Watson or hydrocodone?

I recently went to CVS and forgot that they use some sort of generic for lortab called, well, I call it "Mallencrock (crock-o-crap). I have a refill. Can I go in and ask that they not make me pay for something I can't stand and doesn't work for me, and that I would like to have Lortab/Watson brand? ## There have been many complaints about the products manufactured by Mallinckrodt. Yes, you can ask them ahead of time if they have a different one in stock to fill your prescription, though it may be more expensive. If they don't, or won't order it in for you, you could always see about transferring your prescription elsewhere. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I actully did what you said and had it transferred to Walgreens and they happily gave me what I wanted...

Lortab Watson Blue vs Lortab M363
87 Replies RSS
My friend and I are both prescribed Lortab APAP10/500's. I get the Watson 540 blue pills and he gets the M363 white pills. I have taken the white ones before, but for some reason, it did not help me as much as the Watsons. I don't understand this. Besides the manufacturer, is there any real difference between the two different kinds of pills? ## Besides the difference in manufacturers, there may be a significant difference in the inactive ingredients in each pill. Inactive ingredients found in M363 are: crospovidone magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose povidone corn starch silicon dioxide stearic acid Each Watson 540 tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: croscarmellose sodium crospovidone magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose povidone starch steari...

how long after taking a lortab should I wait to take my suboxone
12 Replies RSS
Help! I've been on suboxone for 3 years and havent really had any relapses, especially in the last year. I have the flu of death currently and couldn't resist my mom offering me two of her lortab 10 mgs. That was about 12 hours ago. I can't tell if I'm having wds or not, honestly the pills didn't even help that much, and I'd like to take my sub asap. BUT since its my last one until the insurance prior authorization goes through, tomorrow or the next day, I'm only going to be able to take half my dose of suboxone. How long do I have to wait for wds to usually start? Like I said it didn't even feel like the lortab did anything ## Thought this made more sense :( it meant to say that I can't tell if what I'm having Is wds because I have had the worst ...

Have always had this in the med cabinet for occasional stomach cramps. Am finally running low. I'm 67 years old. Suggestions? ## We've had many questions about this product recently and I can only inform you that it has been discontinued. The main problem with it is that it contained a tincture of Opium, which lead to severe abuse and addiction in some people. These dangers led to it being pulled from the market. From what I understand, it is now only available by prescription, in the U.S. You can read more here: You may want to ask your doctor or pharmacist for a product that can help with stomach cramping. Proper treatment requires discovering what is causing the cramping. Are there any other comments or questions? ## I too are trying to figure out what they are doing with Par...

Looking for pain management in Wilmington, NC

Does anyone know of a doctor's office that doesn't have a policy against prescribing narcotic painkillers (such as lortab)? ## I have looked FOREVER! My doctor decided he was no longer seeing patients who he had been writing controlled substance prescriptions to and left me to find my own new pain doctor. I can't find one! I've called everywhere! I have Medicaid as my insurance and I live in Wilmington, NC, but I'm willing to travel to New Hanover County, Brunswick County, and Pender county; as long as it's no more than an hour one way then I can drive it! I was being prescribed oxycodone 10 mg and neurontin 300 mg. I have had a back operation which consisted of removing a very large tumor from the bottom of my spine, removing the nerve at the bottom of my spine ...

Watson Lortab Formula Change
200 Replies RSS
Does anyone know what Watson did or why they changed their formula for Lortab 10/500? It used to be blue and when I picked up my refill today they are now white. I still have a few days of my blue left but I swapped a few so I can try the white. I'm waiting for it to start working and I took it over 2 hours ago. My rx is 1-2 every 3 hours not to exceed 7 in a day. (my pm dr wants me on a stronger med but anything above hydrocodone makes me euphoric and I can't function) The blue color lortab starts to work within 15 mins. I took my first white color lortab 2 hours ago, waited an hour and took the 2nd and nothing. I will wait 30 mins longer and switch back to the blue until I run out. This sucks. I'm a full time law student, disabled, single mom and can't use my dominate ...
