How Long Does Hydrocodone Stay In Your System For A Urine Test (Page 2)

I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

Hello I got my tooth pulled yesturday at the dentist and I took about 8 5/500 hydrocodone with acephotomin tabkets.. I don't normally take pain killers but I have a ua on Thursday. I do have a script for them.. I just want to make sure they won't be in my urine. I work out normally, all I drink is water and i eat very healthy. I weigh about 134 pds. I just want to make sure it isn't in my system by thursday because of the type of ua it is.. Even though I have a script I rather not have to deal with the bulls*** that may come along with if I fail it.

My husband had taken 2 vicodin(unsure strength) on a late thursday night (1am ish) for pain,
and needed a surprise drug test at 730am the following Thursday at 730am with his work.

He had a script from physical therapy and a shoulder surgery, but unsure of if it was outdated becase he tossed the bottle after those 2 left,

With that said is that enough time for it to be out of his system 6.5days???? (with adequate hydration, and in good shape)

You'll be fine. The worst thing that could happen is your test come out inclusive. You show them your bottle that was prescribed to you. And that's it! Calm down, it's ok!

Thank You, only problem is he threw the bottle away when finished :/ so he wasnt sure on if it was "valid" anymore, and the test was a surprise, even though after 6 days he should be good.. set to have a baby this week! sooo... just dont need extra headaches :/

@Tina - till will be ok. With that many days in between, his test will not show it. I noticed a lot get scared about taking these meds even when they are prescribed to them. To give you a load of confidence and yo ease others who read this, as long as you have been prescribed for it, you should be fine. Even if the bottle was expired. As long as it originated to the one that takes it.
I have been on hydro 10/500, oxycodone, soma, tizanadine, naproxen(which is just aleve basically), amitriptyline, and fenytnal the past 5 years. I have had federal government jobs and work at a major hospital as part of their IS Dept. Both were really strict in their hiring process. Both are critical and supervise on their drug test. I pass easily with both, but always told them or made them aware of my condition. And if I was capable and able to control my mental state and work with no issues. Then I am acceptable without any type of dicrimatory issues.
Now for this who do take it with no prescription and illegally. I don't judge you, and do understand your situation if your concerned. The withdrawal effects of any of my drugs that are out. Even a day, are horrible. Lucky for those who take it once in a while. To be dependent due to real actual pain, is sometimes pure hell! But my condition wasn't something I was born with. It was caused by carelessness of another driver on the road. Try to live with a pacemaker implant and still deal with chronic pain with no job and no health issuance! Lol, i dont proclaim I am an expert on this stuff. All I can share is my experiences. Take care everyone. And hope my little info helps.

@ Melinda- What's the time when you took it between when you were tested? And I know this might sound weird, but when you woke up, did you use the bathroom before going to take the test? Reason is for those who hold it all before a test. This is a no no! Your first initial morning pee is usually the more strongest or say potent. It's even thing that's been expelled while your asleep. Jet advice for some, do your business when you wake up. And if your scheduled to take a test.. Go buy done Gatorade or Poweraid. Drinking water can make the test come out inconclusive. For those who do a lot but don't have prescription. Go to your fitness shop or Kroger or Dillions. Buy a bottle of Niacin. (sorry if my spelling sucks) depending how long your notice that you have to take a drug test.
Here's one of my personal experience. Before my accident, I use to smoke pot a lot. Wasn't a stupid kid, some grown ups know what I am talkin about! Lol but I had a new job but had three days till I was suppose to take the drug test. I bought niacin, took it three time each day and drank poweraid. I passed my test! And they even told me that it was the cleanest test they had seen.. Which honestly sounded weird to hear! Anyways, that's my two cents. Lol

@Tina - then tell him he should be fine! Even if he took the maximum strength they offer. Along as he had stopped after the initial two. It's ok! And congrats on the baby! My daughter is 6 and about start her first day as a 1st grader! She's excited, lol

Just a quick question... I just took 1 7.5 vicoden (nothing before or after) this was the only time. (Had some horrible back pain). Anyway, I have to go to court for something in about 8 days and may need to take a court ordered drug test. This would be very important for me to pass as my future is depending on it. I am very small (115 lbs and not much fat on me), do you think it would pop up positive?? Please help!! I'm freaked! I was thinking my courtdate was 2 weeks away but after taking the pill I checked my court docs and saw that it is much sooner :(

Thanks Loven! I'd just much rather miss court or have my lawyer reschedule if anyone thought this wouldn't be enough time for it to cycle out of my system... As I mentioned, that test could ruin everything in my future.

