchange them for me if they have my old ones in stock? Anyone know the answer to this? Thank you in advance ## I am very sorry that they aren't working for you. However no, your pharmacy can't exchange them, so to speak, because once you leave the building with them, they can't take them back, as tampering is a concern. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth an...

For years I have been taking Watson brand Percocet 10/325 6 tablets daily. A few months ago I went to fill the prescription and was given Endocet by Endo Pharm. and told it was a generic they had, so I agree to take it. Then last month when I went to get the same script filled I was given Oxycodone/Acet by Actavis and told it is the generic brand but the company bought out Watson and that is why Watson is no longer available. Again, agreed but shortly after taking them I started to notices slight shortness of breath, fast heat beat, extreme dizziness, fall asleep within 30 minutes after taking them, less energy and still having pain. I never felt this way when on Watson and if they are saying it's the same company why am I having theses symptoms? I always take 6 a day, but with thes...

Which Pharmacies Carry Yellow Percocet 10
52 Replies RSS
Does anyone know of a pharmacy that carries the yellow 10-325 percocets? They work a lot better for me than the white ones but i havent had much luck finding them. ## No one is really going to be able to answer your question, without having at least a general idea of where you are located. Most websites, including this one, are accessible from almost any country in the world, so if someone from Pakistan knows a pharmacy that carries them, this will likely not help you, if you are in the U.S. In addition, you may also want to provide more information, such as the markings on the tablet or the manufacturer, since the colors do not actually mean anything. Can you please post back with more information? ## I live in Bronx New York I'm trying to find a pharmacy that carries the 10/325 Pe...