Drink a lot of Gadorade or powerade. They contain Niacin. Also vitamins that any test likes to see. You can go buy Niacin at your local drug store or GNC. Look it up on google too! Just a recommendation. ;)

Hey LOVEN: Need a good opinion here... Ok, so I found out that Thursday I need to take a drug test. Probably a good one since it's court ordered, but anyway. Thursday I took 1 7.5/750 Vicoden and half of a 10/325 Percocet, Friday a whole 10/325 Percocet and another half that night, Saturday I took 2 whole 10/325 Percocets, and today (Sunday evening at 5pm) I took a half of a 10/325 Perc and I wont take anything more.... Thats ALL I have taken and before Thursday my system was totally clean. I had even had a drug test Thursday and passed it (Not a court one, but one in an office). I started taking a multi vitamin and drinking gatorade. Do you think I will pass this upcomming test Thursday? I'm freaking out and need HONEST advice because if anyone thinks I may fail I would much rather reschedule this courtdate with my lawyer.

My friend, it seems youve got a good plan of a attack or a head start! Keep drinking the powerades etc. That should hold you off fine! I have taken some INTENSIVE drug test due to previous jobs. And also take occasional ones for my continuing prescribed but insane amount off pain meds, sleep meds, wake up meds, irritated stomach from meds, etc!! And I still get asked if I am actually taking any of them!! It's probably due that I drink Dr. Pepper like it was air! Lmfao I think I down min 4 1 liter bottles a day. But can't gain weight worth of crap! Still way between 150-165lbs. I am also 5'10". Not really tall. But I say average. Just letting anyone know what my stats are. Not a bean pole by no means. Just a long torso short legged. Lol

Also, I like to thank anyone for asking me for my advice! I do not acclaim I am an expert by any means. And I have been there were many of you are worried about now. After learning more about how much I was taking and that I was getting away with or say passing the screenings with "exceptions" of the rules. I thought since I was taking some of these major drug screens since I am monitored due to my pain pacemaker. I would see how a person that would take even a fraction of what I take would pass a drug test. And found many ways to mess with the tests. Not on purpose. I do nothing illegal. I just always been a good sources amongs friends I know that actually do them illegally. And give them advice how to pass that test. Now.... It doesn't mean I have advice if you actually take marijuana or heroine. That's on you. But use my info wisely. Thus far, I have yet have one person I know, even in a worse case senario, not pass their drug test. So, do your research folks! Just google it. But if it makes you feel more clear talking or texting me. I'll try to give you the best support I can! Be well my friends! As my life I live with horrible chronic pain. And it gets harder and harder for people like me to get properly treated, due to the malpractices that some doctors create for not properly prescribing patients the right meds. I find it extremely ironic, that in my youth.. I abused... And that an actual incident that left me sow what disabled. I now have depend on this stuff that is also slowly killing me... Karma can be a real b**** at times! ;)

I took a little less than half of a low strength hydrocodone (I don't know the exact strength, I just know its a low one) Sunday afternoon for a migrane.. I had a 10 panel drug test today (Wednesday) around 3pm.. What is the possibility it could show up? I'm about 5'5 and 130lbs

I don't abuse drug, but I'm prescribed oxycodone 15 mg and I'm suppose to take 1/2 of this pill 2 x a day. I don't like them I like the Hydro, had been taking these for 5 yrs and he said my liver level was up and put me on th oxy's. This was 10 mos ago but I didn't take them I been taking the LTabs .I got call this morning for a pill count and I know they are going to take a urine or blood test. This will be the 3rd test, 1st I took a tramadol, 2nd time they found LTab and the asst. told me if they test me again and I don't pass the Dr will let me go. Is their anything I can do today they call me this morning. I had already took a Tab last night, this morning and again b4 they called didn't know they was going to call. 1st time for pill count. I'm scared of taking the oxy and already took a 10mg tab but how do I get oxy in my system within the next 3 hrs to show up. I can't take 2 tabs at one time without shaking sweating and feeling really bad, I take one 10 tab every 4 hr if the scar tissure from the breast cancer get unbareable I'll take another in 3 hr instead of 4. I need to get the oxycodone in my sys to show up at the PM Clinic today, I'm going to tell him to change my med back to LTabs, my primary Dr say my liver level is normal. It was other meds I was taking for cancer and arithis. I need to be their in 3 hrs from now. any hope for me.I drinking the powerade now, I hate it to.I know I pityful. I never drunk alcolhol, took recreational drugs, I don't like anything bitter, don't drink coffee. I'm scare to take half of the Oxy it's been only 3 hours since I took Tab,Could I do anything or should I tell the Dr. HELP

My friend! First! Sit down! Breathe...... It's not the end of the world! Lol I started getting these test myself the past couple months. It's honestly a scare tactic. If you have taken hydro that long, it doesn't matter whether your on hydro or oxy. Both are opiates! It's all about strength level. And wtf are they putting you on oxy?!! It's almost thripple times stronger! And the tylenol is content is the same. If it's the 15/500mg. God if it wa legal to kick some of these doctors asses I would do it! I hate how they treat people like us ha have no choice but have to go through this alternative in order achieve relief or be actually human! Lol
With just one full oxy 15 should be more than taking 4 10/500mg of hydro at one time! If they are makin sure your taking your meds. Then take them. If you show negative, then tell them to kiss your ass! If your doing your best and like you said "not abusing" then you should be fine. Unless the doctor is being discriminatory I would look for another doctor IMHO! It's good to be ok my friend!
